''We'll see you in a few." said Tyrell.

It was Game Day... and the crowds came...

"What's going On?" said Donnie Ray.

"Thank You Bev....but me , your aunt and you said this would be different..Just what everybody would be looking for."said Renee.

"Tonight, we can all walk home from here..."laughed Nelson..

"Yeah, all of us high fallutin lawyers.."joked Josie..

"Ummmmm that food smells good." said Paris...

"Don't it? Look at the tables...Let's grab plates and utensils." said Bresha.

"Don't have to tell me twice." said Tony...

''Well dig in...Renee and me can't eat all this good food by ourselves." said Tyrell.

Alfreda smiled...She loved being around all of these young people, They made her feel young..So did her younger husband, who wanted to jump on her every minute of the day..

Rockland grabbed plates and utensils for them both and began making plates....

"Oh My God, so much food..." said Yvette peering at the Fried Chicken, Fried Fish and other soul food.

 

Gary grabbed two plates and two sets of utensils and began making him and Yvette plates of food.

"Tonight we can walk home.." said Keith..

"How about that?" laughed his wife, Bee Bee...

"Oh My...They have Latin Food." said a surprised Sofia. There was a table with Latin themed food.

"They knew you were coming." joked her husband, Kahlil..

As they took plates and utensils and helped themselves.

"Ouuu Look." said Jade....They had a Buffet with Asian Fusion food.

Danny smiled...Glad this group took into account all of the different ethnicities that made up the group of friends.

''Olivia wanted something for everybody.." said Virginia, who was in on the planning.

"Olivia is good like that." said Jetty , who supplied four bottles of wine..

"Wowwwww...I'm amazed at all of this good hot food." said Jazzy..
 

"Not me..When Olivia and Beverly and Alfreda put something together they don't half step.." said Dabnis...

"My cousins and my auntie are indeed the social planners.."said Kayla..

"Bennett Women....They keep things poppin"laughed her husband, Ray as he made plates for both him and Kayla...

"Ohhh you always say that."laughed Kayla.

"It's true...Why do you think I always hung around you and Beverly?"joked Jazzy, hugging her best friend, Kayla.

''Me too!" joked Natalie.

"See?"laughed Ray....

"Stop it...All Women keep things poppin...You guys wouldn't have thought of this." said Beverly, which caused everyone to laugh...

"Oh My...They have Latin food too." gushed Jessica.

''We want you and Sofia to feel like part of the family, because you both are." said her husband, Chip.who helped himself to a little bit of everything.

"Welcome to the neighborhood Karen, B.L.  " said Olivia.

"We can't get away from you Karen...You lived across the hall from us in Law school and now you live on our street.."laughed Yvette, hugging her good friend.

''Well you followed me to my building..."joked Karen..

"You guys have a lot of history."laughed B.L....

''Everybody here has some type of history that binds us.."said Olivia.

''Some of us go wayyyyy back." said Natalie.

''And it all starts with Olivia, Yvette and Karen."said David...

"Yes it does...We are drawn to them like moths to a flame." said Brooke.

"You are so poetic baby." laughed her husband, Sean.

"She's right though...I was friends with Yvette, she introduced me to Olivia and I handled Olivia's divorce from her first husband..." said Zoey.

"And I met Olivia in San-Francisco at the Lawyers Conference.."said Lem...

"I worked cases with Olivia ,Yvette, Karen, Jessica and Chip....with the Women's Law center and The Innocence Project." said Renee.

"And I was their client, shortly before I passed the Bar....Plus I've seen all of you in court when I was a bailiff and a law student...All of you guys were encouraging....Never dreamed I'd be living near you and hanging out with you."said Tyrell.

Soon Games of Poker and Pinocle broke out as well

as a spirited game of Spades..

For those not playing cards....Games of Chess

and Backgammon was played...

A Healthy group of Beers and Sodas was supplied.

"Olivia this was so much fun....Maybe we should do this quarterly like the way we do Laundry day.." said Renee.

"That's a good idea Renee..Food Fellowship, Games, Music and fun..." said Olivia. Olivia was tickled pink at all of her new neighbors and the fact that they were all friends and colleagues and that she was able to facilitate events like this.

Alexa was playing good music....No one was dancing tonight though....Just eating,laughing

THURSDAY NIGHT-CURLEY'S BAR- "COUPLES NIGHT"

Lt. Tragg walked into the bar surprised that Olivia, Beverly, Yvette and all of their associates , who he nicknamed the "Olivia Caravan" was missing tonight... Even Curley wasn't present...His associate was in for him...

He saw States Attorney Tanya Mosley sitting with a Gentleman friend talking and drinking quietly...

''Why don't you come over my house tonight...I haven't seen you in four days." she cooed.

