Bully

 We usually take our clients to Night Court which gives them an easier chance of getting released on their own recognizance or reasonable bail... That wasn't the case with Ronnie Shanahan..

Her personal attorney, our good friend, wanted to get her out of jail as soon as possible. So he got her a hearing that Monday.....

She insisted on this because she didn't want to spend another day locked up...She had been arrested and charged on Friday and it was now Monday.. She had spent the entire weekend locked up...Such was the 

lot and attitude of a privileged princess.   She had been a semi successful rapper at one time and then a podcaster and social media influencer...but her marriage to wealthy Bitcoin entreprenuer , Danny Shanahan had been her real meal ticket and rise to fame and fortune.

So here we were in court facing Assistant District Attorney Matthew Muldoon Jr. , who we had faced before.

and the unusually difficult Judge ,James Wilson....of all people.

He had no love for us....He believed now that we had aided Public defender Adam Clarke

In his successful defense of Accused Murderer, Kathy Elliot. ( Which we did!)

And now here we were with Dexter Braxton , defending Ronnie Shanahan..a young Black Hip hop head accused of murdering her white sugar daddy...

Attorney Dexter Braxton appeared with Olivia, Myself, Beverly, Nelson, Josie and Bresha. in court. 

 

These proceedings usually were smooth, This being only a bail hearing....This was anything but.. It was very contentious...

Muldoon was going for the jugular ,painting Ronnie Shanahan as a flight risk......and asking that she be held either without bail or with a very high bail.

Josie and Bresha presented two charactor witnesses a piece...We couldn't get a fifth one..

 And Dexter Braxton argued brilliantly about his client's character and her lack of a criminal record.

The Judge all but dismissed all three of them... He had a special venom for Olivia, Beverly and Nelson.

He unloaded on those three almost as if it were personal...dismissing every single one of their objections...and talking to the three of them like they were petulant law students or children..

Beverly especially argued with him with a particular venom...

"Young lady I hope you're not making any plans for this afternoon because if you say one more word...just ONE MORE WORD!! I'LL HOLD YOU IN CONTEMPT AND YOU'LL FIND YOURSELF IN THE DAMN COOLER!" he said.

Beverly stared at him angrilly, but she didn't say anything..

"AND GET THAT LOOK OFF OF YOUR FACE...GET IT OFF!" he snarled..

"Neicey Poo, it's alright...Cool it...Go on outside...We'll handle this." said Olivia softly to Beverly, who was so angry, tears were flowing down the side of her face and her legs were shaking..

Tears were flowing down Beverly's face, she was so angry...Olivia hugged her....

"Honey Bun, come on....come on now...Let's walk outside..." said Nelson, walking her out of the courtroom...

"Mrs. Bennett-Alexander, I seriously urge you to teach your niece and all of your staff better courtroom decorum....Do you hear me?" said Judge Wilson...

Olivia stared at him now with blind rage...She wanted to cut him..She said Nothing.

"I SAID DID YOU HEAR ME??" he screamed..

"Respect goes both ways your honor...It's a two way street...You have to show some to get some.. You're a bully you know that?   I heard you...And you're going to HEAR FROM ME in a few days. I HOPE YOU HEARD THAT!!!"said Olivia.

I held her...She was angry and very close to being thrown in the cooler herself.

" ARE YOU THREATENING ME?   ARE YOU THEATENING ME ???WATCH YOURSELF YOUNG LADY!!!  I'M SETTING BAIL AT TWO MILLION DOLLARS!"he said snarkily....

"That's outrageously unfair."protested Olivia.

"Are you serious?" asked Josie.

"You can't be serious." balked Bresha..

Olivia, Josie and Bresha balked at such a high bail....They argued that it was unreasonable..

"I've made my motion and I don't want to hear anymore about it...IS THAT CLEAR??? DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR? YOU ALL HAD BETTER THINK ABOUT YOUR BEHAVIOR TONIGHT ,BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG TRIAL...I'LL TELL YOU THAT MUCH..." he snarled.

