Yvette woke up to the smell of Coffee Brewing and Sausage cooking on the grill...She showered and got dressed and put her clothes from before in an overnight bag...She walked into Gary's dining room..
She smiled..
Gary was cooking breakfast...
Omelettes
Sausage Links
and hot coffee...
"Fuel for the day ahead.." he said with a smile..
"Oh Thank youuuuuuuuuuu." she said..
As she ate breakfast, she thought about how her boring life had changed right around the time
we started working at the firm...
Her and Gary started seeing each other
and she hired Jade and she and
Olivia rekindled their friendship...The past few years had been incredible...She hoped it never ended..
As she headed for the door , She turned...Pulled Gary towards her...
and kissed him as if her life depended on it...
"THANK YOUUU, YOU ARE WONDERFUL.....I COULDN"T ASK FOR A BETTER MAN!" she said.
"WOWWWWW! "said Gary, completely in a daze...."Thank youuu.." he said..

We were all huddled around the conference table....at Karen and Jazzy's building..
Enjoying breakfast and
later discussing the case in the huge law library.
"Look our client says he was home all night...I believe him....He says he never even saw the victim...Again I believe him..." I said.
"But his gun only has his prints on them..He says he didn't fire his gun...and yet it was fired three times."said Bee Bee..
"They tested his hands...There was no gunshot residue on them...But he had three hours to wash his hands.."said Sofia..
"His credit cards were used to fill his car up with gas...But again he says he never got Gas...Nor did he buy a Hot Dog at Jakes."said Kahlil..
"Okay...Anybody been to the Gas Station or Jakes?" asked Dabnis..
"Yeah...it's self service, so no one in the little store on site would have seen who was gassing up at night ,I said.
"But they have cameras..Ms. Yvette is calling corporate and getting a court summons to see the footage from that night."said Bee Bee.
"You gotta do all that...We used to just ask for it.."said Jazzy..
''Yeah, the D.A.'s office and the police can just ask sometimes...but for Defense Attorneys...We have to play hard ball."said Dabnis softly ,while hugging his wife..
"Once Jade and Gary get a look at that footage...We'll know just who was at that Gas station and Jakes.." said Sofia.
"That's your killer right there.."said Kahlil...
"The Killer has got to be the wife or the daughter...Gotta be...You saw the wife slipping out of his place right?" asked Dabnis..
"Oh yeah...when I saw her in court yesterday..I recognized her.. That's the older woman who came to visit him...She would come in the front door and leave out the front on many occassions...with no shame.."said Bee Bee..
''You know what else? I saw his daughter yesterday in court....That's the young girl I saw slipping out ,when we were coming from doing laundry that day..."said Sofia.
"That's it...It's got to be one of them.....I'm leaning towards the daughter...She came in late..3:00 am by her own admittance...She would have had access to her dad's car...I used to take my dad's car for a spin while he and my mom were asleep or doing the nasty all the time when I was a young girl and park it right back in the same place and they were never the wiser.."laughed Jazzy...
"Ouuuuu you were bad..."laughed Kahlil..
"I know and I want to do badddd things with her.." Dabnis whispered in her ear and nibbled on it..
"Stop it...Nasty mannnnn." giggled Jazzy.....
"Let's look at the sequence of events...We saw him Saturday Afternoon around noon...He had someone in his apartment...but it definitely was not Mrs. Weathers...I didn't see the girl, but I heard her..She was definitely younger..."I said..
"It was the daughter....I saw them when they left...She got in his car and he drove her somewhere.."said Sofia..
"That's the last time we saw him alive...but his credit card record and these photos taken by Jade shows he was in the motel with Mrs. Weathers.. for the rest of the night.."said Bee Bee.
"MY GOD! HE SCREWS THE DAUGHTER ALL AFTERNOON, DROPS HER OFF SOMEWHERE AND THEN TAKES THE MOTHER TO A MOTEL???? He had two for one in one day?? HE'S A MACHINE....OH MY GOD OR HE'S ON SOME SERIOUS VIAGRA OR CIALIS!" said Jazzy..
"He's a pig!"said Sofia.
"Yes he is.." said Bee Bee..
"Okay, Flash forward. ..Mr. Weathers didn't know about any of this until Monday , when Ms. Jade showed him the photos...He grabbed his gun and went into a rage...Went to the gym and was screaming for Calvin's head...The Manager there said she calmed him down and talked him him into going home..."I said.
"Now by his and his wife's account...They both made love for hours...Make Up Sex..."said Kahlil..
"I know what Make Up Sex is Kahlil.."said Jazzy...
Bee Bee cracked up laughing..
So did Sofia...
"They both were knocked out after the sex and they went to sleep....but the wife says she was sleeping so sound, she can't be sure if he got up and went back out or not!" I said..
''Why would a wife say that ,without being prompted?" asked Jazzy.
"Yeah...It's almost like she's strapping him to the table for the needle." said Dabnis.
