Different Weekends

SATURDAY- The No ID BAR!  BRUNCH
 

"The Kids take issue with the fact that except for the juke box there is no music in here...but you gotta admit...The food is great."said Olivia.

"It is...I can't argue that....And even when we come in here to drink....The drinks are a reasonable price...I do prefer Josies, for the live music and entertainment...but this is a great cool out spot for the weekend or some afternoons after work."agreed Olivia's husband, Donnie Ray.

"Yeah you're right...We have Aqua Bar, Stoleys and Josie's for music entertainment and dancing." said Beverly.

''And don't forget...Josie's has a nice brunch on Sundays too!" said Nelson.

"They do....I think it's cool we change it up...It's so many of us now..."said Josie...

"I know...I remember when it was just us six...Liv and Donnie Ray, Beverly and Nelson and  Me and You..."said Paris..

"Well  I like the variety...It's just enough folks, that I don't get lost in the sauce.."said Bresha..

''Comfort comes in numbers." agreed Tony.

''And by moving around, we avoid you know who." said Alfreda.

''Don't bring him up." said Rockland.

''Please don't...We dodged a bullet last night...I was shocked when he walked in there.. Thank God, he didn't stay long." said Gary,.

"Maybe that's what we should do...Hold the phone up and threaten to make that call."said Ms. Yvette.

''Yeah but we shouldn't have to do that...Maybe we should fix him up with somebody...A girl to take his mind off of whatever ails him."said Bee Bee.

"He's already seeing somebody isn't he? One of the ADA's  Jill Jones right?" asked Keith Jones.

"He was...but he just goes from woman to woman...You see how handsy he is in court...I hope I never sit near him."said Sofia.

"I hope you don't either."laughed Kahlil.

"I remember when it was just our group and Olivia's group...Our circle of friends has grown wider." said Jade.

Danny looked around.. "It sure has." he said.

"I remember how welcome you guys made me feel...I was astounded that you all lived on the same block...Now look at me.. I live on the block with you." said Virginia.

"I knew somehow we'd all be together." said Jetty.

''And us, a few blocks down from you.. Imagine that." said Zoey...

''Amazing isn't it?" said  Lem...

"I love the weekends Liv let's us stay with her and Bev...Yvette comes over and it's almost like law school all over again..We geek out."said Karen..

"I'm trying to imagine you three in law school.."laughed B.L.

"I remember them... Bev and I used to spend the weekend in Liv and Ms. Yvette's room...We'd bring Sleeping bags and Pillows and have like a girls weekend...Remember that Bev?" asked Kayla.

"Those were some good times.. Just us girls hanging out, eating Pizza, Popcorn, drinking sodas in our underwear...."laughed Beverly..

"Those were good times, weren't they Vettie?" asked Olivia.

"Oh the best.... I've always felt like Bev and Kayla are my nieces too!"said Yvette, hugging both girls..

"You know you're our honorary Auntie Ms. Yvette."said Kayla.

"Yeah." said Beverly.

Gary sat in awe imagining, Olivia, Beverly, his wife, Kayla, Yvette and Karen in their underwear in a college dorm room all in one night... It was the stuff fantasies were made of..

"That was much like me, you Beverly, Kayla and Natalie when we were all in Temple.."said Jazzy...

"LAWWWWWD!" said Dabnis, laughing out loud at the thought of these four fine women in their underwear ,hanging out in their dorm rooms...

"I sure wish you had gone to PENN with the three of us Nat."said Beverly...

"I know...I missed you guys terribly...We had been together since 9th Grade."said Natalie, who went to Georgetown for Law School in D.C.

"It was always like the fourth Musketeer was missing..It was just the three of us." said Jazzy.

''And then just two when I got a job in Atlanta...Though we did hook up once in Atlanta Nat, remember?" said Kayla.

"That weekend was sooo much fun...SHHHHHHHH..we don't wanna talk about that here." joked Natalie..

Jessica laughed... She envied them their closeness..., just like she sometimes envied Keith, Bee Bee, Sofia and Kahlil's long association... 

