"You've got a meeting with Jumpshot Jim this morning...The famed ladies man eh?  Didn't he fire you from his prosecution team when you guys were prosecuting a case?" asked Jazzy.

"Yes he did..."Lt. Tragg and Jumpshot Jim were both intimidated by my suggestions and my aggressiveness during the case we were working on...Which is why they fired me....And Brooke, god love her...I wouldn't have been mad if she had stayed on the case...She told Jumpshot Jim "If She goes, I go!" and I could have cried...She was a real friend... I love her to death..." said  Natalie, almost crying

''Brooke is a real down to Earth girl....I like her..She's the same age as all of us...She would have fit in well with us when we were teenagers...Hanging out.. Well, I don't know if Jumpshot Jim discriminates...but that form fitting dress you're wearing is the right ammo...You've been turning men's heads and breaking necks ever since you got on the train this morning and your husband is staring at you like he wants to tear your clothes off right now."laughed Jazzy.

"He does want to tear my clothes off !  Girrrrrrrl, if I was down for it...He'd do me somewhere in this building...right now...But today I don't have monkey business on my mind...but getting a deal for my client."said Natalie..

''What kind of Monkey Business are we  talking?   I'm down."said Kayla, joining them.... All three women, friends since before pubertry laughed heartedly....

Natalie's husband, David Charles, cool as a cucumber as usual wasn't even concerned about his meeting with ADA Ron Harper today...He sat chatting animatedly about this week's Basketball games on T.V. with fellow attorneys, Ray St. Jacques, Dabnis Coley, Tony Billips,Keith Jones and Kahlil Ahmed.

"Mannn it will be great...We comin to No I.D. Bar Saturday Morning for Brunch and then we heading out to Bayside..

"Remember that Hall we had that big dinner in? The Guys will be there watchin the game with food, while the women go shopping...Somethin for both of us." said Dabnis.

"Damn, Olivia and Beverly think of everything...what would we do without them?" asked Tony.

"Fend for ourselves."laughed Keith Jones.

"This is soooo cool."said Kahlil.

While Brooke sat with Sofia Garcia -Ahmed, Jessica Sanchez-Burrows and  Beatrice Evans-Jones talking about shopping this coming weekend...

"So Saturday Morning huh?  We'll be there."said Brooke.

"It's going to be a girls trip...Everybody will board the buses at 9:00, we'll meet at NO I.D. for Brunch...

Then we'll drop the guys off at that hall , where Three 64 inch T.V.'s will be hooked up so they can watch the game...There will be food and we girls will head out to the Bayside Area Shopping Center..."said Sofia.

"They have all kinds of stores and outlets...Some great deals." said Jessica.

Olivia and Beverly rented that hall out for the whole day..

Brooke and Natalie had fit in well with all of these new attorneys...Some she and Natalie had previously worked with and others they had worked against...

"My Guys have fit in quite well with everybody..I like that....Everybody has made them feel welcome and not so isolated."mused Karen Page.

''Karen...I jumped for joy when I was told I was getting my own suite and it would be down here..Away from everything...Private...Quiet...I don't mind.. I knew You and Jazzy and Dabnis, Kayla and Ray were already here and I knew you all wouldn't mind the additional company...To my surprise, Jessica and Chip and Bresha's husband, Tony arrived down here the same week we did.. I loved it."said Yvette.

"This building is Lt. Tragg proof, we have this great cafeteria and a gym...and each other...What's not to love?" asked Jade.

"It's certainly been great for me." said Virginia.

Brooke walked over to the table... 

"Well Boss Lady, I'm off to the Women's Prison to see Mary Wiggins this morning.. and uh those two " she said pointing to Charles and Natalie, who were by the door, kissing passionately..

"Good Luck today baby."said David..

"Good Luck to you too." said Natalie.

in between hot ,smouldering kisses...

"You're gonna have to pry those two apart."laughed Brooke.

"They're Newlyweds....I think it's cute."laughed Yvette.

"Get a Bucket of cold water and throw on those two, cool them down."said Ms. Virginia.

"That's a thought."laughed Karen..

Jade laughed loudly at the comments.

Natalie and David took the train to City Hall..

Brooke , who had drove in with Sean today, took her car.

THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY RONALD HARPER

"David...David Charles....David who slew Goliath....I watched that trial , you lawyered the hell out of that trial...even before Olivia, Beverly,Nelson, Josie and their new girl got involved... I laughed my head off seeing Jumpshot Jim , Chris Garcetti and Lynn Hewitt being brought to task.. Serves him right..he might have done better if he had kept Brooke and your wife, Natalie...on his team...Even Lynn Hewitt bailed before it was over...Good job...Good Job.....Oh yeah, congratulations on your wedding....Natalie is a beautiful woman...and a fine lawyer...You couldn't have picked a better wife and colleague...I understand you both are assigned to the Wrongful Conviction Unit eh?   You're down near uh Penns Landing with Yvette and her crew and a few others huh?" said Ron Harper.

"Yes we are...It's cool down there.." said David.

"So you want a deal on Mary Wimbush huh?   I understand she was one of the so called witnesses who recanted her testimony in the Teddy Bellamy case huh?  let me look at her file...I checked her record, this is her third fall David...She served 24 months in County for Petty Theft...She served a Year in Dolly Madison for Drug charges...and now she faces 5-7 years on her latest charges...Solicitation....I have to tell you David, she's a massive pain in the ass...but I'm gonna do you a solid...a big solid...She's facing Maximum charges because this is her third fall..I don't really want to send her up...She just had a baby.So here's the deal... No jail time...five years probabtion..If she does 100 hours of Therapy...Her probation will be cut...How is that?" said Ron Harper.

"Awwww man, thanks....Thank youuuuuuu Ron...I owe you...I owe you big time.." said David..

"Yes you do mannnn." laughed ADA Ron Harper...

"Let me make a call to one of my colleagues." said  David.

He called Brooke

Brooke was just pulling into the parking lot of Vallhalla Womens Corection Center.

"Hi David...I didn't expect to hear from you so soon...What's that? You struck a deal with ADA Harper..??? 

No jail time...five years probation..If she does 100 hours of Therapy...Her probation will be cut...?? David that is great!! Every Good Thing Natalie says about you is true...You are a hell of a lawyer..I love you too!"said an exuberant Brooke.

She walked into Valhalla Women's Correctional Center just glowing. It made her look sexier.

Bull Bailey thought so... He couldn't keep his eyes off of Brooke as he searched her things...

Mary Wiggins was pleasently surprised when she saw Brooke.

''Ouuuu more sandwiches from Atlantic." she said, smiling.

As Brooke passed her a Hoagie for later and a Cheese Steak Hoagie for now...

"Ummm I dreamed about these sandwiches all day yesterday after you phoned me and told me you were coming today....Thank Youuuuuuuu, where are your friends?" asked Mary.

"They are meeting with Assistant District Attorneys at City Hall. I have great news for you.. You could be getting released as early as tomorrow....My colleague ,David worked out a deal for you with the Assistant District Attorney , who was prosecuting your case.  No jail time...five years probation..If you do 100 hours of Therapy...Your probation will be cut...?? You could walk out of here as soon as tomorrow morning."said Brooke.

"Thank youuuuuuu, thank you soooooo much." said  Mary Wiggins, hugging Brooke. They had been as good as their word...She didn't expect results this soon, but she was good with it.. She'd do the 100 hours of Therapy....That was great...Not being locked up, even better. She'd have her baby.She was exuberant....

THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY, RON HARPER

''Well, I was glad I was able to help you David...Anything else?" asked Ron Harper.

"No Ron,.you've done quite enough...I 'm in debt to you."said David Charles.

Just then, there was a knock on the door ,It was Ron's fiance, ADA Gerri Williams.

"Oh, I didn't know you had a visitor, Am I interrupting anything?" she asked.

"Oh No Mam!  I'm leaving...My Meeting with Ron is over....See ya around Ron, Thanks again!" said David.

"See ya man....You're Welcome....Come on in Gerri,  Close the door and lock it! "said Ron Harper ,pulling the shades and dimming the lights, giving his office the appearence of being empty..

"I don't have any trials for today ,how about you?" he asked ADA Gerri Williams in between hot smouldering kisses...

"I'm done for today..." she giggled, as excited as a school girl, kissing Ron passionately....

Ron unbuttoned her blouse  and unloosened her skirt....The kissing got hotter....

"UMMMMMMMMMMMM, LAWD HAVE MERCY..." he moaned, slipping her panties down....

"Ronnie baby, you are soooo silly.." she giggled.

He dropped his trousers and lifted her up, entering her slowly....She gasped loudly as he entered her...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...OUUUUUUUU HOOO HOOOO HOOOOOOOO OUUUUUUUUUUU YOU ARE ALL UP IN THIS...OUUUUUUUCOME GET THIS SUGAR....

OUUUUUUUUUU!" she cooed loudly as Ron was losing his mind inside of her...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH GOOOD LORDDDDDDD UMMMMMMMM!" he moaned....

