The Fish Man and The Boob!

 PRELUDE:

The OFFICE OF ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY LESTER BURKE

Assistant District Attorney Lester Burke,

was reading the morning paper and laughing..

There was photos of Assistant District Attorney Rockland Cambridge and Lt. Arthur Tragg., The Headline read-  ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY CALLS LT. TRAGG A BOOB AND THE DUMBEST COP IN PHILADELPHIA AFTER FALSE ARREST!

ADA Burke was cracking up laughing....and slapping his knee.

Deputy Of Operations, Don Donaldson, Philadelphia Police Department  also had a copy of the newspaper..He didn't see the humor.. He was mortified..

and Captain Eddie Cantrell, Philadelphia Police Department . had a copy too, He just shook his head in disgust and sighed.

They were all drinking coffee in Burke's Office ..They had all read the article in the  paper and seen the news footage of the disaster at Central Booking...Lt. Tragg had arrested both Rockland Cambridge and his investigator, Gary Lockwood the night before.

 and an army of Attorneys

had descended on him demanding their release and providing solid proof that not only were both men totally and completely innocent, 

but that Rockland's recent purchase of a new house was completely legitimate and above board...

Lt. Tragg walked into the office...He was pretty sure he was in big trouble after his monumental gaffe in arresting Assistant District Attorney Rockland Cambridge again and D.A. Investigator Gary Lockwood the afternoon before. Never had he seen all of those attorneys, Olivia Bennett's team and Yvette Jones's teams in his interrogation room at once, but so angry, so furious.. He had no idea that Rockland and Olivia's Office Manager, Alfreda had finally tied the knot...

He didn't know they were engaged...let alone married.  HE CERTAINLY KNEW NOW! 

It had been a horribly bad call and had reflected badly on the entire police department. He was either going to be fired or sent out on that boat he reasoned....or worse, demoted!!!

The Deputy Of Operations ,Don Donaldson called him in...

"Come in Lieutenant...Sit down." he said..  "You made a very stupid call in arresting Assistant District Attorney Rockland Cambridge and his investigator, Gary Lockwood.. They were on to who in the D.A.'s office was accepting money from a Russian Mobster...Now you have let said mobster and the corrupt ADA know that they were being investigated..The Cat is out the bag now... but that's water under the bridge...I want you to stay on this murder...Work it hard and stay out of Rockland and Gary's way.." said the Deputy Of Operations.

''Yes  sir sirrrr. I'll be all over it." he said, smiling... He neither got fired or sent to the Marine Boat nor demoted it seemed. He got up to leave.

''Oh we aren't done with you yet...You're going to make this up to Rockland and his wife Alfreda..I want you to buy a nice Sandwich Tray and a card apologizing deeply for what you did and I want to see it before you have it delivered." said Captain Cantrell.

"WHAT?" said Lt. Tragg. He was incredulous...It was hard enough to get him to admit he was wrong, let alone apologize for something and apologizing to  Rockland, who he despised deeply and his new wife, who he despised equally was just not in his DNA...

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT? THAT'S THE LEAST YOU COULD DO!  YOU HEARD WHAT YOUR CAPTAIN SAID...AND NOW I'M SAYING IT!! GET THAT SANDWICH TRAY AND GET THAT CARD....ASAP!!!  AND GET A CARD CONGRATULATING THEM ON THEIR MARRIAGE AS WELL.... CAPTAIN CANTRELL... MAKE SURE YOU SEE BOTH AND THE TRAY BEFORE IT'S SENT OUT!!!!  ARTTIE....I'M REALLY UP TO MY NECK WITH YOU!!! NOW GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE AND WORK THAT CASE!" bellowed the Deputy Of Operations.. raising his voice for the first time....

"YES SIRRRRRR SIRRRRRRR!" he said and leaped up... He was livid at having to eat humble pie like this...but he knew it was this or a return to that Marine Boat, which he hated more than anything...He got up and quietly walked out...He was as red as a beet!

ADA  Lester Burke laughed- "Why do you keep that guy around?"he said.

"Comic relief and hope that one day he'll bring in a big case..."laughed the Deputy Of Operations... "Look..he'll probably arrest the wrong guy like he usually does.. Either Olivia's team or Yvette's team works the defense and the investigators on their teams..

both  of  whom would've  made great detectives on our force will probably figure out the real killer like they always do anyway..." said the Deputy of Operations.. "I gotta go..See you guys later." he said.

ADA Burke looked at Captain Cantrell..

"Don't look at me man...You know how that goes." he said.

"Heyy Brother, You know I know." He laughed.

LATER THAT DAY-

Alfreda let herself in...