"The wife did it..It's quite obvious...but what triggered it???...What would be her motive? They were already discovered...Her husband had already went out to kill him.."said Jazzy..
"But he didn't...and they made up.."said Sofia..
"So why would she kill her lover?"asked Bee Bee..
"Betrayal!!.....That's got to be it...Somehow or other she must have found out about the daughter, her daughter and him..." I said..
''How do you prove that in court?"asked Jazzy..
''Even if you pose it in theory...It's mere speculation..Without solid proof."said Dabnis.
"We got work to do." said Kahlil..
Ms. Yvette walked in...
" I got the court summons... Gary and Jade will be looking at film footage from that night tonight from Jake's and from The Gas Station..Whoever is on that film footage...Is our killer."said Yvette.
III-
At Curran-Fromhold Correctional Center...Sam Weathers receives a visitor..
"Nora, what are you doing here?" he asked...Glad to see her..
"Have Virginia or Bria been here to see you?" asked Nora.
"Bria was here...
Virginia?? No!!She's settin me up....I think she did this...but I can't understand why she would..It baffles me.."said Sam..
"Sam do you think she was the only woman that was sleeping with Calvin?? Calvin was a walking penis..I hate to speak ill of the dead...but he even tried with me, several times...One time almost pleading...He got tired of me shooting his corny ass down... He tried to sleep with one of your lawyers,
Ms. Yvette...She was just like me..constantly turning him down...He finally stopped...but your wife and uh.....Your daughter, Bria...They uh liked his slick talk...They thought he was cute..."said Nora.
''What are you saying? Bria was sleeping with that creep too? ARE YOU SERIOUS??" asked a now enraged Sam Weathers..
"Now hold on....I don't know about Bria...I saw her talking to him once and he gave her his business card...but that's all I saw..
Your wife on the other hand was all over him ,laughing at all his jokes...Smiling at him, winking her eyes at him...Acting like a teenage school girl around him..I could always tell after he had gotten it, because she was like someone on a cloud, just floating around here, giggling at everything,singing...just acting silly.. She started dressing younger, wearing her hair in young girl styles , even using the slang of young people..She was really gone over him..."
"I told him , "Calvin...These younger ,single women are one thing...but fooling around with a married woman, who is much older is a whole nother thing..You're playing with dynamite boy! "He just laughed."said Nora.
"That punk...He got what was coming to him....but I didn't do it...I swear I did just like you said...I went home." said Sam..
"I believe you..but your wife must have slipped out, took your gun...and your car and killed him...Now she's setting you up and you're the perfect fall guy..You were in a rage and everybody saw you waving that gun and threatening to kill him.."said Nora.
"Nora...If I get out of this mess...I'm divorcing her immediately and you and I are going to get married...I swear..."said Sam..
"Then hurry up...let's get the ball rolling.."laughed Nora.
We were down the street from our building in a parking lot....
"Why are we here?" asked Ms. Yvette, who was paying us a rare visit...Gary was meeting her here after he and Jade were finished.
''We have an indoor parking lot in our building.."said Kahlil..
"The four of us and most of the tenents use it..Usage of it is part of our rent.."I said.
"But Calvin always parked in this lot..Taking that off made his rent cheaper.."said Bee Bee.
"Plus he was sleeping with the Manager...She allowed him to park here free all year long."said Sofia.
"My god...He really was a walking erection!" said Yvette..
"Here is his ride...Just like I thought..." I said.
Every tire was flat and somebody had thrown paint on the side of it...
"Ouuuuuuuuu, Somebody was maddd."said Bee Bee laughing!
"I'm betting our killer stopped here first.."said Sofia.
"Then preceded to our place and killed him." said Kahlil..
"And that's where whoever made their mistake...Whoever did this.....IS DEFINITELY ON FILM!" I said.
''And if they parked here too...This is far enough from your place that they wouldn't have gotten caught on Street Cams, until THEY LEFT HERE! in Long Term Parking"said Yvette.
IV-
On our rooftop...We had our food delivered..
It was piping hot.... From Chinese Bob's Emporium!
Jade hated that he called himself that...She told us his real name..Bingwin Cho...a far cry from "Chinese Bob" His family was from her village in Mainline China.
"Ohhh this is delish..." said Ms. Yvette..
"MMMMMMMM YESSSSSSS!" said Bee Bee..
"It really turns me on the way you moan when you're enjoying your food"..I whispered in Bee Bee's ear...She blushed at first and then she giggled..
''Is it like I sound when I'm enjoying you.....insiddde of me.." she whispered..
"Ouuuuuuuuuuu " I said and we both laughed..
"Here comes Jade and Gary.."said Sofia..
"They look very happy." said Kahlil..
"Ouuu that looks so good and I'm sooo hungry..."said Jade.
"Me too..I think we solved your murder.."said Gary...
"And I think we've solved it too...Let's compare notes...After we eat this good food.."said Ms. Yvette.
