Maximum Relaxation.

 It was a nice Sunny Saturday..

Our two buses and our catering van pulled off around 10:00 PM  Friday Night after we finished drinking at No I.D. Bar.. we all packed the night before and loaded the buses this morning before anybody went to work...We loaded up the buses during the morning...So No One would have to come back home and then Olivia, Beverly, Nelson, Josie, Bresha and Alfreda and I met everyone else at No I.D. after work...

we all hung out and drank there .We were all packed up and ready to file out.. We all slept well on the ride down...

We got there at 12:15 AM.... Nelson's Beach House...Given to him by his Uncle, Fathead Newton had ten rooms..Ten Rooms with thick walls , where we could have privacy...Everybody loved that...We set our rooms up Friday Night..

"My Uncle gave me this place shortly after I graduated Law school and passed the bar... He said it would be a great place to bring your friends...but I didn't have a whole lot of friends...Just you Liv, Beverly and Jazzy...and I wanted to invite you guys...but, I never got the nerve to do so..."said Nelson.

''Awwwwwww Bev and I would have come.. There were enough rooms we would have all had a room to ourselves... You guys weren't dating yet...but it would have been a nice time."said Olivia.

''Well now you've got more friends than this house can hold." I said smiling.

"You and I came down here alone one weekend when we first started dating....And I was so scared...This house was so big...so empty...It echoed.."said Beverly, remembering..

"It doesn't echo now...We've filled  every room.."said Nelson.

"This place is beautiful Nelson...Thank you for inviting us again.."said Josie..

"Our first time here as husband and wife."said Paris.

It was Bresha and Tony's first time here...

"This is soooooooooo nice."said Bresha.

"You got with the right law firm baby girl.. Black Run, Black female run, Your boss owns a Bus company and a Catering outfit and Nelson owns this summer house. And to top it off they're mad cool people...You can't get no better than this."said her husband, Tony, who liked us from the start.

Alfreda and Rockland's too....

"Nelson has a great place here....I love it!"said Alfreda..

"I love that the walls are thick and we can make as much noise as we want...We have complete privacy, especially where our room is..."said Rockland..

"My goodness, you think about sex around the clock!" sighed Alfreda.

It was Yvette and her crews third time here.. They went to the same rooms they had had before..

"I love it...."said Yvette, bouncing on the bed..

"Ummmmmmm, I love it too!" said Gary...

Kissing her passionately.....

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, let's get unpacked..." said Yvette...

"This is our same room , we had the last time we were here."said Keith Jones..

''Such a nice house."said Bee Bee.

"This is what we all needed, Maximum Relaxation..."said Sofia..

"Nelson said we can all come back down here on Memorial Day."said Kahlil.

"Our first time here as man and wife, Nice huh?" said Danny Ho.

"Yes....It was nice that you could take Monday off too!" said Jade.

It was Virginia and Jetty's first time here..They were quite impressed...

"This place is gorgeous...Nelson's Uncle left this to him when he passed the bar....Wowwwww!"said Virginia.

"Nelson's Uncle was one the city's most notorious gangsters that never got caught...Fathead Newton....He's one of the lucky ones... He got out of the game..Moved out of the country...But I agree, this is a nice place."said Jetty.

It Had a Kitchen and Dining room

And a Public Area.....

Right Next door was another Beachfront house that our other friends rented for the weekend..

''We were lucky to be able to rent this Beachfront house right next door...Nelson told us to hold reservations for Memorial Day Weekend..." said Jazzy...

"Cooool, this is a great place to hang out and relax and it's right near the beach.."said Dabnis..

Jazzy and Ray were next door, they walked over to Jazzy's room..

"Nice huh?  We were lucky to get a place next door to the others..."said Kayla.

"We brought decks of playing cards for tomorrow too!"said Ray...

"We brought plenty of Beer..."said Jessica , who with Chip ws on the other side of them...

"Liv said Breakfast is tomorrow at their place for all of us...

"This is sooooooo nice.."said Brooke, here for the first time with her husband, Sean..

"Mannnnnnnn, I love this..."said her husband, Sean..

