Bee Bee and Sofia helped Natalie search her office thoroughly for any listening device.....

"Hmm , Nothing here." said Sofia.

"Nothing here." said Bee Bee.

"I really appreciate you two helping me out here."said Natalie.

Jade had an electronic device that she used...

"Nothing here...you're clear." she said.

"Hmm , Nothing here." said Sofia.

"Nothing here." said Bee Bee.

"I can't tell you guys how much ,I really appreciate you two helping me out here."said Brooke.

Jade again used her electronic device electronic device , The same one she had used in Natalie's office..

"Nothing here...you're clear." she said.

THE OFFICE OF DAVID CHARLES, ATTORNEY AT LAW-

Kahlil, Keith Jones and Sean thoroughly searched my office for listening devices..

"Nothing I have found here..."said Kahlil.

"I looked in every favorite hiding place...I didn't find anything." said Keith Jones.

"Same Here." said Sean....

"Thanks guys, thanks to all of you for helping us out like this." I said.

Jade came in with her electronic device...

"You're clear...You and the girls are all clear..."she said. That was good to know..

But in Karen's office it was a totally different story.

"Look what I found.." whispered Yvette..

She discovered a micro-listening device under Karen's desk..

"That sneaky little Harpie..." said Karen.

Jade didn't find anymore devices in Karen's office....but her next stop was our conference room..

She found two....One under our conference room table and another hidden behind our wall clock.

She disabled all three of them....

"We were compromised.....At least she didn't get your offices..."said Karen..

"That's because we were in our offices..."said Natalie.

"She didn't get the chance." said Brooke.

"She got our conference room...She didn't need to bug our offices.."I said.

"And she got you Karen, because you're the boss...Everything comes from you."said Sean...

"They're right Karen...."said Jade.

"Let me keep one...Just disable it....I have a feeling Ms. Pamela Lundy may be paying me another visit."said Karen.

"Meanwhile you can have your meetings in our suite or better yet at Olivia and Beverly's house."said Yvette.

"That's a good idea Vettie." said Karen.

We took Yvette's Advice...The next two days...we took our case and it's discussion to her conference room..

"This is much more secure." said Natalie.

"We can speak freely here."said Brooke.

"We could speak freely in our office...We got the bugs out..." I said.

"True, but here we know we aren't being compromised."said Sean.

"We have our suite swept at least twice a month..."said Yvette.

"Olivia and Bev have their place swept on a regular basis." said Keith Jones.

"You know Kevin Morris...He has operatives who will do it at a low rate..They do our office."said Bee Bee.

"That proves you're successful...You've got somebody scared..."said Sofia.

"You got any idea who might be behind this?" asked Kahlil.

''A Certain cop who is concerned that one more bad case from his past and he could lose his promotion."said Karen.

"He should lose his freedom."said Jade.

"I'm still an Assistant District Attorney....I could make that happen." said Karen.

"I love it." laughed Virginia.

The next two days...We took our case and it's discussion to our good friends, Olivia and Beverly's Office and Duplex..

They had a beautiful and large law library...

"It's always fun to work with you guys...Olivia and Beverly." said Natalie.

"It's always nice to have company..." said Olivia.

"We love company and we love to help."said Beverly.

"I love you guys."said Brooke.

"You've got a university here." I said.

"Yes you do." said Sean.

"Olivia ,you and Yvette have been life savers..."said Karen. "That's why you two are my very best friends." she said.

'We don't mind...and I don't mind..You ,Vettie and I have been together since day one in law school..We are sisters." said Olivia.

"Mi Casa, Yo Casa." said Donnie Ray smiling..

"Now let's look at your case and see what you need to do." said Beverly.

"Pass me that case file." said Nelson.

Josie keyed up her laptop...

Even her husband, Paris weighed in...

Bresha keyed up her laptop..

And her husband Tony had a look and comments..

Alfreda supplied us with Ice Tea, Guava Punch...and Cuban and Italian stuffed sandwiches...

And Rockland's fine legal mind weighed in also...

In a surveillance van, parked a few blocks from the Bridge Building... Lt. Chris Curtis wasn't very happy.

"It's been four days and I haven't heard a peep..I know they've been there ...I've seen em going in." he said..

''You think they found the bugs?" asked a policeman.

"Nah!.... but they haven't said anything, nothing at all...I might have to go for a more direct approach." he mused.

CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION AT PHOENIXVILLE-

DEATH ROW!

THE MEETING ROOM-

Alex Williams was elated to see us..

'''Well you're back.." he said with a smile.

"We've got good news for you...Brooke's husband and our boss, who you haven't met yet are arguing your case in Appellate court as we speak."said Natalie.

"We had a lot of experienced lawyers looking at your case..." I said.

"Lawyers from two different well established law firms ..They helped carve out a perfect argument for you....They may get you off death row and in a regular jail until your retrial." said Brooke.

"I know that's not much, but it is an improvement from here...Death Row..."said Natalie.

"Yeah, anything is an improvement over here."said Alex Williams.

At that moment in a District Appellate Court...

Karen and Sean were arguing Alex Williams's case.. Challenging his death penalty, which they said was

"Severe and Unfair " and challenging his conviction period. Yvette and her team and Olivia and Beverly and their team had helped them carve out their argument...being veterens of these appellate court arguments.

The Judge was sympathetic.... He voided Alex's conviction and ruled that a new trial be ordered...

Alex was elated and transferred from death row to city jail the very next day.

We all went to visit him in the Big Prison Visiting Room..

And took him a Big Continental Breakfast..Bagels, Cream Cheese, Doughnuts and Coffee..

Alex looked a lot happier when we saw him this time...

"YOU GUYS ARE THE TRUTH....I admit...I was a little skeptical...but you delivered...You got my death sentence voided and got me out of that horrid place...Locked down 23 hours a day with no human contact...just waiting to die...It's inhuman...Here I have free reign , well sort of, all day..I can talk to other people...It's good..." he said.

"You're quite welcome.."said Karen, meeting him for the first time.

"And we are not through yet...we are going to retry your case, get you exonerated and freed completely."said Natalie.

She was wearing one of my favorite dresses...I loved it and I couldn't take my eyes off of her.. Or keep my hands off of her shapely legs...

Brooke smiled...

"Your retrial date hasn't been set yet...but we are already filing briefs to get the wheels in motion." said Brooke.

"Yes. Thanksgiving is soon..We hope you have some family coming up to see you."said Sean.

"My Mom and Pop are coming up...They would like to meet you...They are so grateful for what you guys did for me, getting me out of that Death sentence.and all." said Alex.

And at his office-Lt. Chris Curtis is not happy-

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? THEY MUST HAVE DISCOVERED THE BUGS!! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN UP ON THIS! I HAD NO IDEA THEY HAD PREPARED A CASE FOR APPELATE COURT!!! DAMN IT!!!DAMN IT!!!" he said.

''What do you want me to do?"asked Pamela Lundy.

"Pay Mrs. Karen Page-Benz another visit...get friendly with her...Some time has passed...Maybe she's forgotten about her drunken adventure and her night in the Cooler. I need information." said Lt.
Curtis.

It had been a successful two weeks...We really appreciated the help, Yvette, Olivia and their associates had done to help us with this case... It was two days before Thanksgiving...and we all had tomorrow off.

Natalie and I were relaxing at our house..Sitting on the couch kissing..