"It's alright...We can pay it. They only want 20 percent.."said Dexter diplomatically..

He signaled the Bail Bondsman, who we brought along just in case...

and Ronnie Shanahan walked out of court, a free woman but with an ankle monitoring bracelet on..

her left ankle...A Parting shot from Judge James Wilson.

Not a good day in court for us...

I told Nelson that when the "girls" are angered like this in court, expect a night of wild sex....

That night, what I said came to pass....

"Get your clothes off!" Olivia said...It was almost a command..

I didn't hesitate to undress.

Olivia and I were soon having wild, emotional non step sex that night...She was really angry and it was coming out...

"GIVE IT TO ME!! OUUUUUUUUU GIVE IT TO ME DADDY!" she screamed.....

I had her up on the dresser drawer, legs spread ,pounding into her with wild abandon....

"THE NERVE OF THAT MAN....OUUUUUUU GIVE IT TO ME DADDY...OUUUUUU!" she moaned loudly..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH GODDDDD!" I cried out

She sat on top of me and began to move up and down, kissing me like it was no tomorrow..

It was winter....extremely cold outside and she and I were drenched in sweat,,,, Good we had central air..

"OHHHHHHHHHH...UMMMMMMMMMM...OHHHHHH MY GOD OLIVIA!" I moaned.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUU HUSBAND, I LOVE YOU....I JUST LOVE YOU!" screamed Olivia.

"I LOVE YOU TOO!" I moaned.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" She screamed...

"GIVE IT TO ME!! OUUUUUUUUU GIVE IT TO ME DADDY!" she screamed.....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!OLIVIA!!!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH GODDDDD!" I cried out

We were making crazy love well into the night..

Beverly and Nelson were the same..

It was bad enough that they kissed each other off and on all day anyway...

but at home they were kissing from the time they got in the door until now...

He lifted her up and long stroked her... She smiled at him and cried like a little girl the entire time..

He placed her on the dresser drawer and spread her legs...Stroking her gently....

"OH HUSBAND, I LOVE YOU SO DAMN MUCH!!!OUUUUUUUUUU!" she screamed.

"HONEY BUN!" was all Nelson could manage to say..

"YOU SAVED THAT MAN'S LIFE TONIGHT....I WAS GONNA CUT HIM!" said Beverly..

and then on the bedroom floor...going at it doggie style.

Both Olivia and Beverly were furious at the Judge....and for now, they were taking their anger out by having sex...

Across the street.. Josie practically attacked her husband,Paris.

"Oh My Goddd, Josie.." said Paris as Josie eased herself down on him...

Spreading her legs and giving him all that he could handle..

"OHHHHHHHHHHH JOSIE!! JOSIE BABY!" he moaned.

"OUUUUUUUUUU PARIS, OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" she cooed.

Josie was laughing one minute, crying the next as Paris pounded her...

Josie and Paris were making love a lot anyway almost every night.....but if it was possible, the level of their sexual activity increased.

and a few doors down...

Poor Tony couldn't get in the door good.. Bresha was naked and ready for him..

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh...Ohhhhhhhhhh my God!!! Bree...Ouuuuuuuuuuuu" he moaned..

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM JUST PUT IT IN...PUT IT ALL IN..." cooed Bresha, as Tony obliged and lifted her , stroking her masterfully.

He spread her legs and began to stroke her masterfully...

"OHHHHHHHHHH...UMMMMMMMMMM...OHHHHHH MY GOD Bresha!" Tony moaned.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUU HUSBAND, I LOVE YOU....I JUST LOVE YOU!" screamed Bresha.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" she moaned..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"moaned Tony, who couldn't believe his good fortune.

Poor Tony! He didn't know what hit him when he got home.

I shouldn't say "Poor" Tony...He wasn't complaining.

II-

TWO DAYS LATER-

Judge James Wilson was going to learn today that he couldn't bully or intimidate everyone.....

For the first time in his legal career, he found himself being brought up before the Legal Ethics Board.