Natalie was sooo happy to be reunited with her girlfriends, Beverly, Kayla and Jazzy, to be on a couples retreat of sorts with her new husband, David and to have some time off...

David was happy to be anywhere with Natalie...

Zoey and Lem had been here before..

"This is soo nice and I soooo needed a break from the city..."said Zoey...

"Wow....This is great...Let's unpack!" said Lem , who was amazed by the entire trip.

"This is what we needed...Maximum Relaxation..."said Karen Page.. She and her boyfriend, 

B.L. were the only couple that wasn't married out of all the couples here....

"Yes..Maximum Relaxation....." said B.L.

Nightfall came..  In every room in both Beachfront Houses...with no exception...

There was moaning and kissing.....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, it's so damn GOOOOOOOOD!"

The sounds of 17 couples...17 loving couples making sweet love for hours!

Breakfast was served the next morning...

Our living room was big enough to accommodate our entire group..

"I hope everyone got a good night's sleep." said Olivia..

''Don't worry, we don't have any activities planned for today." I said...

Everybody laughed!

"This is so nice...I didn't think we'd be able to put this together on such short notice.."said Beverly...

"It was easy....This is not a holiday weekend..All it took was a phone call..."said Nelson... "I called ahead of time for Memorial Day Weekend...It will be warmer and we can all get in the water."said Nelson.

"That's what up Nelson..." said Josie..

"Josie bought some swim suits from Faith Grudin's spot and I for one am anxious to see her in them."said Paris.

"Ouuuuuuuuu listen at Paris..."laughed Bresha..

"You bought some bathing suits too!" laughed her husband, Tony.

"It's a little cooler today...Guess I'll model them for you in the room."said Alfreda.

"That's finnnne with me."laughed Rockland slyly....

Gary grabbed his wife, Yvette and hugged her ...

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu......ummmmmmmmm aren't you randy today!" Yvette said..

Gary smiled.....

Bee Bee sat on her husband ,Keith's lap.....

He held her tight....

''Did anybody bring cards?...I'm down for a game of Spades..." said Sofia.

"Kayla and Ray brought them.." said Kahlil...

Jade laid her head on her husband's shoulders....

Danny hugged her....

"Let's get some music playing." said Jazzy...

"Coming up.."said her husband, Dabnis..

He hooked up Alexa... I programmed a mixture of Classic R&B/Soul, Classic Hip Hop, Neo Soul and 

Smooth Jazz to it...Something for everyone..

"I got cards...Who's down for Spades?" said Kayla..

Her husband Ray set up tables and produced cards..

Some of us broke into partners and several card games broke out...

''Ouuuuuuuuuu I'm ready to rub somebody's head.. Don't you say anything smarty"laughed Jessica...

Chip just laughed...

Jessica and Chip made sure we had plenty to drink...Beers and Cokes on Ice.

Zoey was playing..

Her husband, Lem was not playing...He was sitting back enjoying a beer and just enjoying being amongst all of us...

Karen wasn't playing either...She was sitting on her boyfriend's lap, enjoying a sandwich and a beer...

B.L. was holding Karen tight...

Sean and Brooke and Natalie were playing...

Natalie was the old Natalie, trash talking and joking...Making everyone laugh, also playing..

Her husband, David wasn't playing...Natalie was sitting on his lap, smiling at him and occassionally asking him to pass her a sandwich and or a beer...

There was plenty of food, sandwiches and pasta for eating...

III-

One person who's name was not brought up at all was Lt. Tragg....  He had survived an Internal Affairs 

Advisory Board Meeting...but they had recommended strongly that he be off the streets for 45 days on the Marine Boat..He was livid..

Not at us but at Attorney and Special Prosecutor, Susan Waters, angry that she had lost a case, went on Television and publically lambasted him and then went on HARD BOTTOM and further eviscerated him... 

He didn't expect to see any of us Attorneys eating in Sam Mothers

or Curleys...

He drove down our blocks..

It didn't look like any of us was home... His anger at us was superceded by the anger he had for Susan Waters...

