It was that rare night that Ms. Yvette and her husband Gary were on what we call a date date...Out at a fancy restaurant...Just the two of them, none of the rest of the gang... Ms. Yvette had taken a little time off form work , she deserved it...

Jessica Sanchez-Burrows, her husband, Chip Burrows and Matthew Akes..

While Sofia was working down the street from us at the Women's Law Center

with Nina Rios and her husband, Carlos and Lee Akes..

My main man Kahlil was working with Dabnis and his crew... It was a "regular Boys Club" he said...

working with Dabnis, Ray, Tyrell, Paris and Tony....

I had the pleasure of working with Jazzy and her team of Kayla, Renee and Zoey, who I shared with my man Lem...

After those cases were done...The four of us were reunited for the first time in weeks by working with the Wrongful Conviction/Conviction Integrity group... Ms. Karen, Natalie, Brookie, David and Sean...

While in our office ,Ms. Virginia was being kept company by Jetty, who loved that everyone was out of the office....

Judge Elise Cummings was having a contentious meeting with three men...Deputy D.A. Lester Burke..

He didn't want to be here tonight....but he had been called here by Assistant District Attorney

Lucas Fuentes, who he regarded as a royal pain in the ass on most days had brought some serious charges against Judge Elise Cummings, an activist Judge who had ruffled the feathers of more than one ADA..

"Seven Years ago you and I had a conversation in this very restaurant in which you laid out my path to Judgeship....You told me which Judges were soft and which Judges might take a bribe...I used that blueprint that we talked about and I became a Judge." said Judge Lawrence Pratt, who had recently been indicted for Fraud and was being threatened with being removed from the bench, disbarment and jail time.

"Oh My God! Are you kidding me? That was an off the record ,private conversation....I had no idea you took me seriously....What are you trying to do?" asked Judge Elise Cummings...

"These are serious charges he is making Elise..." said Lucas Fuentes...

"You piece of shit...This isn't the first time you've slung mud at someone to hide your misdeeds or to lead you to a higher position.... He's trading you false and bogus information, trying to save himself..."said Elise..

"I'm tending to agree...A 7 year old conversation is no excuse for what you've done Judge Pratt...That conversation whether it happened or not is hearsay, gossip.. I see no grounds to hold Judge Cummings

liable or responsible for what she may or may not have said during restaurant conversation 7 years ago." said Deputy District Attorney Lester Burke.

''Well Maybe you don't...but I'm going to go over your head...Talk to D.A. Garcetti about this..See how he feels." said Lucas Fuentes..

"You don't have a strong enough case against him do you? That's why you're trying to draw me into this mess...." said Elise.

While that was going on... Gary had paid the bill and he and Yvette were leaving..

A Man in his early 50's was slumped over a desk... He had been missing for two days....A wellness check revealed the body of Judge Lawrence Pratt , who was close to being indicted for fraud.

He had last been seen three nights before in Bottom Of The C. Restaurant.

"He's been dead for about two days...Rigor has set in...He's as stiff as a board."said Deputy Coroner, Dr. Marcy Martin.

"Look at his lips...They're blue....and smell that almond like smell? That's Cyanide...."said Dr.Hazel Baylor, Deputy Coroner.

She sniffed the drink he had been drinking....

"It's laced with Cyanide...This was either suicide or murder " she said.

She was glad neither Lt. Tragg nor any of his detectives were on the scene.

"Let's get him out of here and to the lab for a thorough investigation." said Hazel.

As Judge Pratt's Body was lifted up and put in a body bag and strapped to a gurney.

"Bottle that tea....I want to analyze this." said Dr. Baylor.

And at our building...Everything was back to normal...

Both Ms. Yvette and Ms. Jade were back from vacation...

"I was working with the Innocence Project on a case with Jessica Sanchez-Burrows, her husband, Chip Burrows and Matthew Akes.."said Bee Bee.

"I was working at the Women's Law Center with Lee, Nina and Carlos." said Sofia.

" I was working with Dabnis, Ray, Tony, Paris and Tyrell." said Kahlil.

''And then the four of us all worked a case with Karen, Brooke, Natalie, David and Sean of Wrongful Conviction/Conviction Integrity." said Bee Bee.

"So you all were pretty busy while I was gone."laughed Yvette, proud that we were so in demand and useful to the other attorneys in the building.