.He couldn't believe Olivia had the nerve to bring him up on charges...

Olivia brought him up on charges of unprofessional behavior and bias and asked that he be removed from the Veronica Shanahan trial in favor of another judge. She wrote up a brilliant dissertation arguing her case using legal predicates and examples of other like cases and general law.

It was very impressive!

 

I, Beverly, Nelson, Josie and Bresha all testified as to his outlandish and disrespectful behavior...

Beverly argued that he set bail extraordinarily high for such a case and that he did it out of pure spite.

Nelson argued that the Judge spoke to them as if they were children or law students at best.

Josie, like Beverly argued about his general tone and the difference of when he spoke to ADA Muldoon, compared to how he spoke to them..

Bresha asked that he be removed from the case in favor of another judge.

Judge Wilson wasn;t strutting around here...In fact ,he was surprisingly quite contrite.  Being brought up on charges and facing the legal ethics board wasn't a good look for someone hoping to get a federal judgeship.

Judge Wilson was represented by his attorney, H.Stanley Stanlison... a former Judge himself. For the first time he showed a bit of fear... One thing he didn't need in his quest to be a Federal Judge was any controversy or the appearance of impropriety in any way.....

H.Stanley Stanlison argued that James Wilson had impeccable reputation in the court and that he shouldn't be removed because "He hurt the feelings of a few attorneys."

This whole thing was bad, because this hearing also brought the press..

who weren't allowed in the proceedings but camped outside of the building, waiting for word.

U.S. Attorney ,Sean Marks represented Olivia and company and he too testified about Judge Wilson's behavior in and out of the court during the trial he had been a part of weeks before... He too argued that Judge Wilson should be removed from the trial..

H.Stanley Stanlison argued that due to the emotional nature of this case....That tempers may have flared on both sides.. He appealed for calm on both sides..His argument was eloquent enough!

The Jury of Judges voted 7-5 for Judge Wilson, a well known and respected judge to remain on the trial, but asked that he apologize to Olivia Bennett-Alexander and her team and to make some type of restitution.

It angered James Wilson to no end...No one had ever challenged him legally or asked that he be removed from a trial.  Many attorneys were too frightened and intimidated by him to do so. but he did apologize to Olivia and Beverly and their team...... sweating profusely and as red as a beet... 

 

He had bit the bullet this time ,just barely...He realized that Olivia was not to be played with...

He'd be a lot more careful with them...Next time....Yet his anger toward them remained.

He and his attorney dodged the press conference...He was very embarrassed. He prayed that this wouldn't sink his ability to get that Federal Judgeship... He hoped in the next few days it would fade away...

He refused an invite by B.L.

for an interview...but we didn't.

That night when we got home...

''Hey Guys, look what came here for you." said Alfreda. "It came from a caterer down town with an apology from Judge James Wilson.  Way to handle that bully Olivia."laughed Alfreda.

We knew that his Attorneys had probably sent this , along with the type written apology...No way he sent these food trays or a written apology.

There was meats and cheeses of all kinds, Cole Slaw...

and creamy pasta salad..as well as lettuce, tomatoes,pickles and condiments and hard rolls, Mayonnaise, Mustard and the like for making sandwiches.

 It was a lovely spread....

"Well we don't have to cook tonight.  Husband, get on the horn...invite our friends over." said Olivia.

 

"On it." I said , smiling..

"That Bully...We showed him."said Beverly.

''Don't get too comfortable.. He's still the Judge on our case..and he won't forget this...Just be ready."said Nelson.

"Yeah we got a battle ahead of us."said Josie.

"Well for now, let's enjoy these meats and cheeses."laughed Paris.

"I agree." said Bresha,.

"Yeah me too." said Paris.

''Let me get some paper plates and utensils.."said Alfreda.

"Yeah let's grab some sandwiches before that crowd gets here."joked Rockland.

There was plenty of meats and cheeses left for our friends when they arrived..

 

 "Ouuuuuuuuuu this looks delish, thanks for the invite Liv, Sorry we missed you guys in our building today."said Yvette.