He drove by ADA Karen Page's Apartment complex.....He wasn't angry at her....but he was really angry at her boyfriend and former friend, B.L. Benz...for doing what he called a "Media Hit Job" on him by having Susan Waters on his show, venting about how it was HIS FAULT she lost  her case and having her bring up a case she had nothing to do with....Embarrassing enough his own detectives arrested a man responsible for both murders in both cases...This shined a negative light on him and got him dragged before the I.A.D. Advisory board.

His F.O.P. Attorney, Louis Brown, saved his bacon once again..

This was his last free weekend for 45 days....

Monday, he had to report to that Marine Boat... for 45 Days...It could have been worse...It could have been 60 days...They cut some days off.

Monday.....The Boat....He hated being on that damn boat!

IV-

SUNDAY-

The Next Day we went Next door and surprised Olivia, Beverly and Kayla with Birthday Cakes for all three of them-

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!" I said, squeezing her...

"Oh My Goddd! Thank You...Thank You Allll , Oh My God!"said Olivia, with tears welling up in her eyes as I hugged her and squeezed her.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY BUN!" said Nelson...

"OH MY GODDDD!!! THANK YOU..THANK YOU SO MUCH!"said Beverly ,who got very emotional.....and was crying profusely...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BENNETT WOMAN!!"said Ray....

"OUUUUUUUUUUU THANK YOU!!"said Kayla..

"Happy Birthday to my three baby girls."said Alfreda.,hugging all of them...She'd known Olivia since she was six , was Beverly's mother and considered Kayla, her niece....

"Happy Birthday girls..."said Rockland...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEST FRIEND IN THIS WHOLE WIDE WORLD, WHO IS LIKE A SISTER TO ME AND TO TWO GIRLS WHO ARE MY ADOPTED NIECES...HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA, BEVERLY AND KAYLA!" said Yvette.

"Happy Birthday Girls."said Gary...

"Liv, you're like my second mama...Bev, Kayla...you're my sisters....Happy Birthday."said Jazzy, who was in tears...

"Bev, Kayla, you're my sisters too!...We've known each other sooooo long...I'm so glad to be reunited with you guys.....Happy Birthday...And Olivia...You've been soooo good to me..I love you madly...Happy Birthday."said Natalie..

"Olivia, Beverly....Thank you...Thank you for making me feel welcome, for taking me and Nat and David under your wings..."said Brooke.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA, BEVERLY AND KAYLA, MAY YOU BE BLESSED WITH MANY MORE!"said her husband, Sean...

"LIV, BEV, KAYLA...GOD BLESS YOU!!! YOU KNOW YOU'RE MY GIRLS FOR LIFE!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"said Dabnis..

"OLIVIA,BEVERLY, THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME IN, FOR EDUCATING ME!! KAYLA, THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" said  David.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE LIV, COUSIN BEV, COUSIN KAYLA!"said Bee Bee.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE LIV, COUSIN BEV, COUSIN KAYLA!"said Keith Jones

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIV, BEVERLY ,KAYLA!" said Jessica...

"Happy Birthday Ladies." said Chip.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS.,YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU ALL!"said Zoey...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LADIES"said Lem..

"OLIVIA, I LOVE YOU....YOU KNOW THAT!!! SAME GOES FOR YOU BEVERLY AND KAYLA...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"said Virginia...

"TO PARAPHRASE MY MAN RAY..HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENNETT WOMEN, MAY YOU CONTINUE TO KEEP THINGS POPPIN!" said Jetty...

Olivia, Beverly and Kayla burst into laughter at that!

"Olivia , you and Yvette met a white girl without too many friends , who happened to live across the hall from you in Law school and became her friend...Her life long friend....I'll always love you and Beverly and Kayla...Happy Birthday!" said Karen Page.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE THREE OF YOU...from your biggest fan.." said B.L.Benz...

They all sang Happy Birthday...and played Stevie Wonder on Alexa.

There was a photo of her and her girlfriend... She was accepting an Award from the Philadelphia LGBTQ Legal Defense fund....Attorney of the year....