"Heyyy Everybody!" said Alfreda.

''Alfreda, what are you doing here? You're still on your Honeymoon."said Olivia. (She had given Alfreda one more week off with pay!)

"What is that Mommy?" asked Beverly..looking at the covered tray she had.

Alfreda had a huge sandwich tray with an assortment of meats and cheeses, mustard, mayo and hard rolls for sandwiches, along with plastic knives and forks...

"Lt. Tragg sent this sandwich tray to us with a wedding card, congratulating us on our marriage and another card saying he was sincerely sorry for any hardship he caused us...Rockland didn't want any part of it...He said you guys should have it...So!  I'm here. You hungry?" she asked, smiling..

''Aww woww...Look at all the different meats and cheeses,,,,and mayo and mustard and Hard rolls." said Nelson.

"You're in Heaven aren't you?" joked Josie,looking at Nelson, her big brother and shaking her head..

"You Knowwwwwww my husband is in hog heaven." said Beverly taking a slice of cheese and munching on it..

"Somebody made him do this...This isn't him...He never apologizes and never admits he's wrong." said Bresha, speaking of Lt. Tragg after reading the Wedding card and the Apology Card.

''You're right Bree...This is the Deputy of Operations and Captain Cantrell or maybe both...but...since it's here..It would be a sin not to enjoy it." I said.

"Truly a sin." said Olivia,looking at me and smiling and making herself a sandwich...

Beverly laughed...

''I know old Lieutenant Columbo (Her nickname for Lt. Tragg) is having a fit, thinking of us enjoying this sandwich tray at his expense." she said.

'' HA! I just know he is....Any Cokes in the Fridge?,, Let's have lunch." said Alfreda,.

"I'll get them...You sit down.Enjoy yourself Freda." said Olivia..

We kept Cokes and Waters in the Fridge...

We all sat down and began enjoying our sandwich tray and the cokes when the doorbell rang..

"I'll get it." said Beverly...

It was Rockland... He hugged both Beverly and Olivia..

He was amazed at how soft and cuddly both women were, how good they smelled and how soft their skin was. Once his sworn enemies, he now  loved them both dearly.

"Good Morning ladies.. Thank You again for getting me out ." he said.

"Rockland....You're family now....Officially...What were we supposed to do? Come on sit down have some lunch with us." said Olivia.

"Decided to get up huh? Changed your mind about this sandwich tray" said Alfreda, smiling at him sweetly...

"OH MY GOD, YOU ARE SOOO BEAUTIFUL!" he said..taking her into his arms...

He kissed her passionately....

''Rockland....Stop it..." said Alfreda, blushing...

"Come on and enjoy some of this meat and cheese Rockland...After all, you earned it."said Nelson..

"Yeah for what Lt. Tragg put you and Gary through...Gary should be here too ,enjoying this..." I said.

"We found the listening device planted in here last night...It 's not police department issue..Our guess is a P.I. in his employ once again targeted us... That covers him legally ,since we don't know who the P.I. is and can't prove he was in Lt. Tragg's employ.."said Josie..

"IF YOU'RE LISTENING BERT...WE ARE TALKING TO YOU!!" said Bresha..

''We are due to have our place swept anyway..." said Olivia, who paid Kevin's operatives to sweep our Office/Duplex twice a week...Sometimes three times a week.

We all enjoyed the sandwiches and Cokes the rest of the afternoon.

II-

FISH MARKET IN LITTLE NORWAY SECTION- THREE DAYS LATER

"We are up and running...I got my license renewed." said Arkady Lenin...

"You're waving a temporary license.." said his wife Susan Siu.

'This is good until it comes in the mail...That's why I was in City Hall the other day...Now we have another order of porgies coming in today....That last batch was bad...I had to throw them out."said Arkady...

''Arkady Lenin?" asked Lt. Tragg..

''Yes...Who want's to know?" said Arkady.

"The Philadelphia Police wants to know that's who... On this date , you were seen in city hall around this time..." said Lt. Tragg, showing him Street Cam and Building cam Photos of himself.

''Yes I was there...I was getting my merchandsing license renewed..I was at Department of Licenses and Inspections."said Arkady....

"You were also taking out a contract for your friends in the Russian Mob...You killed Bernie Kowalski and left a Porgie in his mouth...Your calling card..We got you cold..You're under arrest for murder.Mr. Lenin." said Lt. Tragg.,

"I see you on news the other night...You arrested an Assistant District Attorney and an Investigator from the D.A.'s office for this same crime...You don't know who killed that man..You're arresting my husband to save face...You are what he called you...A BOOB!" snarled Arkady's wife, Susan Siu Lenin...

