"Every Last one of them and their boss attended and graduated from PENN Law school..and from what I see here , they all have tried close to or over 100 cases...Ouuuuu they're good... I remember Beatrice and Sofia at Girls High..

They were Freshmen (9th Graders) when I was a Senior....I'm a little older than them....

''Ummmmmmm and Keith, Beatrice's husband...LAWDDD! I remember him at Howard... He was a freshman , when I was a Senior..I might've stayed an extra year to get with him, younger or not." she thought....

And this guy.,..Kahlil..used to sell weed, good weed when I was in High school.. He went to Central...He was a Freshman when I was a Senior..Who would have guessed that this guy would wind up going to Temple and then Law School at PENN no doubt and is now married and an Attorney at an illustrious firm like McCluskey/Cozen/Connor and Pratt.... Imagine that!!

These four are good..

So is their boss...She showed me that yesterday at the arraignment.." thought Michelle..

"The rest of this case is a mess.. No Fingerprints, No DNA, the guy was a floater, found in the water..

No tracking of his last hours..Not one witness that puts the suspect anywhere near him....I may have to drop the charges for lack of evidence.. All he has is a motive...The victim was sleeping with his wife..That he got from an anonymous tip...That's Hearsay....No proof of that...This is ridiculous...What kind of police work is this?" she thought.

Lt. Tragg walked in her office with a plastic bag...

In it was a gun...He was smiling a snarky superior smile....

"This is the icing on the cake...It's a 40 caliber.. We pulled .40 caliber sluggs out of the victims head. I found this in the dumpster in back of their condo...And it appears both Colgate and his wife are fugitives. Nowhere to be found..." said Lt. Tragg.

''Did this gun pass Ballistics?" she asked.

"It did...This is definitely the murder weapon....You know, my men did a thorough search last week within a 15 block radius of all of the dumpsters and trash cans and Condos, Lofts and Apartment dwellings in that area and they missed this.. Then I got an anonymous call." said Lt. Tragg.

''And this gun was just magically there waiting for you to find it right?" she asked.. She couldn't believe how stupid and inept this man was...And he was Lieutenant!!! Incredible she thought. "Did it ever occur to you that this anonymous tipster might be your killer? Any prints or DNA on the gun?" she asked.

"No, it was wiped clean...." said Lt. Tragg.

''How about the serial number?" she asked.

"It was scraped off! Look we are on the same team here."said an angry Lt. Tragg.

''Yes I know and I'm asking all of the questions Yvette, Keith , Bee Bee, Sofia and Kahlil will be asking me in court. I've got to have answers to those questions or I look like a fool.."said Michelle.

Lt. Tragg stood there for a minute staring balefully at her, then he turned and walked out.. He could see he was not going to like working with this chick!

At our building...

In The Front Office, Virginia and Jetty were enjoying a sweet kiss.

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...Ohhhhhhhh!" he moaned.

"Okay,Okayyyyy baby, you've got to go... I've got to work." said Virginia..

"Just one more kiss..Just one more.." said Jetty.

She kissed him one more time...This time a little longer and he waved and walked out of the suite.

Yvette smiled.

"You've got that man wrapped around your finger girl..." she said.

"I think I'm turning him on a little too much sometimes." said Virginia with a smile.

We all met in our conference room/law library...

"Okay...Tell me about our current case." said Ms. Yvette starting off the meeting.

"There is absolutely no Physical or Forensic evidence whatsoever tying our client to the deceased.

Not one fingerprint, not one bit of DNA."said Sofia

Of All the witnesses interviewed, Not one puts the two men together outside of work and the last time they were seen together was two weeks before Mr. Spann died,." said Beatrice.

"Lt. Tragg had absolutely no way of knowing about Spann and Mrs. Colgate, because apparently none of the people he interviewed knew about that... He got this information from another source, more than likely anonymous." I said.

''Here's something I just found out from a friend of mine at Police Headquarters.. Tragg apparently found the murder weapon.. A.44 Caliber pistol in a dumpster outside of the Condo where The Colgates live..But Get this.. The Police did a thorough 15 Block Radius of dumpsters, and such for all of the Condos, Apartment buildings and lofts in that area last week and they somehow missed it..he got an anonymous call and there it is waiting for him." said Jade.

''With No prints or DNA and the registration number filed off..How neat and tidy huh?" said Kahlil.

"It doesn't occur to this lunkhead that this anonymous tipster could be his killer.?" asked Jade.

"When I met the man years ago... He was a Detective , who had just become a Seargent..I didn't understand that...but His Father was Lieutenant and his Uncle Jack was a Captain... I figured it was Nepotism..They're both dead now... I keep wondering how he still has a job?" said Yvette in all seriousness.