Charles work was finished....He was hungry....he thought he'd wait around for Natalie.

THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY JAMES "Jumpshot Jim" TAYLOR

"Natalie...Hello...I must tell you are the last person I ever expected to pay me a visit." said ADA Taylor.. He felt very guilty about firing her from his team....He allowed Lt. Tragg to have too much influence on him... It retroactively caused her friend Brooke 

who he was wildly attracted to, to also leave the team and decide to get married just as the two of them were starting to make progress....or so he believed...

"You're the last person I thought I would need a favor from."said Natalie, never being one to be coy or subtle. She was a get right to the point person...While her husband,David Charles

 and her best friend,

Brooke Marks were schmoozers and more subtle, They used nuances in their negotiations...

''So You Need a Favor eh?" said"Jumpshot Jim", A former College Basketball great, who tore his ACL in the NCAA Championship game that year and effectively ended his dream of playing in the NBA...He instead finished college and went to law school, becoming an Assistant District Attorney as well as one of the city's most eligible bachelors...He looked at this as an opportunity to make it up to Natalie, who he had nothing against...His mistake was ever allowing Lt. Tragg to allow him to make any decisions on who was on his legal team or listening to him at all.

"Yes I do...As you know, Brooke and I and my husband, are staff attorneys with the Wrongful Conviction /Conviction Integrity Unit of the D.A.'s ofice... We are representing a client, Teddy Bellamy convicted and sentenced to Life, No Parole when he was 17 in 2007....Two people who testified against him recanted their testimony a long time ago, but nobody listened to them....One of those people you have recently prosecuted...a small time petty criminal named Jimmy Nelson...He's awaiting sentencing on a Burglary rap....But I need his testimony in my case." said Natalie.

''And let me guess...He's willing to talk if you can get him out of CFC right?" Today is the luckiest day of your life Natalie...We are getting ready to drop the Burglary charges on him....For one thing, the person he supposedly robbed is a Drug dealer, who the Feds just pinched... The other thing is there is no evidence he stole anything...We don't have a case....He is scheduled to be released tomorrow.." said Jumpshot Jim... "I try to stay away from Mickey Mouse cases like his...but I should warn you...He has perjured himself in  two other cases...His mouth is definitely no prayer book... You can use him at your peril... and I'll do you another favor...The ADA who is oppossing you, is a guy named Frederick Stockton...He is the son of the original ADA who prosecuted this case.. Regis Stockton..

"He's a real headcase....but he's good...Watch your back..That's all I'm saying...."said Jumpshot Jim..

"Gee Thank You....Thank You very much for the heads up.!" said Natalie, smiling for the first time...

"I hear you got married...To David Charles huh?  Congratulations!"said Jumpshot Jim.

"Thank You...Thank You very much!" said Natalie as she left his office.

SAM MOTHERS DINER-

Brooke smiled as she looked up and saw both David and Natalie walking into the diner.

"HEYYYYY GUYS!" she said, smiling..

"HEYYY BROOKE!" said David.

He had already told Natalie of his success with ADA Ron Harper and that Mary Wiggins would be released tomorrow.

Natalie told him that Jimmy Nelson could be out of jail tonight.

It was a slam dunk...A Good day for both of them..

"Heyyyyyyy Buddy!"said a smiling Natalie.

The three of them ordered Burgers and Milk shakes...

It would be a perfect day , except that Lt. Tragg walked in just then..

He couldn't resist walking over to where they were sitting

"WELLLLLL LOOK WHO IT IS!!!!!! The Pussy whipped "David who slew Goliath "and his wifey poo!" said Lt. Tragg looking at David and Natalie.,

"THAT WASN'T A VERY NICE THING TO SAY!" said Brooke.

"It's Okay Brooke...I don't care what he says...He's a miserable man and he's only happy if he thinks he's making other people  miserable....I pay him no mind at all.. He's still mad because when I won that case, He didn't get that TV deal and that Podcast deal he was hoping for.|" laughed David Charles as he munched on his burger...

"You summed it up Husband...In the nutshell." said Natalie,laughing and also enjoying her burger..

"Pass me the ketchup." she said.

"You summed it up husband..." said Lt. Tragg mocking Natalie." I understand you guys are attempting to free another loser...A guy who was convicted by a jury before any of you guys were practicing law....Now why would you reopen a loser case like that?"he asked.

" Because we knew it would Piss You Off. " said Natalie. The Question is...WHY DO YOU CARE?? This has absolutely nothing to do with you..."said Natalie.

