We were hard at work on Curtis Sellers case...Bee Bee and Sofia were busy doing research on the case, studying Autopsy reports and Photos , studying witness statements, researching laws pertaining to this case...laws in similar cases and all predicates.

"Wow!  This is tedious work, but for now I'm glad to be back in my building working." said Bee Bee.

"I'm glad to be back too Bee...How bout we go shopping tonight after work in our neighborhood shopping center."said Sofia.

"That's a good idea...We can grab Jessica and Chip and our husbands and all hang out at the bar there."said Bee Bee.

''Works for me."said Sofia, smiling.

A room away, Kahlil and I were busy looking at Bayside jurors in the jury pool and picking the jurors we wanted.

"They have a lot of young people in their jury pool...a lot of new voters." said Kahlil...

"Yeah let's research their education, their voting records, their economic standard...all of that factors in on the jurors we want...." I said.

In Yvette's Office...She and Virginia got some good news for a change..

"Yvette, who is the Judge on your case? I'm familliar with a lot of Judges in Bayside..."said Jetty, Virginia's husband and a Judge at the Legal Ethics Board downstairs from us.

"His name is Malcolm Fortune.."said Yvette..

"OHHHHHHHHH MALCOLM!! HE'S A FRIEND OF MINE!!! WE OFTEN PLAY GOLF SOMETIMES!" laughed Jetty.... "I'm gonna give him a call...talk to him about lowering that bail amount.." said Jetty..

The entire time he was talking to Yvette, his hand was under his wife, Virginia's dress, rubbing her legs and smoothly rubbing her butt.

Virginia squirmed and removed his hands.....

B.L. Benz, Attorney, Podcaster and host of the TV news show-"HARD BOTTOM"walked into our office.

"Hi Yvette, Hi Jetty, Virginia...Karen told me about this . I ran a story about the Curtis Sellers case yesterday on "HARD BOTTOM" and the extraordinarily high bail for a first time offender with no priors...and our views were incensed...They sent in money...a lot of money... Here is a check for 1 million dollars...Use it for his bail."said B.L.

"OH MY GOD!!!" said Yvette , her eyes getting as large as saucers..."THANK YOU ,THANK YOU SO MUCH B.L." said Yvette.

"Oh honey...See? Things are breaking your way after all." said Virginia, hugging Yvette.

Jade was in Bayside at the Morgue looking at the body of Abby Lewis Stall...She had 15 stab wounds...Deep stab wounds....From the wounds she knew as a homicide detective there was a lot of blood...

And yet at the riverfront ,where the body was found, there was not a lot of blood ,leaving her to think that the woman had been killed elsewhere.

She went to the home of Deputy District Attorney Corado Stall..  She couldn't believe that as her husband, he wasn't the first suspect...

The House was eerily silent....Deputy District Attorney Corado Stall hadn't lived at the house since before the incident...He was staying at a loft he owned in the middle of town.

Jade used Luminol, given to her by her husband, Lt. Danny Ho...

The Luminol revealed blood splatter on the ceiling and on the wall 

on the ceiling and in the hallway...

There was a smell of bleach everywhere...A strong smell of bleach...

There were no bedsheets or pillowcases on the bed.....but a huge blood spot on the bed brought out by the luminol...

Jade snapped photos of the living room and the bedroom and the luminol spots in them

She sent the photos to Yvette in Philadelphia..

She was beginning to suspect someone else as the real killer!

Meanwhile back at home in Philadelphia

in our cafeteria..

"We heard your good news today Vettie." said Jazzy.

"Yes....I got a big check ,courtesy of B.L.'s TV network and Jetty knows the Judge and called him and hopefully at the Bail hearing tomorrow...The Judge may eventually grant us reasonable bail and we can get Curtis out of jail.."said Yvette.
 

"So Happy for you girlie..." said Dabnis...

"Wait til I tell Olivia, she's going to be jumping for joy and dancing."said Kayla.

"This is great news....Even if the Judge doesn't agree...You have enough money to make bail..." said Ray....

"Jetty called the Judge...He wasn't in today...but he's going to call him tomorrow, while you're on your way..." said Virginia.

"He's Going to be there tomorrow....I don't know where he was today." said Jetty.

"Vettie, if you need any extra assistance...Chip, Matthew and I are available." said Jessica.

"Yes...we've been following this case....No DNA ,No fingerprints at the scene and no witnesses who can place him at the scene....I don't understand why he was even arrested..." said Chip.

"We know why....A Black man too close to a white woman...No Offense to my white friends here."said Yvette.

"No Offense taken, you're absolutely right.."said Karen..

"B.L. thank you so much for all you did.." said Yvette...

"Oh you are so welcome.....And of course I want the exclusive after this case is over."laughed B.L.

"You got it."laughed Yvette.