"I just got a text...It was from Danny...He was trying to text you Ms. Jade...." I said.

"My Phone is on silent, what did he want?" asked Jade.

"He said Lt. Tragg just issued fugitive warrants for both Joseph and Olivia Colgate for Murder one." I said.

"Oh for crying out loud!" said Bee Bee.

"What do we do Ms. Yvette?" asked Sofia.

''Call Judge Cummings, Call The Colgates...We are going to produce them."said Ms. Yvette.

II-

COURTROOM D- TWO HOURS LATER!

''What are we here for Yvette?" asked Judge Clemmons..

"A Fugitive Warrant has been issued for our clients and we have produced them in a timely fashion to prove that they are not fugitives... Mr. Colgate is currently facing First degree Murder charges...He is free on bail and he and his wife have not fled the city...They are staying at this hotel on advice of counsel under their own names..." said Yvette ,giving the Judge their address.

''We in no way intend to flee your honor.. I have every intention of showing up to court to face my charges and to fight them." said a contrite Joseph Colgate.

"This is a nightmare." said Olivia Colgate.

"A nightmare that originated in the mind of an inept egotistical detective who likes to make headlines." I said.

"Yes.... He'll be showing up in a few minutes with the media." said Bee Bee.

"You hit the hammer on the nail Bee... Here he comes with the ADA in tow." said Sofia.

"Like Clockwork." said Kahlil.

ADA Michelle Battles looked exasperated at the entire thing..It was clear she didn't see a need for this.

Lt. Tragg entered the courtroom with a Tactical squad, followed by the Press..

"Joseph Colgate, Olivia Colgate.. I'm placing you both under arrest for the Murder of Anthony Spann." he bellowed for everyone to see.. It was Breaking News..

"All of you policemen and reporters, OUT OF MY COURTROOM NOW!" bellowed an Angry and totally exasperated Judge Clemmons, watching them all leave.

"Your Honor...I had nothing to do with this and the people have no plans to charge Mrs. Olivia Colgate with anything at the moment...There is no evidence to prove she had anything to do with this at the present time.," said the ADA.

"Lt. Tragg, Mr. Colgate was not a fugitive...Are you planning to charge him with an additional murder of someone else?" asked Judge Clemmons.

"Well....Well...Well..uh...ahhhhhh no.." said Lt. Tragg who as usual was as red as a beet.. Embarrassed and livid at this Harpie Judge, who clearly did not like him. He had arrested her once,

"Since he is already free on bail for the murder he is charged with and you have absolutely NO EVIDENCE involving Mrs. Colgate in anything....They are free to go... And let me just impress upon you...If you try a stunt like this again before this trial is over.. I'll hold you in contempt and lock you up.....From what I hear you're quite familliar with the "Cooler." She said.. "Mr and Mrs. Colgate, we are sorry for this.. You are free to go." said Judge Clemmons.

"Thank You Your honor." said Joseph Colgate.

"Thank You ,your honor."said Olivia Colgate..

We marched out and addressed the press..

"This was the act of an over aggressive detective who likes getting his name in the papers and his picture on television more than he does actually solving a crime." said Ms. Yvette.

Neither me, Bee Bee, Sofia or Kahlil had any statements to make to the press as we waded through the crowd of media people, who were snapping photos

and asking questions.

ADA Battles had harsh words for Lt. Tragg..

"Your Grandstanding has made a mockery of this case... I've been doing this for a long time Lieutenant..I'm not going to go onto court and look like a fool... No more stunts. You go out and recanvass the crime scene...Get me evidence...A print, DNA, a witness who actually saw something, heard something...A little thing called proof and not just a mysterious telephone call from some boogeyman..." she said and walked off, steaming mad.

It was like talking to a brick wall.. Lt. Tragg stood there embarrassed and totally humiliated.. The day had not turned out the way he planned at all...This woman was definitely not a team player, he mused.

"Your anonymous tipster turns out to be not so reliable eh Lieutenant?" said Jade, who was laughing..

"I never trusted em too much when I was a Homicide Detective...." she said and snickered and walked away, following us..

Ohhhh how he hated her...He couldn't wait for the day when he got to pull her license. he thought to himself.

III-

We hadn't eaten in Sam Mother's Diner in at least a month,,,

ADA Michelle Battles invited us to lunch.... She said she knew us...She looked familliar to us too!

Ms. Yvette and Ms. Jade went back to work...

"I thought I recognized you guys...Beatrice , you and Sofia went to Girls High....You were Freshman when I was a senior...You two tried out for the Cheerleading squad...I remember you two, always together..You didn't see one without the other." She said.