"A BOOB EH? A BOOB??" said Lt. Tragg, a little rattled by being called such...Alright...You're under arrest Mr. Lenin for the murder of Bernard Kowalski, Anything you say from here on in can and will be used against you in a court of law....You have the right to an attorney..If you can not afford one, one will be provided for you...Do you understand these rights as I am reading them to you? Sure you do...WHO'S THE BOOB NOW?" he snarled.

"I understand....Susan, relax...Get me an attorney..."was all that Arkady said.

Sgt Brice handcuffed him and he was seen walking him out ,

along with a tactical squad... Lt. Tragg addressed a Press Conference..

"I arrested ADA Rockland Cambridge and Investigator Gary Lockwood purposely to throw the real killer off, make him feel safe... All along..I knew Arkady Lenin, a known associate of the Russian Mob was the real killer of Bennie Kowalski...An informant who had been working with the D.A.'s Office...The streets are safer tonight because the REAL Killer is off the streets." Lt. Tragg declared.

He refused to take any questions , which was wise... He made his statement and walked off.

As photos of the Fish Market was taken..

"My Husband is innocent.. He is not now and never been part of any Russian Mob...He is no killer..Lt. Tragg is wrong, just as he always is.. He is a BOOB!" she said to the press.

She like Lt. Tragg made her statement and refused to take any questions... The main one being who she was going to get to represent her husband.. Truth of the matter.. She didn't know.

And In The OFFICE OF ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY, ROCKLAND CAMBRIDGE

"I wish he'd shut his damn mouth...He just blew any measure of surprise our investigation had....Now whoever the dirty ADA is...They are on to us and he or she will just go deeper underground.."sighed Rockland Cambridge.

"He just blew six months worth of investigating." sighed Gary...

And at our house...There was much laughing...We had seen the Press Conference..

"Did you hear that lame excuse...He arrested Rockland and Gary to throw the real killer off.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" said Nelson.

''What a lying liar..He's not that deep a thinker.."said Beverly...

'' But he's a good liar though...He's trying to save face.." said Josie..

"HA!  His wife saw through him...She called him a Boob too! "laughed Bresha..

Olivia was silent...

"What's going through that head of yours?" I asked.

"I want to defend him....If Lt. Tragg arrested him you can be certain he's not the killer...I don't usually do this..but I'm going to call his wife.. ask if we can lend our services..Get me her number."said Olivia...

And at the Fish Market- Susan Siu Arkady received a phone call.

"Yes..I am Arkady's wife..No I have not found an attorney for him yet...I was looking for one...You are Olivia Bennett-Alexander....You work with your niece...Yes I know who you are...I've seen you two on Television..You want to take my husband's case??? Why sure....and I can pay you!!! Yes..I can find your office.. I'll stop by tomorrow. OH THANK YOU SO MUCH!" she said.

"Guys...We have our next client.." said Olivia...

As Beverly, Nelson, Josie, Bresha and I looked on....

III-

Alfreda walked home from work...

It felt weird crossing the street and walking around the corner...She had to get used to being this close to her job... She was almost tempted to catch the bus....

She wasn't home a good 15 minutes before her husband, Rockland entered...

''Heyyy baby.." he said and grabbed her up into his arms..

"OUUUUUUUUUUU!" she cooed , a little surprised.

They kissed passionately....She had to get used to this.. Her actually living with Rockland.. He could stay all night if he wished..He didn't have to get up and go home..He was home...and so was she.. Married...She never saw that coming...

They kissed...She  tried to devour his lips...

Without him asking...She unzippered her jeans and stepped out of them..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SWEEET BABY! OUUUUUUUUUUUU!" he moaned.. His suit jacket, came off, so did his shirt and tie... He stepped out of his trousers...

"ROCKLAND...This makes no sense , you being this hard and this big....Were you erect like this on the train ride home?" she asked.

"I'm afraid I was... That's why I sat by myself." he said, smiling sheepishly...

She smiled.... She really turned him on she thought...

He gently slipped her panties down..

He lifted her up and entered her as slowly as he could.....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HUSBAND!!! UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM OUUUUUUUUUUUU!" she cooed , surprised that she was orgasming so fast....her body trembling...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LAWWWWWWWD GIRL!~" he yelled out...

"WOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" she screamed!

He placed her on the kitchen sink, their kitchen sink and plowed into her slowly ,trying to savor her like a fine steak...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ROCKLAND....LAWDDDDDDDD!" she screamed out..

They scooped up their clothing and walked upstairs to their bedroom..

They sat on the side of the bed...Alfreda moved up and down on him...driving him delirious...

"OHHH MY GODDDDD ALFREDA...!" he moaned as she rode him slowly and softly on the bed..