"I heard you guys brought him up on charges....No other Attorney has ever done that...They're usually too scared..You guys showed him... I saw him when he came back from the hearing...He was as white as a sheet...He looked shook."laughed Gary.

"That's how you deal with a Bully, you gut punch em." said Keith Jones.

"Well Olivia and Beverly sure taught him."laughed Bee Bee

"The Important Thing is that He heard them...and they used the law and proper procedure to make their point." said Sofia.

"Yeah, but he's got important friends...They saw this.. I just hope the other shoe doesn't fall."said Kahlil.

"We defended Olivia and Bev successfully before..We'll do it again...There is more of us now."said Jade.

"I mean what can he do?  I don't think he wants another legal battle...He's trying to get an important

position on the Federal Bench...He doesn't want to muddy the waters...You all might have cost him that today." said Danny Ho.

"It's something about that Judge I don't like...I swear." said Virginia.

"I was one of the five that voted to remove him from the case today...but seven of my colleagues spared his butt..." said Jetty.

"The Old Boys Network does it everytime." said Jazzy.
 

"He's well connected...but he'll cool his jets after this.."said Dabnis.

"He's got powerful friends...They might try to come at Olivia and Beverly at some other time." said a worried Kayla.

"We had their backs before...We'll have it again.." said her husband Ray as he munched on a sandwich..

"That's right and it's more of us this go around." said Jessica.

"That's right."said her husband, Chip..

"Seems like they held their own quite well today, even though they didn't get the outcome they wanted." said Karen.

"Oh I don't know about that...You should have seen him when he left that hearing..He was as white asa a sheet....He got the message." laughed B.L.

Natalie laughed....''What was he before?" she laughed.

"I know what you meant B.L." laughed her husband, David ,who was sampling everything.

"And my baby was defending them....I'll bet he was shocked seeing you again huh?" said Brooke.

"Yeah he sure was....I'm looking into him....I'm going to get to the bottom of him...There is something evil, sinister about him." said Sean.

''Wow, you really got a thing about him Sean, ever since that trial." said Zoey.

"You think he killed somebody Sean?" joked Lem.

"I wouldn't put it past him." said Sean.

"That Judge is just a Bully who uses his position to intimidate people...Today he found out there are some people he can't frighten.." said Renee.

"Yeah...it's nice when the good guys win one."said her husband, Tyrell

"Yeah...I hope the good guys win when we go to trial." said Dexter, who was also with us tonight.

Erie Avenue-An Afternoon later!

New re-instated Assistant District Attorney Mellissa Wharton had gotten off the El and caught a bus, a bus which took her a few blocks away to the new apartment she was renting..

It was nice...In a fairly nice neighborhood. It was all she could afford right now. She didn't plan to stay here long...It was too close to the old neighborhood where she used to cop ,when she was using Heroin.  She had been clean for a year now and she aimed to stay that way.

A Mysterious man she had never seen before walked over to her just as she was getting ready to put the key in the door to her apartment complex.

"Hello Ms. Wharton, may I have a word with you?" he asked.

"Excuse me, do I know you?" she asked.

"No, but I know you and some other people of whose employ I am in know you too...You know a guy, another Assistant District Attorney named Matthew Muldoon don't you?" he said.

"We work together casually..but that's it.... Nothing romantic. What business is that of yours?" she asked.

"Lose his number, don't go to lunch with him anymore, don't have dinner with him, don't go out for drinks with him...Dis-associate yourself with him......and enjoy good health...." said the man, who produced a gun with a silencer and held it to her head.

"UNDERSTAND??" he said a little louder.

"Yes.....Yes....I-I understand...." she said, scared to death and shaking.....She didn't know what this was about but she wasn't going to press her luck...

"Good!  Glad we have an understanding." said the man , 

who vanished into the swell of people and walked the few blocks to the avenue where the Elevated Trains were.

The Next day at an Olde City Deli.

Judge James Wilson met with Senator Hawkins....Over some Corn Beef Specials and Cokes..