''Sofia is my oldest friend.. She lived across the driveway from me.. I think we met when we were four..We played with dolls together... Attended the same elementary school, Middle School and High School." said Bee Bee ,looking at and smiling at her friend.

''We were both only children...So we naturally bonded...We were both opinionated, both had the same interests on just about everything...It was only natural we'd both enter law school and become lawyers."said Sofia.

She looked at Kahlil...''Did you know this guy? He was the weed guy for me and my friends, Senior year Sold the best stuff.. Always dressed nice..Had a little hooptie...Thought he was slick." she said.. Kahlil laughed. 'Never thought he'd go to college, let alone law school... I thought you'd be somebody I'd wind up prosecuting."

she laughed..

"People change...I got my act together in 11th grade and made my way to Temple." said Kahlil.

''We knew him vaguely..He used to sell us weed too and since he had a car...When we needed rides..He was our guy,..Sofia kind of had a crush on him, but she already had another boy friend."said Bee Bee.

''And then when we all wound up in college , taking the same classes, we got even closer."said Sofia..

'So did me and him...I was seeing someone else, but when we got to law school it was obvious..he and I had a vibe."said Sofia.

She then looked at me..."I know you don't remember me." she said.

(I didn't...but I certainly would have)

"I remember you from Howard....You were a Freshman, when I was a senior.. I remember when you pledged Kappa....Did you girls pledge anything...I'm an AKA." she said.

"Our Boss Lady is an AKA...."said Bee Bee.

''She loves us anyway...We are both Delta Sigma Theta girls.. Pledged on the same line.. I was Number two, Bee Bee was number three." said Sofia.

"You didn't pledge anything Kahlil?" asked Michelle.

"Nah, I was dating their line sister...Number one at the time...but I kept em supplied with Weed and food the entire time they pledged." laughed Kahlil...

"So you guys met Keith in law school...He became the fourth muskateer and you found your way to each other... You're married...and you guys live next door to each other and work at the same law firm...It's the stuff Movies and Rom coms are made of ." laughed Michelle Battles.

We looked up and Lieutenant Tragg was standing over us, staring balefully..

"You are wayyy out of line counselor...You should not be fraternizing with the attorneys you are going to be going up against in court...This is unheard of... I happen to be friends with District Attorney Garcetti and he is going to hear about this and the blatant disrespect you have been showing me throughout this case., now let's go." he said and grabbed her by the arm..

"Take your hands off of me.." she said and shoved him away.... "I grew up with these guys...We went to the same high school and college...I was catching up with them....I haven't seen them in years.." she explained.

"You're a little older than them.." he said.

"I am, but I knew them in High School and later college and we grew up in the same neighborhood...Now go away...You should be getting me some evidence...Real evidence instead of worrying who I'm socializing and fraternizing with. Now GO AWAY!!! I MEAN IT!" she snarled.

"That never works with him...He's just going to stand here and stare at us... "You want to get your food to go?" asked Kahlil.

"No...He's not going to intimidate us." said Michelle Battles..

''We're good!" said Bee Bee.

Two Sherrif's deputy vehicles drove up....

"Artie, we are getting sick of this.." said one of the deputies..

"HEYYYYYYY WHAT ARE YOU DOING"? I'm involved in a murder case...I was talking to the Assistant District Attorney here concerning the case." he explained.

"I asked him to leave my table twice and he refused." said ADA Michelle Battles.

"Let's Go Artie." said the Deputy..

"AWWWWW COME ON!!!" scowled Lt. Tragg as he was handcuffed and let to the squad car..

"He has harrassed us and our friends so much that we have a cease and desist restraining order on him...He's not to come within 200 feet of us...It's strictly enforced." said Sofia.

"Strictly Enforced." I laughed.

"I don't want that Hammerhead anywhere near this case. I want him off the case." said Michelle Battles,

IV-

Nightfall...It had been quite a day... We had no idea when this trial was going to start.

We were all at home...

Bee Bee was wearing a sheer see through Baby doll.....She had just taken a hot shower and walked into our bedroom..

My eyes popped out of my head..

She giggled..

"Oh my goddd..look at you...Are you going to act like this all the time?..WOW!!! That boner is massive." she said and put her hands over her mouth..

"You act like this is the first time you've seen me like this." she said.

"It certainly isn't the first time I've had a boner because of you." I remarked , smiling at her.

"Oh I know..THAT goes back to the first day we met." she said.

It was true.

I pulled her towards me..."Is this something you bought at Bridget's store the other day?" I asked.

"The Panties are...I had this baby doll.. You've seen this before.." she giggled..

