A Rainy Friday Morning...

We were all in the safety of the Bridge Building

In our conference room.. When Kahlil and Ms. Jade came in with tumblers of coffee for everyone..

"Coffee...Coffee for everyone." said Kahlil.

"Get it while it's hot."laughed Ms. Jade.

As they passed a coffee to each of us..

"Ummmmm thank you...Just what the Doctor ordered for a rainy day." said Ms. Yvette.

"That was something...Ms. Anna's husband hitting her with divorce papers last night in Josies." I said.

"Forget the Divorce papers.... He hit her..literally.." said Bee Bee.

"I didn't like that...Maybe Gary and Donnie Ray should of gone after him and punched him....Let him know how it feels." said Sofia.

''Married people's business...It was best they stayed out of it... She told them to let it go anyway." said Kahlil.

"Well in other news ,I found out who all those bras and panties belong to...Some of them were brand new, still had the sales tags on them...It was easy for me to trace them to the lingerie store. They came from Bridget's Store,Panty's Galore and they belong to non other than this cool chick." said Jade ,placing a glossy photo

of Everly Castor the Assistant Station Manager on the table.

Elsewhere on this rainy day at Olivia and Beverly's house.

Anna had just finished eating breakfast with Olivia and the gang..

"That's okay...I guess I deserved that for cheating on him.."said Anna.

"Only once...Two or Three years ago...He slapped me...but that was the only time."said Anna.

"That was one time too many." said Nelson.

"Yeah you don't need that...Good Riddance to him..I can represent you in your divorce if you like."said Josie.

"I have to agree with my protoge's...No One needs a physically abusive man..I'm surprised at Jason."said Olivia.

"You know him Liv?" asked Alfreda.

"I did , years ago....I didn't know he was abusive..."said Olivia.

Anna's personal phone was ringing..

"Hello Everly...How are you?" asked Anna.

"Knock it off...In lieu of your recent scandalous situation...We are taking your show off the air indefinitely and replacing it with the Bobby and Robby Show.." she said.

"I'm afraid I can...Our Corporate Parent does not like controversy...They wanted me to terminate you and disassociate ourselves from you....but that's a discussion for another day...I just thought I'd give you a heads up."said Everly...

ONE HOUR LATER-WZZT- FM STUDIOS

"Well I'll be...It didn't take Anna anytime at all to sick her lawyers on me...You do know we have lawyers too!"said Everly...

"I'm sure you do and we welcome them...but what we have here is a legal contract drawn up by them...Which says you have no grounds to terminate our client or remove her radio show from it's present place...without due cause....She has only been charged with committing a crime...not convicted. We are going to assume she is innocent and this is all just a mistake."said Yvette.

''And this was signed by two of your lawyers and the late Corey Ruffin." I said.

''So we are in effect saying Cease and Desist.." said Bee Bee with a snarky smile.

"You understand that don't you?" asked Sofia.

''Sure she does and she knows how to read." said Kahlil.

"Oh by the way...where were you two weeks ago at the time of Mr. Ruffin's untimely death? were you buying more panties for your personal drawer in his apartment?" asked Jade.

The rain poured down at night....

It was Friday Night and we all went out to the No I.D. Bar Across the street from where most of us worked...

"They're at their office...."He's nuts." laughed Danny Ho.

"He needs serious psychiatric attention...That Sensitivity training did nothing for him."said Virginia.

"Most people don't take those mandatory sessions serious anyway." said Jetty.

"I like this place....I was only in here once.. I always thought this was a Hipster Bar."said Anna, who came out with us tonight...She didn't like being couped up...And she would have wanted to be out with us tonight.. She wouldn't have liked being all alone in Olivia's sub-basement and all of us out drinking and partying.

"It is a hipster bar...Look at the other clientele. But on Friday Nights and Saturday Mornings., we take it over."said Olivia.

"They have a great brunch...Simply great...You'll see when you come out with us tomorrow."said Donnie Ray.

''And after brunch..we are all going across the street to their gym and spa and work out."said Beverly..

"Unless you want to stay here in the bar until we are finished.. A number of us guys choose to stay and drink and watch the games after Brunch..."said Nelson.

"I think I might do both..I really like hanging out with you guys..."said Anna...