"I took care of the little problem with the Muldoon kid. You won't have to be worried about him and that young lady who just got out of rehab...It was done nice and quietly and my name is not on it. I also happen to be hearing a big case he is trying." he said.

"Good, Good...and about that trial....You nearly got yourself booted off that case...You were over the top in a bail hearing James...a Bail hearing....You got called up before the Board of Ethics...That doesn't look good for you...You missed getting censored and kicked off of that case by a mere two votes...We are going to let this thing ride it self out in the newspapers...It really doesn't look good... Some liberal elements in our government will certainly use this incident against you....You attacked a Black woman Attorney, a group of Black attorneys who are well known and have connections.  That is not going to play well...We want to be as low key as possible." said Senator Hawkins...

as he enjoyed his corn beef special and some chips.

Later in Judge Wilson's Office...

Young Attorney and Fixer, Gabriel Martell walked into the Judges office... He had dossiers..

"Here are the dossiers you wanted your honor." he said.

"You're checking out the Judge eh?" I laughed.

"I'm sure he's checking us out too!  He's got an axe to grind with us.. He believes and rightly so that we aided Public Defender Adam Clarke in his victory in court with Kathy Elliot and now we happen to be involved in this new trial in his courtroom...I imagine the hair on his neck is raising." said Olivia.

"The Hair on the back of my neck is raising." I joked.

"You sure it's not another part of your anatomy that's raising.?" she asked, smiling at me.

"It could be.." I chuckled as I undressed.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU LOOK AT YOUUUUU!" she said as we began kissing...

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM YOU SMELL GOOD AND YOUR SKIN IS SO SOFT!" I remarked.

"THANK YOU!" she said..

"OUUUUUUUUUUU YOUR LIPS ARE SOFT!"she said as we continued kissing.

I rubbed her butt softly.....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" she remarked.

I slipped her panties down slowly....

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm...ouuuuuuuuuuuuu Donnie Rayyyyy!" Olivia moaned as I flipped her over and entered her slowly.....She was good and wet and her body was trembling something fierce.....

She wrapped her arms around my neck and spread her legs wider as I began humping away....

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU DONNIE RAYYYYYY!" she moaned softly.

I didn't know if I was coming or going at this point..

"OH MY GOD OLIVIA, OH MY GOD!!!" I moaned...as we made sweet love on this brisk winter afternoon.

Beverly and Nelson had gone to the Food Court a few blocks away for a Slice of Pizza and a Coke

Beverly held her husband's hand and softly rubbed it.

He smiled at her.

A few of their friends had also come out tonight, Jazzy, Dabnis, Cousin Kayla, Ray,Jessica, Chip, Natalie, David,Brooke,Sean  and Renee and Tyrell...

Nothing had been planned...Seemed like everybody wanted some Pizza and a Coke tonight! They had all gotten in their cars and driven the six blocks they would have normally walked in the summer.

"This was nice, all of us coming out tonight like this spontaneously."said Jazzy...
 

"Yeah when we lived in the condos downtown, we didn't have any friends to pop out with."said Dabnis.

"I know, moving around here was definitely a plus." said Kayla.

"I know I like it."said Ray...

"Josie and Bresha didn't come out tonight...What a shame."said Jessica.

"I'm sure they, along with Keith and Beatrice and Sofia and Kahlil are doing just fine."laughed Chip.

Imagining them all in the throes of passion.....in their warm homes.

"This is a nice night. Cold, but nice." said Natalie.

"Wasn't nothin good on TV...Might as well hang out."said David.

"I love you guys.."said Brooke, sitting on her husband's lap.

Her husband, Sean smiled at her.

"I can't help but feel we are being watched.." said Renee.

"I know....it's creepy."said her husband, Tyrell.

Outside in an unmarked car with shaded windows....they were being watched.

Judge Wilson was sitting in his car ,basically looking at Brooke, surrounded by her friends of color.

"Brooke, Brooke, how I want you....What are you doing here?" he moaned as he watched them all enjoy their pizza.