She didn't have any close girlfriends or a crew most of her life until she hooked up with this group and moved into this neighborhood... And now, living in this neighborhood and working in the same building with all of these people was like heaven for her. She loved it and all of them.

Chip, like Ray and Dabnis was soaking it all in and just imagining what it was like..

''We had a nice night last night...Didn't we boo?" asked Natalie ,turning to her husband, David..

"Yeah that was a really nice place...We had a nice night afterwords too...Come sit in my lap..."said David.

Natalie sat in his lap and snuggled with him..She kissed him on the cheek.She felt safe and warm in his arms, with him...

"I hope you girls have a great time today , shopping.."said Sean...

"You'll have a good time with the guys, watching the games... Plus we went to Atlantic and ordered a load of sandwiches  for you guys.... Just don't eat ours...Our names are on them.." laughed Brooke.

Brunch was terrific!  The safety and anonymity of the No ID Bar was even better..

Halfway across the city at Sam Mother's diner...

Lt. Tragg was having his usual...

Lt. Tragg looked around... The place was devoid of his usual sparring partners, the lawyers...He appeared to be obsessed with them... Their appearences in Sam Mothers was few and far in between...

It was very rare now of days...The thought that he was responsible went completely over his head.

He had no idea that the majority of them no longer worked in the area, that the majority of them all worked far away in the safety and security of the Bridge Building..

And that they had everything they needed there and more.

A Modern Cafeteria in which they ate three good hot meals a day.

and a gym....

They all lived on the same block and close to each other...No doubt they all communicated with one another and were eating somewhere else on a regular basis...but where?? 

II-

Everybody loaded up in the buses and headed off to Bayside...

The Guys got off the buses and filed into the hall.....where they had a whole section reserved for them...

''We are here just in the nick of time...The games are just getting underway."said Donnie Ray..

"Gotta love March Madness."said Gary...

Nelson and Paris were comparing Brackets while munching on Cheese Steaks..

"I never win, there is always an upset that knocks off my whole bracket." said Paris.

"Same here Man.."said Tony..

"I lose all the time...I don't even do brackets anymore, I just watch the games, looking for prospects..I'm more an NBA Guy myself."said Rockland.

''So Am I...but I got a Bracket.."said Keith Jones.

''Me too!"said Kahlil.

"I used to didn't get into College Basketball until the final four, but this year there have been some good match ups."said Dabnis.

"I told you...Look at my Brackets."said Ray.

Neither Chip Nor Danny had any brackets...They were just enjoying the games and glad not to be talking about the law or an upcoming trial or Lt. Tragg for a change...He was the farthest thing from their minds.

"I'm Like Dabnis..I used to didn't get into College Basketball until the final four, but this year there have been some good match ups. Still ,I don't need the stress of Brackets."said Lem..

"I hear ya."said Jetty..

"Hey Jetty are you Judging Ms. Panties this year?" asked Sean.

"WHATTTTTTT? YOU JUDGE MS. PANTIES??" asked David.

"He's been a judge the past few years."laughed B.L.

"Nah, I've retired from that.....I've got my own "Ms. Panties" who looks pretty good in damn near anything as does every guy here." said Jetty...

Everyone agreed....They all were married to gorgeous and sexy women.

They were watching the many basketball games on television ,eating their own food.. They had wrapped sandwiches from Atlantic Sandwich Shop, Hoagies, Cheese Steaks 

 

and Guava Punch and

Hot Dogs from Jakes......enough from everybody...

and ordering much beer...

The girls traveled on one bus to the Shopping Mall..

The Beautiful Bayside Mall, recently opened had all of the stand alone stores and outlets you could ask for.. the girls were stunned and amazed...

"Oh My God, this place is gorgeous..."said Olivia...

"Look at that pretty water they pump through here...I love this place."said Yvette, who like Olivia pulled out her phone and snapped photos of the mall.

Karen did the same thing with her phone and placed it on her Facebook page.

"Oh My Godd!! this place is beautiful...I bet this cost them a mint to build. Look at that beautiful water flowing in between it."said Zoey...

"I knowwwww right?  Come on Jazmataz...you said you wanted to look at shoes...I do too."said Beverly..

"Kayla... grab Brookie and Nat and let's go..."said Jazzy..