"Natalie, would you and Brooke like to join Sofia , Jessica and me and our husbands in the shopping center after work...and then retreat to the bar there for food and drinks?" asked Bee Bee.

"Yeah, it would be relaxing.."said Sofia.

"Ask no more...We are there..Is that alright with you honey bunny?" asked Natalie.

"Of course, it's different!" said David.

"Sounds like a plan." said Brooke.

"I'm down." said Sean...

''So you guys going with Vettie to the bond hearing tomorrow?" asked Zoey.

"Yeah, we all are going." I said.

"Jade still in Bayside?" asked Lem.

" Yeah...She's coming in late."said Kahlil.

"Wow..she does good work for you guys." said Renee.

''An Investigator is an attorney's best friend."said Tyrell.

"For Sure...Especially investigators like Donnie Ray and Jade...They were both Homicide Detectives at one time." said Paris.

"Meaning they know how to run an investigation."said Tony.

"Exactly!" said Lee.

"Well I wish you guys good luck and like Jessica said.. The Innocence Project is at your service if you need additional help." said Matthew...

''We are grateful for you all." said Yvette.

"We really are." I said.

"Yes, thank you all for being our friends as well as colleagues...." said Bee Bee.

''And cool neighbors as well." said Sofia.

"For sure!" added Kahlil.

"Go Get em guys." said Nina.

"I wish I was going to Bayside with you." said Carlos.

She was a big time Attorney once, commanded huge salaries...Then she got herself in trouble...Disbarred and sent to prison...Shame, such a brilliant Attorney...I heard she got paroled a few years ago....So she works for you huh?  And Jetty scooped her up....WOWW!  That's nice."said Judge Malcolm Fortune..

"Yes he did!"said Yvette laughing seductively....

"You're a cutey pie....I noticed you the other day in court...ARE YOU MARRIED?" he asked.

"Happily!  Several years now!" said Ms. Yvette...

"I'll make the call...You can pick your client up at County Lock Up."said the Judge.

"Thank you your honor."said Ms. Yvette.

"Ms. Yvette worked her magic...We got him out!" I said.

"It helps that she's a good looking woman...Most of these old judges are horn dogs anyway."said Bee Bee.

''I saw how he was looking at her ,practically salivating...What you said is so true Bee Bee..Remember that beast that was after me that time?" said Sofia.

"Who can forget him? I wanted to kill him." said Kahlil.

Jade had told Yvette her findings and had shown her the photos from yesterday at 5:26pm.

"I have enough to get Sylvia tossed from this case and maybe in serious trouble...but I'm not going to do it..She's had enough trouble...No I want to beat her fair and square...Let's go and get Curtis." said Yvette.

A Little while later at the County Lock up..

A very surprised Curtis Sellers walked out of jail...He smiled when he saw us..

"You Guys....You Guys are the truth....You actually got me out...WOWWWW!!!" he said. 

 "I told you we weren't going to give up on you....Welcome out! " said Ms. Yvette..

"We are going to go to get something to eat...and then get you set up in a hotel under your own name.."I said.

"You're out on bail...but it would be a good idea, not to leave Bayside..."said Bee Bee.

"Just keep a low profile papi..."said Sofia.

"We haven't stopped working on your case.."said Kahlil.

"And I've discovered some things that will surely get you acquitted.."said Jade.

"I'm grateful to you all." said Curtis Sellers.

"Now let's go get something to eat."said Yvette. It was ironically 5:26 pm.

We ironically went to the same restaurant we always ate at with our friends in Bayside...

"It sure feels good being out of jail and eating in a restaurant...a real restaurant."said Curtis Sellers. 

 "We come here with our friends on the weekends.....The girls go shopping in the shopping center and the guys hang out here , watch sports and have drinks and eat dinner with us when we return."said Yvette.

"I wish they were all here now."I said.

"When we get you off...Maybe you'll hang out with our entire group."said Bee Bee.

"Yeah I'd like that."said Curtis Sellers.

"Look, Over there!" said Sofia.

"Welllll look who it is." said Kahlil....

"I told you...I told you..."said Jade.

We had been spotted too!

"OH MY GOD!!! IT'S YVETTE, Keith Jones, Beatrice Evans-Jones, Sofia Garcia-Ahmed,Kahlil Ahmed and their investigator ,Jade something or other and they've got Curtis Sellers with them...They made bail...but how? That bail was 1.5 million...How did they raise that kind of money in three days?" exclaimed Sylvia incredulously...

"I don't know, but they've got him out....That's not good and they've seen us together...Also not good..

I'm slipping out the side door...You wait a few minutes and then you slip out."said Corado ,who seemed 

genuinely rocked by seeing us.

Sylvia looked at him from a different light...WHAT KIND OF A MAN WAS SHE DEALING WITH?