They made sweet love in their bed for the Next NINE TO TEN HOURS....Married life was heaven for both of them so far...

Life went on for the rest of us...We All decided to go to Curleys Tonight...It was couples night and couples got a drink and two for free...

Jazzy and Dabnis, Kayla and Ray and Jessica and Chip sat at seperate tables for two...

''I love this couples night special they have..Three drinks a couples..."said Jazzy..

"Good thing we came on Olivia's bus.. We are going to be good and soused when we leave here... I'm glad it's Friday Night." said her husband...Dabnis.

"This is the first time they've had couples night on Friday Night." said Kayla..

"Best night to have it..we don't have to work the next day...We don't have to feel guilty about how much we drink."said her husband, Ray...

''What a week this has been eh papi?" asked Jessica.

"Yeah...this was a hell of a week...I'm just glad it's over." said Chip.

While Keith Jones and his wife Bee Bee, Sofia and her husband Kahlil sat in a booth for four.

''How you feelin baby?" asked Keith Jones..

"I've got a little buzz, but other than that...I'm good.. I could drive us back if we had to drive, if that's what you mean."laughed Bee Bee.

"Well I couldn't...but that's what husband is here for."laughed Sofia.

"I'm good for now....Let's order a second round." said Kahlil.

Jade and Danny Ho and Virginia and Jetty sat at seperate tables for two and enjoyed their drinks and talked quietly..

"Did you see Lt. Tragg's press conference...Talking about he arrested Gary and Rockland on purpose to throw the real killer off.What a joke."said Jade.

''He doesn't know that he has the REAL KILLER NOW.." said Lt. Danny Ho of Robbery-Homicide. He arrested some Fish man in Little Norway... a nobody...He owns a fish market...It was once suspected of laundering dirty money, but we checked it out... It was clean... Sissy's guys checked it out too..It was clean.. That Fish man could possibly be innocent."said Danny Ho.

"I didn't even bother to call Alfreda this afternoon." said Virginia.

"Girllll you better  not.. Rockland is probably laying some mean pipe right now...She wouldn't answer the phone even if you had of called." laughed Jetty...

"I'm sorry about your investigation baby." said Attorney Yvette Jones to Gary..

"Man, I wanted to put my fist through the TV set when he gave that press conference today...Can't he just arrest somebody without having to make a big deal out of it?" scoffed Gary, no longer mildly amused by Lt. Tragg, but actually very angry.

Beverly, Nelson, Josie, Paris and Bresha and  Tony Found a big table that the six of them could share..

"Nelson, you are going to have to carry your baby home...I'm beyond buzzed ,I think I'm drunk." said Beverly...

"Ohhh wow...I was going to suggest we all go to a diner after we left here..but I guess we can forget that huh?" said Nelson.

"It's not a bad idea....You're talking about that spot down the street from Stoleys right?" said Josie.

"Yeah...That's a good idea." said Paris..'We can all sleep tomorrow." said Paris.

"Yeah.." said Bresha.

"I'm down if everyone else is." said Tony.

and Olivia and I found a private table that we could sit at...Just the Two of us.

"Wouuuuuuuuuu these drinks are strong....I'm buzzed good." said Olivia.

"Me too! Thank god for your Buses..." I said.

We had been here for THREE HOURS, when Lt. Tragg walked in.. He scanned the room, He didn't have any one single target...We were all over the bar...

He walked over to Olivia and my table..

"Well Olivia...Did Alfreda and Rockland enjoy the sandwich tray I sent em?  I know they shared it with your entire staff." he said.

"As a matter of fact we did enjoy it...You should screw up more often." said Olivia.

I snickered...

He was as red as a beet....He angrilly turned and walked away..

We all loaded up both buses and pulled off at midnight.

Lt. Tragg laughed as we all pulled off.. He noticed Rockland and Alfreda 

were not among the crowd tonight..

Being Newlyweds he ascertained they were screwing each other's brains out in his new house..

We All wound up at the All Night Diner, down the street from Stoleys...

They were stunned when the 24 of us walked in and took seats....

"This is my second time here..I like this place." said Olivia.

"It stays open 24 hours.. This is a good place to have Saturday Morning Breakfast to be free of a certain Police Lieutenant." I said.

''Donnie Ray is right. We don't even need the buses...We could drive here."said Beverly.

"I can't believe this place was right down the street from Stoleys and this is only our second time here."said Nelson.

"I know right?" said Josie..

''Well usually after leaving Stoleys , we headed in the opposite direction towards Aqua Bar." said Paris.

"We've been here before..Remember you brought me here once?" said Bresha to her husband, Tony.