"You coming with us Josie?" asked Kayla..

"Yupper!" said Josie, who was holding Bresha's hand as though she was her little sister..

Bresha smiled and followed her....

"Here we come." said Natalie...

"Wait Up." said Brooke, who along with Natalie, Joined Beverly, Jazzy, Kayla, Josie and Bresha.

"Let's check out the dress shops...I need some new skirts for work."said Jessica.

"Okay...we'll catch up with the others later.."said Bee Bee.

''Wait up for me."said  Sofia..

"I'm going with you guys."said Jade.

"Come on girlfriend... I read of a dress shop and a shoe shop in here that's to die for."said Alfreda.

"Lead the way" said Virginia, who had developed a close relationship to Alfreda.. They both were office managers of a team of charismatic attorneys.

They split into their seperate groups and went their seperate ways, shopping to their hearts delight.

It was a beautiful afternoon.

III-

SATURDAY AFTERNOON-

Lt. Tragg went to ADA Jill Jones apartment with a fresh bouquet of roses and pancakes, hash browns, sausages and hot coffee,,, She was starving and she needed the coffee..She thought the roses were beautiful..She thought the breakfast was very thoughtful...

She ran some water and put the roses in a vase and she sat down and devoured the  food and the coffee..

Last night was a complete haze... She hadn't seen Lt. Tragg in a couple of months... She hadn't been out all day.. Rare for her on a Saturday...but she had just finished a big case and was tired...

Arthur, thank you for the good food...I needed that.." she said after she finished her meal..

He had that silly pleased as punch look on his face again...She suspected this was a booty call.She didn't care...She was Horny....She hadn't had any in a couple of months.

The First Bus pulled off.. All of the couples, Olivia and Donnie Ray, Beverly and Nelson, Josie and Paris, Bresha and Tony, Alfreda And Rockland, Zoey and Lem and Karen and B.L. were kissing passionately and moaning a bit...

The Bus driver smiled... Bedsprings were going to be squeaking tonight, he thought...

The Bus driver on this bus, just like the bus driver on the last bus smiled... "Bedsprings were going to be squeaking tonight", he thought...

Sam Mother sighed and walked back into the kitchen...Artie just didn't get it...He just didn't understand that people have a right to eat their food in peace and not be hassled....This was the reason his favorite

people...Those very attorneys rarely ate here anymore... He wished Artie would find another place to eat.

Those attorneys were miles away in their section of town at Josie's Bar and Grille...listening to a live band

And enjoying a Super Brunch...

"Olivia, guys and gals...Another great weekend....That rooftop bistro Friday Night...Brunch at No I.D. Bar Saturday Morning, That trip to Bayside to that hall and the shopping trip for you ladies and finishing it off with this super brunch....You couldn't ask for a better weekend..Thank you again and thank you for including us." said B.L.

"Thank you for having us Liv...We've got to invite you guys to something.."said Karen..

"Thank you guys for always being good and true friends."said Olivia.

"Yeah ditto that."said Donnie Ray...

"This is sooooo nice...A Super Brunch..."said Beverly...

"I could sit here the rest of the afternoon and listen to the cool music and eat all of this great food.."said Nelson..

"Yeah, Me too!"said Josie..

"Man....This was a great weekend all the way around."said Paris..

"Shame we gotta go back to work tomorrow."laughed Bresha..

"Hey that's how we afford all of this good stuff."said Tony...

"This is so relaxing...Good Live Music, Good Food..."said Alfreda..

"Yes, after a night of great sex." added Rockland...

"After the way you put it on me last night....I needed this..I'm famished.."said Yvette..

"So Am I..."said Gary...

"This weekend was the bomb!  I look forward to more like this."said Sean...

"Well we go to No I.D. for Brunch practically every Saturday and here to Josie's every Sunday."said Brooke.

"Natalie...I'm in Heaven, I mean being married to you...I never in my wildest dreams thought of that...I have to pinch myself every day and having this huge network of friends..."said David.

"I know...I feel the same way... I feel the same way..."said Natalie..

Giving her husband, a soft kiss... It was a nice weekend for everybody...