I undressed and slipped her panties down and off and took her into my arms and kissed her softly....

"Ohhhhh my godddd, Bee Bee..."I moaned...

"Ummmmmm, ouuuuuuuuuuuu you are so hard....Ouuuuuu, look at youuuu! And so damn BIG! OUUUUUUU!" she exclaimed as she stroked me lightly...

"You like that honey?" she asked softly..

"YESSSSSSSS!" I moaned.

We lie across the bed, kissing and practically slobbering over each other....

Soon we were making love passionately on top of the bed..Not thinking about the days events..

The next EIGHT TO NINE HOURS, all we were thinking about was each other..

The same was next door at Kahlil and Sofia's house..

Sofia and Kahlil were lying across the bed..

Kissing ,fondling and laughing..

He slipped her panties down and off...

"OHHHHHHHH MAMASITA!!!" he moaned...

"OUUUUUUUUUUU PAPI...AYE MIOS DIOS! You are sooo damn hard! OUUUUU!" Sofia moaned as she rode him on the side of the bed until neither one of them could take anymore...

"You've always gotten me hard mamasita." said Kahlil.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! I KNOWWWWWWWWW!" she cooed.

It was not long

before they too were making sweet love for the next EIGHT TO NINE HOURS!

Moaning and cooing..

Gary and Ms. Yvette were way ahead of us..

"Ouu Husband, slide em down....I'm ready!" she cooed.

"OHHHHHHH VETTIE, SO AM I!" Gary moaned, as he slid her panties down..

They had been making sweet love since Ms. Yvette got home for the day...

They had skipped dinner and gone straight to the bedroom..

They had made love early into the morning hours....

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWW YOU ARE MY SWEET GIRRRRRRL" Gary moaned..

Ms. Yvette liked when he called her that...

Enjoying their massive smart bed..

Yvette smiled.The bed was sturdy and very very comfortable...It moved with their every move and was very comfortable and warm..It actually enhanced their lovemaking..

EIGHT TO NINE HOURS had passed by.

Bee Bee and I were fast asleep in each others arms..

Sofia and Kahlil were in each others arms and still kissing, almost asleep.

And Gary and Ms. Yvette were sound asleep in each other's arms.

A nice stress buster for the coming day..

And At Ms. Jade's House...a few doors down.

"I heard Lt. Tragg is back in the Cooler, that's becoming his home away from home." said Lt. Danny Ho as he undressed, laughing.

"Good , we can breathe for a few days" said Jade

laughing.

''All of us!" said Danny.

They kissed passionately..

Danny took her into his arms and stood in the middle of their bedroom, kissing her passionately.

Danny slipped her panties down....

She eased herself down on Danny slowly.....

"OUUUUUUUUUUUU JADE!" he moaned.

"OHHHHHHHHHHH HUSBAND!" she cooed. She liked being able to say that.

They began making love. And like us ,for the next EIGHT TO NINE HOURS, all they cared about was each other.

Lt. Tragg was spending his night in the cooler.. Livid.....

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! SHE DIDN'T HAVE MY BACK...SHE'S NOT A TEAM PLAYER...SHE MIGHT AS WELL BE A PUBLIC DEFENDER!!" he snarled. he was speaking of ADA Michelle Battles, who he now had come to dislike greatly.

THE NEXT DAY-

Ms. Virginia interrupted our meeting with news...

"Jade your husband called back with news.. He took that Gun from evidence..The one Lt. Tragg found in the dumpster to ATF..They were able to discover the owner of that gun.. His name is Fred Foslow...and guess what? He lives next door to the Colgates."said Virginia,.

"Fred Foslow...interesting.. I tracked Lt. Tragg's phone calls on and around the day of the murder and since..and this anonymous call came from a blocked number...but I was able to ping the tower and with help from the FBI...determine that the number belongs to....Wait for it, Fred Foslow.." :said Jade.

"Hmmmmm Fred Foslow eh? He lives next door, he gives Lt. Tragg erroneous information and leads him to the murder weapon, a gun that hE owns..I think we need to take this information to the D.A." said Ms. Yvette.

"We might be able to avoid a trial." I said.

"He's next door. He hears the bed squeaking and the moaning.. He sees the comings and goings."said Bee Bee.

"He knows everything that's going on...That's how he knew about the affair and the general dislike the two men had for each other...He was privy to all that.."said Sofia.

"But why? what's it to him?" asked Kahlil.

"It's warped , but it's easy....He's got the hots for Mrs. Colgate also...He kills one lover, frames the husband and he's got her all to himself.. Just a theory......but this whole case is made up of theories. He's Hot for neighbor!"said Ms. Yvette.