"I sure do..." said Tony, squeezing her tight..

"Wow this is my first time here..This is nice."said Yvette.

"You don't dance at Stoleys that's why."said her husband Gary, who had been here before.

"I knew this place was here..but this is my first time too."said Keith Jones.

"I can't believe this place was right down the street from Stoleys and this is my first time here."said Bee Bee.

''Well usually after leaving Stoleys , we headed in the opposite direction towards Aqua Bar and Josie's."said Sofia. 

"That's right..but now that we are here..I'm definitely down to come back on Saturday Mornings..We don't need the buses..We can drive here." said Kahlil.

"I'm both Hungry and tired." said Jade, leaning her head into her husband, Danny and glad none of us had to drive.

"Me too babe." said Danny.

"We can sleep late tomorrow."said Virginia to Jetty.

"Hallelujah."said Jetty.

"I like this place...I can't believe this is my first time here."said Jazzy. ""It stays open 24 hours.. This is a good place to have Saturday Morning Breakfast to be free of a certain Police Lieutenant."she added.

"You got that right...I'm down for us all coming here on Saturday Mornings...We could drive here..They got a huge parking lot."said Dabnis.

"That's a great idea Dabnis."said Kayla.

"Sure is...No hassle..Good food...What's not to love?" asked Ray.

"I agree..."said Jessica.

"It's a date." said Chip, her husband..

Much coffee and many meals were ordered...

After all that drinking in Curleys...we were famished.. The Comfort food was indeed comforting.

We were surprised and stood up and clapped when Alfreda and Rockland walked in..Holding hands..

They were Hungry too...They smiled upon seeing all of us...

"Oh Look, we weren't the only ones who had this idea."laughed Alfreda. After an afternnon and night of lovemaking , they found they were hungry...Rockland remembered this place..They got in his car and drove up to the restaurant....They saw our buses in the parking lot.

"No we weren't" said a smiling Rockland, glad to live around and hang out with all of these people.

It was a good night!

IV-

MONDAY MORNING-

Arkady Lenin had sat in Jail since his arrest Thursday Afternoon...He was good and mad and very defiant...

He exercised his right to remain silent , well almost..

"Look, we got you for murder one..We know you took the contract...Give us the boss...Give us the boss and the person in the D.A.'s office who is taking kick backs...and I can get you a reduced sentence,protective custody."said Lt. Tragg.

"LAWYER!" was all Arkady would say.

"Now look, you can make it easy for yourself or hard...It's up to you pal." bellowed Lt. Tragg.

"YOU BOOB!" Arkady spat!

"WHY YOUUUUU...I OUGHTA BELT YA ONE."snarled an angry Lt. Tragg.

"Don't you put your hands on my husband you BOOB!" screamed Susan Siu Lenin.

"YOU CAN'T BE IN HERE!!!" screamed Lt. Tragg.

"That's right..Susan, you'll have to wait outside..but WE can be here.. We are his lawyers." said Olivia.

"That's right...Can we have the room so we can talk to our client?" said Olivia.

"That's right." said Nelson.

"I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!" snarled a livid Lt. Tragg...He didn't expect to hear from us again for awhile..

''Aunt and Niece....I see you two on Television, you are my lawyers?" Arkady asked, laughing gleefully.

"You can thank your wife for that." said Olivia...

Lt. Tragg looked at her angrilly..."GET OUT OF THIS ROOM!" he snarled.

She smiled... "BOOB!" she said, as she left.

''So Olivia...where is the rest of your crew? Your husband, your two Junior Partners?" he asked.

"If you mean my girls...They're right behind you.." she said. Josie and Bresha walked in..

''We found a Judge Liv and an arraignment time of 10:30 am tomorrow morning."said Josie.

''Donnie Ray got the Autopsy Reports and the Crime Scene Photos and Report...He said he'll see you at home.."said Bresha

Speaking of me...

"Did you hear that? We got you covered...Say Nothing to no one about your case...Sit tight..Tomorrow we are going to try and get you out of here." said Olivia to Arkady..

"Okay Ms. Olivia, whatever you say." said Arkady...

He was handcuffed and taken back to his cell..

Olivia, Beverly, Nelson, Josie and Bresha quietly filed out..

Arkady's wife stuck her tongue out and said..

"BOOB!"

Lt. Tragg was furious! as he watched them all leave.

"WHY DID THEY HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN MY CASE....EVERYTIME I ARREST SOMEBODY...HERE THEY COME!!! DAMN IT...I'M  SICK OF IT!!" he fumed and kicked over trash cans as uniformed officers looked on.

I was halfway across the city at our client's Fish Market, looking around.