'Alright...I keep a spare toothbrush in my glove compartment." said Joseph Bishop who was feeling her shapely legs and slowly running his hand up her mini dress..

"Ummmm we keep this up and we aren't going to make it to my house." she said softly...

"Ummmmm, I knowwwwww.." he said.

They kissed a little while longer..

Their drinks arrived and they began sipping them and smiling at each other sheepishly...

He sauntered over to their table.

"WELL LOOK WHO IT IS...STATES ATTORNEY TANYA MOSLEY...I SUPPOSE YOU'RE SHORT ON CASH THIS WEEK EH? YOUR HIGH FALLUTIN LAWYER FRIENDS AREN'T HERE TONIGHT HUH?" he snarled.

"If I was you I'd get away from this table.. IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!" said Tanya .

"IS THAT A THREAT? WHAT? DID I STRIKE A NERVE?" he snarled. "I see you're drinkng....Better not be driving under the influence..I'll be watching.." he said..

"Who cares if you're watching? You're off duty...An off duty detective...You have no authority to write a ticket up on anybody...now  the lady asked you to leave our table..I'M NOT ASKING YOU...I'M TELLING YOU TO GET AWAY FROM OUR TABLE! I'M NOT GONNA ASK YOU AGAIN!! GET AWAY FROM OUR TABLE!!!" said Joseph Bishop.

"MUZZLE YOUR FRIEND MS. MOSLEY..MUZZLE HIM OR I'LL MUZZLE HIM!" said Lt. Tragg..

He was punched in the jaw so hard he spun around like a top... He swung two , then three haymakers that missed..

Joey hit him with 17 lefts and 17 rights to his face.. He spun around like a top and hit the floor... He came up swinging...missing every punch he threw...but Joey was faster and more precise..He landed 20 lefts and 20 rights to Lt. Tragg's face, which was unrecognizable now and landed a left -right combonation which sent him flying into an un occupied table which he knocked over, chairs and all..

His night was over.. There were claps and cheers from other spectators that night as staff members of Curley's picked him up off the floor and sat him down....His face was unrecognizable.. Someone got him some coffee.....His nose was bleeding profusely....Someone got him a cold towel....

"AWWWWWWWWWW....AWWWWWWWWWWW....OHHHHHHHHI'm going to file charges against him for ....for assault of an officer...awww lawd!" said Lt. Tragg..

"I think you'd better leave that guy alone man...."said a customer.....

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!   AWWWWWWWWWW....AWWWWWWWWWWW....OHHHHHHHH I'm going to file charges against him for ....for assault of an officer...awww lawd!" said Lt. Tragg again.

"Suit yourself pal...but you started that fight...He asked you to leave..So did the lady." said the man..

"SHUT UP AND GET OUTTA MY FACE...WHO ASKED YOU?" screamed Lt. Tragg.

Four Sherrif's deputies walked in...During the melee, Tanya had called them.....Lt. Tragg's  face was unrecognizable ,it was so swollen...Both of his eyes were nearly swollen shut...His lip was swollen, both arms were torn off of his suit jacket..plus his jacket was split in the back.....His shirt was out of his pants and his hair was a mess..

"Poor guy...I almost hate to take him in..."said one of the deputies as he was taken into one of the police cruisers...

"Guys...Guys...I'm the victim here!" said Lt. Tragg...

"You sure are....He beat the crap outta you." said one deputy...

"You need to learn to leave people alone...It's a wonder this doesn't happen to you more often.."said another deputy...

"AWWWWWWWWWW....AWWWWWWWWWWW....OHHHHHHHHI'm going to file charges against him for ....for assault of an officer...awww lawd!" said Lt. Tragg..

"Seven people say you started the fight ,plus the States Attorney, that makes eight....You still want to go there with that?" said another deputy...

The other three deputies snickered.

Lt. Tragg would spend his night in lock up...The Cooler... They'd release him in the morning..

Tanya kissed Joseph passionately....She rubbed his bruised knuckles..He ran his hands completely under her dress and squeezed her butt...wincing a little bit..

"Ouuuu baby...Are your knuckles hurt?" she cooed seductively....

"Yessssss, a little bit......Maybe I should come back to your house and you can ice them down..." he said raffishly...

Miles away...Game Day had been a huge success...Everyone had gone home and some had taken what food was left with them..... Renee stood in the window looking at the moon...

''What a nice night...and it ended early...It's just midnight...Mostly everybody walked home...The best part of it was no interrruption by Lt. Tragg...He managed to show up in Jersey at our day party...Wonder what he's doing tonight.?" mused Renee...

Her husband, Tyrell stood behind her with his arms around her waist...

"Oh I'm sure he found somebody in the bar to annoy...That's what he does." he said..

As they began kissing passionately...
