"Everyone involved in this case is impressive... Defense Attorneys , Defendent...I almost hate to be prosecuting this guy." she said to herself.

Some Roses were delivered to her a few minutes later.. There was a card with them... It was from Lt. Tragg.

She got a vase, ran some water and placed the flowers in them...She was angry...Angry she had let her guard down, angry she had slept with him...She was going to let him know how she felt the next time she saw him, which was a few minutes later..

He walked in with a pleased as punch look on his face..

"Lieutenant Tragg , let's set some things straight.. You got lucky Thursday Night, I was tired and hungry, you treated me to a delicious meal and much wine...I was drunk and I dropped my guard and you got your rocks off, you had your fun with me...but that's all it was...one night thing...THAT IS NOT

GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN, GOT IT? In court you will conduct yourself professionally, you will not rub my legs, you will certainly not place your hands up under my skirt or try to palm my butt or just "accidentally" squeeze my boobs as you did during the Arraignment last week... YOU WILL KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF..Now where are we on this case? I want you recanvassing the crime scene..Talking to those Marine Unit guys...I've heard you know them all quite well and go on that boat and his apartment...Talk to Detectives Sam Smith and Sgt. Brice...They were working the case before you..." she said.

Of course Lt. Tragg didn't intend to do any of that...he simply stared balefully at her..

And a world away at our building...

In Ms. Yvette's Office.

"Thank You for sharing this with us Kayla...This could blow our case wide open, point us into a new direction." said Ms. Yvette.

"I couldn't believe what I was hearing and seeing..I've tangled with that Harpie before..I couldn't believe Ms. High and Mighty has been doing a little Freaky Sneaky behind her husband's back."said Kayla.

"Oh I can believe it...High and Mighty Types like her are usually the biggest hypocrites. Thank you again for sharing this with me." said Yvette.

"UMMMM, UMMPH, The Plot Thickens!" laughed Ms. Virginia.

"Doesn't it though?" laughed Ms. Yvette.

In our conference room.

''We had a good time Saturday didn't we?" said Bee Bee as she looked over some juror profiles..

"We sure did...I'm sorry Bev, Josie, Brookie, Natalie,Jazzy and Kayla missed it." I said as I ruffled over some laws and predicates related to this type of case and made some notes..

"Yeah, but their husbands made up platters of food for them..."said Kahlil, who was doing the same thing I was doing with help from his wife, Sofia.

'Well, we'll all be together at the wedding Friday...It's going to be a Candle light wedding." said Sofia.

"I love Candlelight Weddings." said Jade...

Ms. Yvette walked into the conference room..

"Okay people...This case has just taken a turn in a whole nother direction." she said.

II-

TUESDAY-

Kahlil and I continued researching laws and predicates and like cases, pertaining to a Capital Murder case such as this one in our conference room and law library... We were preparing answers to potential challenges that would be made by the prosecutor as Bee Bee and Sofia would do...We all had had extensive training in this in law school , so we were not new to this.

Speaking of my wife and her lifelong friend, Bee Bee and Sofia were in our media room looking at profiles of potential jurors and trying to make decisions on what type of juror we would need..and working on trial strategy...

The four of us sat down in our conference room and looked at Autopsy reports ,the initial and the full and The Crime Scene Reports...

Also working in our conference room this week were ADA Karen Page and Staff Attorney Brooke Marks. Their office downstairs was being remodeled by a construction crew and fellow staff attorneys, Natalie Tennison and David Charles were preparing to be married and off this week.. Natalie was at home and David was staying at Olivia and Beverly's house for the week.

We loved that they were here... They brought food... Grilled Stuffed Italian Sandwiches and Grilled Cubans off of our favorite truck.

They bought enough for everybody....

Out in the lobby area...

A Beautiful Bouquet of Blue Roses had just arrived

And Jetty and his wife, our office manager, Virginia were kissing passionately.....

"You haven't sent me flowers in awhile Jetty, but I really like these..."said Virginia.

"Ummmmmmmmm, show me..." said Jetty, moaning..

"Ummmmmmmmm...I am showing you... As much as I'm gonna , at work....."cooed Ms. Virginia..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" he moaned as they continued kissing.

Also moaning was Socialite, Candace Hamilton and her boyfriend, Attorney Jeremy Tobin.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUU JEREMYYYYYYYYY, UMMMMMMMMM! I'M SO HORNY ,I'M ABOUT TO TAKE ALL OF MY CLOTHES OFF!" she moaned..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH , AHHHHHHHHHHHH! OUUUUUU YOU NAUGHTY GIRL!!!!" he moaned..

They were kissing passionately in a booth in the back of this nearly half empty exclusive club...

He reached under her skirt and slipped her panties down...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHH JEREMYY!!!" she moaned..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHH JEREMYY!!!YOU HAD BETTER PUT THOSE BACK ON HER....IT's PRETTY DRAFTY THIS MORNING ANDDDDD UH ISN'T IT EARLY TO BE DRINKING AND HANGING OUT IN THIS BAR?" asked Ms. Yvette.

Jade snapped a photo of the entire thing.

