"I had talked the other partners into settling out of court and without litigation....They seemed a little hesitant..let's hope they agree to settlements...because if they do...That might negate what Yvette is attempting to do." said Michelle Aiken.

''She does whatever they say....If they decide to settle out of court..She'll settle out of court too..and drop Olivia and Beverly." laughed Sylvia Lively.

At this very minute.

At the headquarters of McCluskey/Cozen/Connor and Pratt

in their conference room...Yvette and her legal defense team were meeting with the other partners.

 

 "These charges are bogus and I intend to fight her in court if neccesary and not give her a red cent."said Yvette.

"We heard you guys had met with your attorneys and were considering settling out of court."said Keith Jones.

"We don't think that would be wise sir."said Bee Bee.

"Let us fight it out with her first....If we are unsuccessful, you are free to do as you wish." argued Sofia.

"Yes...She hasn't got a case." said Kahlil.

"I'm gathering information right now to use against her in court."said Jade.

Virginia was with us, but she said nothing.

"We are willing to represent all four of you." said Olivia.

"We don't think she has much of a case against Yvette and even less against you four.."said Beverly..

"I know we handle mostly criminal cases....but we can handle litigation too." said Nelson.

''We'd like to help you if you let us." said Josie sincerely.

"We'd save you a lot of money..several million." said Bresha.

The entire room burst into gales of laughter.

"Well thank you.....Thank you...And Oh I know all about you guys and your sterling reputations.   To Tell you the truth...I haven't contacted an attorney yet. But I'd be honored to represented by all of you." said Mr. McCluskey...

"Neither have I...This whole thing has caught me by surprise...But I'll ,like Mr. McCluskey throw my lot in with you. said Mr. Cozen.

"I have contacted an attorney and he sent a proffer to them, but now I'll pull back..... I'm with you guys,."said Mr. Connor.

"I have the greatest respect for all of you. I'm in."said Partner Pratt.

"Let us represent the five of you....We'll win and she won't get a red cent...."said Olivia.

"I'm in.." said McCluskey...

"I'm in..." said Mr. Cozen..

"Count me in."said Mr. Connor.

"I'm in....I trust you and believe in your judgement Yvette,.Olivia." said Mr. Pratt.

Senior Associate Attorney Mike Zucker had been standing outside of the conference room

and unknown to us...he grabbed his smartphone and made a hasty call....

SAM MOTHER'S DINER-

"I can't tell you how many meals I had in here when I was on the job Alexander....Did you have a spot like this in New Orleans?" asked Ronald Shylock..

"I did...About three favorite spots.... This is Milt Lewis....He's a private investigator who sometimes works for me...." I said.

"What we've got here is testimony on affadavits from three people who were close to the case who were paid by Mr. and Mrs. Wilson to be quiet.....and two people who still refuse to say anything...even though Mr. and Mrs. Wilson have long since died and the money they paid them has been dried up."I said.

"You got a money trail?" asked Shylock..

"I've got bank records on all five of them.." I said..

"YOU are sharp...No wonder Olivia and her niece never lose a case..."laughed Ronald Shylock.

"The old guy who used to tend to the pool remembers being told that the pool was closing and that it was to be drained and demolished... He says he saw his boss and Mr. Wilson having conversation." said 

Milt Lewis.

"That's hearsay..You can't use it." I said.

"The Psychiatrist who examined Judge Wilson as a 13 year old diagnosed him as a "budding sociopath"
is still alive."said Ronald Shylock.

"He's not going to talk to you and besides , he can't...Doctor Patient priveledge." I said.

"Mrs. Wilson is dead." said Ronald Shylock...

''She wasn't the patient, Judge Wilson was and he's very much alive and that diagnoses is probably sealed."I said.

"Your years being with your wife have certainly paid off Mr. Donnie Ray." said Ronald Shylock.

Lt. Tragg walked over to our table... "Oh My God...Look what the cat dragged in...Ronnie Shylock!!! What do you know? What do you say?" he said, smiling and shaking his hand..

"Hi everybody, Hi Mr.Shylock!"said Olivia.

 

Beverly waved...

"Let's Order some coffees and some pies." said Nelson.

"Good Idea." said Josie.

"I hope they have Key Lime.."said Bresha.

 

 "This is great...We are representing me and all of the partners.."said Yvette.

"I never thought a day like this would come...I never imagined it."said Keith Jones.

"This raises our profiles even higher."said Bee Bee.

"We are so fortunate..."said Sofia.

"Yeah but we have to make sure we are successful..."said Kahlil.

"With Olivia ,Beverly, Nelson, Josie, Bresha and you guys....plus Ms. Virginia...I have no doubt you'll be successful." said Jade.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence." said Virginia.

 "I know I won't be arguing my case...but I love sitting in, being a part of this.."said Yvette.

"This is not only an education, it's a challenege."said Keith Jones.

"A learning experience."said Bee Bee.

"Yes." said Sofia.

"Let's get to it." said Kahlil.

"I suppose I should get on the street, look u0p a few things."said Jade.

My plan was to get them to talk to the other four to settle out of court and thus to checkmate Yvette into settling out of court...Well the worst has happened..  All four partners have joined Yvette....Olivia ,Beverly and company are representing Yvette and the other four partners...They aren't offering us a red cent and they want a fight...That's not what we wanted..These are formidable attorneys, which means I'm going to have to call in some help..Which means my price goes up....Now think about it...Do you still want to do this?" she asked.
