The building where Attorney Jasmine Jenkins-Coley's law firm was headquartered was empty, practically everyone had gone for the day...

They picked Jasmine, because of her cut-throat reputation...As an ADA and Public Defender...she had been very tenacious... And for a few hours today...She went back into that persona..Ruthless, bottom line, tenacious..
Her talents served her well....She came prepared with facts and predicates...
She was using the talents of Private Investigator ,Kevin Morris..the husband of her realtor and also the same investigator that both
Kayla and Jessica Sanchez swore by...
Olivia told her that before she married Donnie Ray...
in the early days of her firm before she was completely set up..Kevin had worked with her on two cases and had been very helpful...
but now Donnie Ray, her husband was the investigator who worked exclusively for her team of

If Bev, Nelson or Josie all had cases pending and Donnie Ray got a little bogged down..

The client was stunned at how much evidence Jasmine had against him...
Judd Latham argued the best he could, but he was no match for Jasmine..

In the end, Jasmine won the case... Her firm was prepared to pay a small amount...They wanted her to haggle for the smallest amount...Thanks to her, they wouldn't have to pay a red cent..
The client stormed out ,furious..
"I don't believe this...perhaps I should have hired her!" he said ..
"Perhaps you shouldn't have lied...I told you I don't like surprises.." said Todd Latham as they left..
"Kevin, you are worth every penny we paid you....In fact...I'm going to try and get you a little more..like Two thousand more...Wowwww!! Kayla, Olivia, Yvette and Jessica Sanchez didn't lie..You are one of the best..."said Jasmine, hugging Kevin...
"You're not bad yourself counselor...Is it true...you were once an ADA?" asked Kevin...
''Yeah, I was a Public Defender before that....Olivia Bennett-Alexander taught me everything I know about real law.."said Jasmine..
''No wonder you're soo good." Kevin said.
"Thank you...Thank you sooo much...I couldn't have done it without a good investigator like you.."said Jasmine.

At Sam Mother's Diner... Jasmine sat with ADA Karen Page..
''Wow....I haven't seen you since Dabnis and I got back from our honeymoon..."said Jasmine.
"I know....How are you? It's been kind of quiet...I miss Olivia, Beverly and her crew and Vettie and her guys...I suppose they're all in court with other cases...I haven't even seen Jessica and Chip.."said Karen..
''Well maybe something will come up and we can work together again...I won a big litigation today.."said Jasmine.
''Well good for you."said Karen..
''But it didn't feel as good as it used to...I felt more alive when we were getting a wrongfully convicted person off..I felt alive..especially working with Liv and Bev and Nelson and Donnie Ray and Josie...I felt great working with Yvette and her team...Today was...MEH!" said Jasmine..
''Well, I don't know how long this initiative will be going on, but I need a staff attorney...Just say the word and I could make that happen....Think about it.."said Karen..."It's less money than you're making now, but it's good satisfying work.."she added..
Ice Teas and Ham Salad sandwiches arrived....
''These are sooo good.."said Karen..
"I used to date Nelson East years ago...He turned me on to these..."said Jasmine..

Jasmine had a talk with Dabnis..
"Dabnis honey.. Karen made me a job offer....Kinda sorta.." she said.
"Oh yeah?/ and what a great time to make it after you won that big deposition....Girrrrrl you got it goin on...winning that deposition puts you back in the running to make partner.. and if not you got another job offer...Wowwwwwww, you couldn't be any luckier..You got leverage baby....You can write your own ticket!!!"laughed Dabnis… "Damn, I wish we had some Champaigne, we could celebrate.." he laughed..
"I love that you're so excited for me...It's really a nice feeling."said Jasmine, tears streaming down her face...No one had been excited for her triumphs for a long time....
"Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy what's the tears for? "asked Dabnis, holding her in his arms and hugging her...
"Well on the one hand...I don't know for sure if I'm back in line to make partner...but I do know that the partners are extremely pleased....Karen offered me a job as a staff attorney of the Wrongful Conviction Unit....it's considerably less money and if Gil Garcetti loses the next election...The next D.A. could scrap it..." said Jasmine..
"The safe move would be to stay put...but....safe isn't fun....Where is your heart at baby? "asked Dabnis..
''I don't know.. She's doing wonders with a limited budget...She shares Gary Lockwood, the Investigator for the D.A.'s office with Rockland...and she contracts out Defense Attorneys like Olivia and Beverly and their crew and Yvette Jones and company and The Innocence Project and probably the ACLU....And since she's already being paid as an ADA...This initiative is cost effective.."said Jasmine.
"You wouldn't really be a cost and you'd be an ADA again.. If it brings you happiness and fulfillment..I'd say do it...Screw the money...I make enough for both of us and we 'll always get by..."said Dabnis..
"It's a thought....but I do like the money where I'm at.."laughed Jasmine..
"That's my Jazzy...."laughed Dabnis..
They began kissing some more..
and soon Dabnis had her clothes off.....
"Ummmmmmmmmm…" she moaned..
"Oh My god...." he moaned....
Soon their bed was squeaking, and the headboard sounded as if it might come off.....
They were making sweet love ,for the second time today....
and for the next EIGHT TO NINE HOURS, Jasmine didn't worry about her future or anything but her new husband...Making him happy ,like he'd made her feel so happy the last 24 hours...