"YOUUUUUU! YOUR TIMING IS INCREDIBLE!!!" snarled Candace Hamilton

"Never the wrong time to bring you bad news ...I remember you both from before..When you sued me for defamation of charactor, libel and slander...Well now I have something for you Mrs Hamilton... A Subpoena to testify in the trial of Effrom Burke on the charge of murdering Lenny Fischer." said Ms. Yvette.

"What has she got to do with this?? With him?" said her attorney/lover- Jeremy Tobin..

''She can testify that she was with him the day before he died and that she knows he was Gay and she was not having an affair with him is all.. A policeman is probably on his way to your home to question your husband. I have absolutely nothing to do with that."said Yvette.

"If you mean that Jackass ,Lt. Tragg, he's already talked to both of us." said Candace.

"You get really good representation don't you?' asked Jade, smirking.

Yvette smirked... "I'll see you in court."said Ms. Yvette.

Ms. Yvette was at home in her bedroom, on her laptop, studying up on the case at hand... She ironically enough was listening to Jill Scott on Alexa...

She was finishing up... She googled the ADA ,Jill Baranski...She already knew she was the sister, two years younger of Diane "Hot Panties" Baranski..

She wondered if she had a reputation like her sister of being "easy"

They are doing a good job of keeping him occupied this week." said Gary.

"Keeping his mind off sex."laughed Yvette...Because that's all you guys think about that week anyway."laughed Yvette.

"I'm thinking about it now..."said Gary, laughing..

"I know you are..."laughed Yvette..

He pulled her up and kissed her passionately...

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" she moaned...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH VETTIE!"he moaned..He unsnapped her bra and helped her slide her panties down and off...

He picked her up, spread her legs and slowly entered her....She gasped.....

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU OHHHHH MY GODDDDDDDDDD!!! GARRRRRY!!!" she cried out...

"VETTTTTTIE! UMMMMMMMMM!" he moaned..

"THIS IS SOOOOOO DAMN GOOOOD!" he cried out again as he humped her over the bed..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY GODDDDDD!" she cried out!

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU HUSSSSSSBANDD!" she moaned softly as the bed began to move with the motion of their bodies....

"DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN VETTIE! UMMMMMMMMMMM!" he moaned.

EIGHT TO NINE HOURS LATER- Yvette was resting peacefully on Gary's chest...

She was still kissing him softly...

"Wanna do it some more?" she asked..

"OH MY!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!" he said surprised...

''Why am I not surprised?" she remarked..

Gary climbed on top of her and began making sweet love to her again....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH VETTIE!"he moaned..

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" she moaned...

Jill Scott still playing in the background as they continued to make sweet love.

IV-

THURSDAY-

We were all in our conference room for our meeting.

"You guys ready for trial?" asked Ms. Yvette.. This was a big case and she showed her faith in us by letting us practically run the entire thing..The research and the picking of jurors and creating trial strategy, all of which she looked over and approved.

''Ready and just waiting for Monday.." I said.

"Same Here."said Kahlil..

''Sofia and I are ready Ms. Yvette." said Bee Bee.

"Yes..we are ready.. and we've been talking to Effrom on the Portal,

We've been keeping him up to date on what we are doing concerning his trial." said Sofia.

"OUTSTANDING!!! OHHHHHH LOOK WHO WE HAVE HERE!!! COULDN'T STAY HOME HUH?" said Yvette to Natalie Tennison.

"I was climbing the walls sitting in that house all alone...I wanted to see some people."said Natalie.

"She's nervous....Just three days to go."laughed her supervisor -ADA Karen Page.

"I'm as excited as she is and I'm not the one getting married." said Brooke.

We all laughed...

Jade walked in, while we all sat in the conference room..

"I've been working with Detective Sgt. Brice and Missing Persons Detective Sgt. Smith the past two days.

They ,like me does not believe that Effrom Burke is guilty of murdering Lenny Fischer..We've been comparing notes...

Lt. Tragg refused to listen to our findings, He wrote both of them up for even talking to me and he ordered them off the case...

Before they were taken off the case, the three of us went back to that boat...We did an inventory of everything on that boat...An Anchor was missing and all of the tarp that was originally purchased for the ship was missing...

We found the Fire Extinguisher...It had blood and Brain matter on it.. We believe Lenny was struck with this cannister and knocked unconscious or stunned... He was then shot with a small caliber weapon in the head..

He was wrapped in tarp and his feet covered with cement...The cement and the anvil was tossed over the side of the boat to weigh Lenny Fischer down.

Before they were ordered off the case...The Fire Extinguisher was turned over to Dr. Hazel Baylor

She found two latent fingerprints on the extinguisher that aren't Effrom Burke's or Lenny Fischer's..we don't know for sure...but we think they belong to Trevor Hamilton... We know from multiple witnesses that he is extremely jealous of his wife and was following her... She was having Lenny Fischer do a Nude Photo spread and one in lingerie ..He mistakenly thought that Lenny and her were having an affair, but they weren't... We think that he may be the killer...

Here is one more thing... He bought a lot of cement , two days before the murder...and yet when they went to the Hamilton Residence...There was no sign of it..We have a credit card receipt to prove that..."said Jade.