"You know I have never liked you....You 've always had a smart mouth, Soooo much to say.......Brooke, why, why do you associate with the likes of her?" asked Lt. Tragg..

''Who I choose to Associate with is none of your business. Why don't you leave us alone? We aren't bothering you...Why are you such a Bully..?" asked Brooke.

Being upbraided by Brooke stung him....He liked Brooke, He was still wildly attracted to her and he didn't like being talked to like that by her...

"Listen I'm not bullying anyone ...I'm just voicing my opinion and asking a legitimate question.,."said Lt. Tragg.

"DON'T YOU EVER GET TIRED OF HEARING YOURSELF TALK AND BOTHERING PEOPLE??" came a bellowing voice. It was the Voice of Eric Bishop an Attorney and Activist, who used to be a boxer...The Boyfriend of ADA Sharon Carter, who was not there.  "LEAVE THESE PEOPLE ALONE..THEY WEREN'T BOTHERING YOU... GO ON GET AWAY FROM THEIR TABLE." he said.

"LISTEN PAL..."Mind your business okay?, This does not concern you...Now shut up and back off before you get a fat lip and get yourself in a world of trouble... " said Lt. Tragg, who ironically enough was planning to leave and head to the counter.

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TO YOU CORNY KEYSTONE COPPER?" snarled Eric Bishop...

"I'M TALKING TO YOU! NOW FOR THE LAST TIME BACK OFF BEFORE YOU GET HURT!!!" bellowed Lt. Tragg...

A Punch was thrown...They didn't know who threw the first punch...

But Eric Bishop fired off  20 lefts and 20 rights to Lt. Tragg's face...sending him spinning around like  a top....Now the other customers were engaged...watching Lt. Tragg getting pummelled...once again...Everyone at their tables were either howling with laughter or astounded...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUF!" groaned Lt. Tragg, who  staggered, then swung two haymakers, missing with both.. and stumbling off guard...He swung again and had his punch blocked...He tried to throw another punch, but missed again and Eric Bishop cracked him hard in his jaw, spinning him around again and then landed 18 lefts and 18 right body shots to his torso..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUF!" he moaned in pain himself.. blood spewing from his nose, his lip swollen and his eyes swollen also..He folded over in pain and hit the floor again....

He groaned as he got to his feet...breathing heavily and embarrassed at the way he was being beaten like a drum in front of everyone..

He attempted to grab Eric and caught 18 more lefts and rights to his face...He fell to the floor again....

He was done.. He had no more fight left in him... He got up and stumbled towards the door and went out into the street... He went to his car in the parking lot and collapsed in his front seat in the car....groaning...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Eric Bishop paid for his meal and left a tip and paid for David, Natalie and Brooke's burgers and Milk Shakes and left a tip for them...He smiled and He quietly left, not allowing them to thank him.

"You know I started to call the cops...but Artie had  that coming to him...He's always bothering somebody...He can't just come in here, order food  and eat and leave people alone."said Sam Mother as Natalie, David and Brooke all left and headed to the parking lot.

"This was a good day after all."said a smiling David Charles,leaving the diner.

"It certainly was an entertaining one."laughed Natalie..

"Wowwwwwww...Look there he is."said David.

Lt. Tragg's car was three cars over from Brooke's.

"My god...He looks like Hell...He certainly got the hell beat out of him....You think we should call an ambulance?" asked Natalie.

"No...he's conscious...He sees us. Let's go home...I want to see my man....I don't want to waste anymore time on this fool." said Brooke.

"Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes." said David solemnly , thinking that none of this had to happen.

Both Natalie and Brooke could not control their laughter as the three of them got in their car....

and pulled off..

Both of Lt. Tragg's eyes were once again swollen shut...His cheeks were discolored and his lip was swollen...His nose was bleeding a little bit...Both arms had been torn completely off his suit jacket ,which had a split in the back...His shirt was out of his pants and his tie was crooked.It was a funny sight to behold...He had literally been beat out of his suit jacket..

He was highly embarrassed being beat like a gong in front of Brooke and to make matters worse ,he didn't know that guy's name or where he worked that beat him up for the second time. His girlfriend, ADA Sharon Carter despised him and probably would not tell him if he asked.

Brooke and Natalie had found the two tracking devices he had placed on Brooke's car and tossed them in a trash can two blocks away...

at Brooke and Sean's house...

"How'd your day go today baby?" said her husband, Sean...

"It couldn't have gone better....both of our witnesses will be free as of tomorrow...That's better than I suspected.." said Brooke as she and Sean ate dinner and washed dishes...