"I'd see them in the morning...On the Train and at breakfast and I might not see them again the entire day."laughed Virginia, holding the fort down at our office.

"You got good kids Yvette." said Jetty...

"Yvette it's nice seeing you again...We missed you."said Jazzy...

''She lives down the street from us...It's not like she was out of town.."laughed Dabnis.

"Just taking a couple of days off...She earned it..." laughed Kayla.

"Your staff picked up the slack."laughed Ray...

"They surely did! Bee Bee was such a help."said Jessica.

''She certainly was." said Chip.

"And they all helped us out."said Karen.

''Yeah, it was really fun working with them and not against them." said Natalie, who remembered how they met us....In a court case in which she and Brooke were opposing counsel.

"Once again, I was able to learn a lot." said David.

"It was fun...We all bought lunches and ate on the roof some days." said Brooke.

"Yeah much fun." said Sean.

"Keith is used to working with beautiful women, but he really liked working with us...We spoiled him."said Zoey.

"Yeah, I was getting kinda jealous." joked Lem, used to being the only male in Jazzy's group.

"That's okay Bee Bee, He behaved himself." joked Renee.

"Kahlil was a bowl of laughs the week we worked with him." said Tyrell.

"Yeah , he fit right in with us guys." said Paris.

"It was like a frathouse.."laughed Tony...

"I'll bet it was." laughed Yvette.

"We really loved Sofia.." said Lee..

Matthew smiled, thinking about shapely both Bee Bee and Sofia were and how lucky Kahlil and I were to have them...He looked at his own wife, Lee...He was lucky too!

At the Apartment Complex where Judge Elise Cummings lives...

Accompanied by a tactical squad...

Lt. Tragg and

Assistant District Attorney Lucas Fuentes arrested Judge Elise Cummings and charged her with

the Murder of Judge Lawrence Pratt, who was found dead in his apartment from Tea laced with Cyanide.. His death was ruled suspicious, then upgraded to suicide and then murder one.

"This is a travesty.....I had absolutely nothing to do with the death of Judge Pratt....This is all part of a campaign by Assistant District Attorney Lucas Fuentes to score points for himself in his campaign to

run for a Judges seat... He is both inept and corrupt." she said, addressing the press as she was lead out of her apartment in handcuffs..

"Not another word out of you." said Lt. Tragg as he hustled her into a police car.

The Reporters snapped photos and continued to ask questions...

The next morning, We had a guest in our conference room... Attorney Alexa Pratt, from our main office..

"Hi Guys....I have a request from Olivia...She and her team are out of town...They're in D.C. this week..

She got a call from Judge Elise Cummings, who has been arrested and charged with murder....She said to ask if you guys can represent her..."said Alexa.

''Why sure...I like Elise..She's a good Judge....I can't believe she's in trouble again." said Yvette with a smile, remembering Elise being on picket lines for different causes....In the past few years she hadn't been doing that...instead concentrating on being a good judge...Which she was.

"ADA Lucas Fuentes has a hard on for her...He got Lt. Tragg all juiced up to arrest her when they found Judge Larry Pratt dead, apparently he'd been poisoned..You see Judge Pratt had claimed before he died that a conversation he had with Judge Cummings 7 years ago in a bar lead to him bribing certain people..People who gave him a leg up in getting nominated and appointed Common Pleas Judge.. There wasn't a bit of proof of any of this or that such a conversation took place." said Alexa.

'Well even if it did..It was just a conversation...Hearsay...No proof that she did anything wrong..She Certainly didn't benefit from it." I said.

"I know, Lucas Fuentes is trying to make this a bigger thing than it is...It's all for show."said Alexa.

"He's a royal pain.." said Bee Bee.

"Exactly...remember how he sold Brooke down the river and she used to work for him...His own man, Bull Bailey had planted evidence and he acted like he knew nothing about nothing."said Sofia.

"It cost him the D.A.'s race." said Kahlil.

"He's still trying to wear off the Stench of the Thompson case where his second chair hid evidence and tampered with the jury..."said Yvette.

"Of course He knew nothing about that." said Jade, laughing....

"Just like Bee Bee said. He's a Royal Pain...Well we are going to stop him once again..Ladies, look up some night court dates..Guys...you know what to do." said Yvette.