"I think we may have subpoened the wrong person."said Yvette..

"Yvette, there is someone to see you." said Virginia..

Yvette walked out into the lobby...Attorney Jeremy Tobin was standing there..

"Yvette....Look, about this subpoena...I come offering you a proposition... I'd like you to withdraw that subpoena... Candace is not who you should be looking at....Look I have something here... It's a Credit Card receipt... Her Husband Trevor bought cement, a lot of it the day before the murder....There is no cement at the Hamilton household...So why did he buy it and where is it huh? It was wrapped around Lenny Fischer's legs that's where.. You should be looking at Trevor Hamilton..I like him for this...Not Candace." said Jeremy Tobin...

"That would work out well for you huh?" laughed Yvette...."But okay...do you have the subpoena?"asked Yvette..

"As a matter of fact...I do..." he said and presented it...

Yvette ripped it in half...

"Done! Tell Candace she is off the hook.," she said.

"Thank You Yvette...Thank You....This was easier than I expected..." laughed Jeremy Tobin nervously..."Perhaps you and I could have lunch sometimes?..." he said ...

"Goodbye Jeremy!" said Ms. Yvette ,who then turned and walked away...

Virginia smiled approvingly..

At this very moment, a furious Lt. Tragg was in our old building once again looking for Jade actually...He was going to pull her license for interfering with his investigation..

He found our old suite, dark as usual and the doors locked as if no one was there, which they weren't..

"Do these people ever work?" he mused.

His phone rang...It was The Deputy Of Operations...

"Yes Sir...What is that? I wrote Sgt's Smith and Brice up for interfering with my investigation......Yes sir, I realize that Brice and Smith were the Primaries on the case...I what? I had no right to interfere with THEIR INVESTIGATION??? THEIR INVESTIGATION??Sir, as the Superior Officer I took full control of...WHAT IS THAT SIR??? I am not to take them off of an investigation they began again without clearing it with Captain Cantrell?? WHAT? Yes sir...Yes sirrrrrr, sirrrrrrrr! You are tearing up my write ups of both of them?? Yes sir sirrrrrrrr!You are tearing up my recommendation for the pulling of Jade Lee Ho's P.I. License and I am to not harrass her again....Yes...Got it sirrrrr.....Have I recanvassed?? No sir, there is no need, I have arrested a suspect...Yes I am sure... Yes sirrrrr sirrrr....No sirrrrr sirrr....Got it sirr..." he said and hung up..

Lt. Tragg was livid...He stormed out of our building on to the streets.

The end of a very successful day...Our train was headed home...

"So Sgt. Brice called me. he said the Deputy of Operations and Captain Cantrell ripped up both of the write ups Lt. Tragg submitted for both him and Sgt. Smith...and they told Lt. Tragg that he was to never again pull them from an investigation they were the primaries on without approval from both Captain Cantrell and him...They also tore up his recommendation to pull my P.I. License...I was never worried about that anyway..."said Jade to Ms. Yvette.

Ms Yvette laughed.. "Ouuuuu I bet he's going nuts right now...Probably been up to our old suite thinking he'd surprise us, tell you personally you were out of business..HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"laughed Ms. Yvette.

Sitting right behind them was Bee Bee and I..

"Remember a few years ago you told me you might one day leave here? You were thinking that Olivia and Beverly might be adding attorneys...Well they've added Nelson, Josie and Bresha....Still thinking about leaving? I was talking about starting my own practice..."I said.

"Yeah I remember that....I'm not planning on going nowhere now!!...Ms. Yvette got us a big raise...More money than I would get starting somewhere else..She got us offices of our own...I'd hate starting over somewhere in a cubicle...No...I'm not going anywhere and neither are you...You're staying with me...

Plus, I love it here with you guys and all of these wonderful people around us...Couldn't ask for a better situation." said Bee Bee.

"I agree. " I said.. and we both stared into each others eyes and began kissing passionately....

Sitting behind us... Kahlil and Sofia were talking quietly...

"We have a wedding this Friday Night..."said Kahlil..

"Yeah and Roller skating Saturday night, with some new D.J.'s " she said.

They began kissing...

Virginia and Jetty weren't talking at all..

They were kissing passionately....

"We were out last night with Natalie and Brookie..Tonight let's just stay in." said Jazzy..

"I'm down for that." said Dabnis.

He leaned over and kissed Jazzy passionately.....

"You uh still want to put that big thing inside of me?" she giggled.

"You know I do." he laughed and she laughed as they continued to kiss.

"I have a great Port of Wine, given to me by a grateful client.."said Kayla.

''Heyyyy let's kill that bottle...It's Thursday Night..." said Ray..

"Stayin in tonight baby?" asked Jessica.

''Yes we are sweetie."said Chip, putting his arms around Jessica and hugging her.

"Well girlfriend.. It's Thursday....You get married tomorrow night...You psyched?" asked Brooke..

"I can't wait.."said Natalie....It felt like the night before Christmas to her.

"It feels like The Night before Christmas to you...Probably feels the same way to David Charles."said Brooke's husband, Sean , who was sitting behind them.
