as he rode to work today on the train....His car was in the shop, so he chose to commute...

Two stops after he got on the train, he noticed some very familliar faces..

Natalie Tennison, Now Natalie Charles, A former ADA, now a member of the Wrongful Conviction/Conviction Integrity Unit and her colleagues,

Her husband, David Charles, the Public Defender, who won a huge case...Nicknamed ''David who slew Goliath" He obviously slew Natalie...a woman he once coveted himself...What a lucky man, he thought...She must drive him absolutely Bananas in the bed..he thought.

And Brooke Kennedy, now Marks, another woman he coveted himself and her Black husband,

Sean Marks, A Federal Public Defender....Impressive, he thought...

At the next stop some more familiar figures got on...

Yvette Jones-Lockwood and her crew of Keith Jones, his wife, Beatrice Jones, Sofia Garcia Ahmed, her husband, Kahlil Ahmed and their investigator, Jade Lee....Virginia Shaw-Dukes, who now worked for Yvette as an office manager and her husband, Judge Jetty Dukes... They all seemed so cozy and friendly with the last four that got on...Yvette's crew had beaten him resoundedly in a big case a year ago... He hadn't forgotten...He had gotten over it though...

He saw sexy Jazmine Coley, the former Assistant District Attorney and former Public Defender, who he saw in court from time to time, with her husband...

And Olivia 's other niece or cousin, Kayla Bennett-St. Jacques,.with her husband. Ray.. He had never known he could be attracted to so many Black Girls...

He saw annoying Innocence Project attorneys, Jessica Sanchez Burrows, who he thought was hot and her husband, Charles Burrows, they called him "Chip.

There was two other guys with them, who he didn't know...He assumed they were attorneys also.,

Tony Billips was an attorney, Paris was a Para-legal.

And prickly Assistant District Attorney, Rockland Cambridge, who was married to Olivia's office manager, the mother of her niece, Beverly West....He wondered if they all rode the train to work everyday.

They all got on the same two stops , so they obviously lived near each other...

He looked at his laptop again...

He looked around... All of the attorneys he had just seen had all gotten off the train...None of them worked in Center City anymore...

Only Rockland remained....

And they both got off at City Hall.

THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY DANIEL VARNIER

Dan Varnier took a look at the Tyrell Jones case file

He looked up and saw a familliar face staring at him...Assistant District Attorney Bruce Green.

"Good Morning Dan....I 'll get right to why I am here...I want you to make me second chair on this...I can help you....I know this guy and I am familliar with the attorneys you will be going up against." said Bruce Green.

"I know him too! He's the Bailiff in the courthouse...He's a law student, about four weeks from graduating...What a waste...and as for the attorneys defending him...I'm sure you do know them, they mopped the floor up with you recently....HAHAHAHAHAHAH! The Answer is NO! One ,I do not need a second chair and two Both D.A. Garcetti and DDA Burke told me not to let you anywhere near this case....In fact....You shouldn't be in my office right now...There is nothing I can do for you Bruce...even if I wanted to...Which I don't.....Good Bye." said Daniel Varnier, who was just as egotisical as Bruce Green, but a little easier to take..

"I'll remember this Dan, I'LL REMEMBER THIS!" said Bruce Green, who stormed out of his office...

And meanwhile at our Office /Duplex, we were just finishing breakfast...

We were all sitting around the kitchen table.

"Godddd, I'm gonna miss these good breakfasts when this all over..."said Tyrell Jones..

"You have a fine cafeteria right there in the courtroom and there is Sam Mother's Diner just blocks away....Of course...You may be a target of Lt. Tragg now, which is why none of our friends eat there much anymore.."said Olivia.

"We do order our meals on line and they deliver to us...from time to time...but people like Lt. Tragg and now Bruce Green and Bull Bailey make it impossible to eat in there in peace ,without hearing their incessant whining and grievances and threats and insults." said Beverly.

"Somebody is going to clock Lt. Tragg one of these days."said Tyrell..

"You're late man...Do you know how many people have cleaned his clock? He just never learns..."said Nelson...

"You were there the time he grabbed and hit Dabnis, Jazzy's husband and he knocked him out cold....."said Josie..

Tyrell laughed... "Yeah I remember that.....Tore the arms off his suit jacket, bloodied his nose, his eyes were swollen shut nearly, his lip was swollen...That was funny...."laughed Tyrell..

"Well, we've got to help you beat these murder charges....Your whole future hangs in the balance...You're about to graduate law school...When I was at this point...I was just relaxing, dreaming about my future, not facing life in prison or worse, the death penalty."said Bresha on a sobering note..

""Relax Bree, None of us is going to let that happen...We've been working too hard."said Olivia, rubbing her back and reassuring her..

"Tall Dark and Southern is here...Sit down, I still have a few pancakes left or would you like an egg?" said Alfreda.

"Pancakes are fine...Thanks Freda.." I said.. "Okay I have some interesting news....It appears our killer may have made a mistake.. My guy over at Police Headquarters tells me that that gun, the murder weapon had the serial number scraped off or theree was an attempt to scrape it off...but they traced
it..They determined that this gun was legally purchased and registered to a C.W. Mapp...He has a small plane out at Northeast airport....He is known for transporting things back and forth..Legal things and Illegal things if you get my drift....He was last prosecuted by, wait for it...Bruce Green, who dropped charges on him for transporting a cache of drugs from Mexico to Philly by his plane... The drugs mysteriously vanished and he was let off the hook..."I said.

''So where is he now?" asked Nelson..

"I don't know...but here is where it gets cute....The week leading up to his wife's murder....ADA Bruce Green made three long calls from his phone to C.W. Mapp....The day before his wife died.. He withdrew $1500.00 in cash from his account...The day after she was killed.. He withdrew another $1500.00 from his account... and get this... Two days later... C.W. Mapp desposited $3000.00 in his account.. Co-incidence?? I'm of the belief that there aren't too many co-incidences in this life.." I said.

"That does look suspicious and I'm with you on all of that Donnie Ray...but he took out cash...From a legal standpoint...It's very hard to follow that money....It's not like wired money or a transfer...He took out cash, that could be for anything...and unless we saw him pass that money to this C.W. Mapp, it would be hard to prove."said Beverly...

"Yeah but we could ask him directly in court.....Would he be willing to perjure himself?" asked Nelson...

"For conspiracy to commit murder??? Him , An Assistant District Attorney....I bet he would."said Josie.

"Maybe , but it's still a good idea to subpoena him...Shake him up a little."said Olivia, smiling that sexy grin of hers....

''What about C.W. Mapp?"asked Bresha..

"We'll find him...Subpoena him too!" said Olivia, with a smile.

At Sam Mother's Diner...Bruce Green and Lt. Tragg sat having breakfast and talking..

"Garcetti and Burke won't let me anywhere near the case... They've put Danny Varnier on the case." complained Bruce Green.

"Arghhhhhhhhh that pretty boy.....He doesn't have the stones to take down Olivia and Beverly...damn it...but it don't matter...I've put together a solid case...It's a paint by the numbers case.. He'll get em.."assured Lt. Tragg.

''You sure of that Lieutenant?" asked Olivia , who showed up with her niece, Beverly by her side and her client, Tyrell Jones. "You wanted to see my client...well here he is." she said.

"See, he didn't skip town and he didn't cause any mayhem."said Beverly..

Tyrell said nothing....He just stared balefully at both Lt. Tragg and ADA Bruce Green...

''Where is the rest of your motley crew?" sneered Lt. Tragg.

"No Need for them to be here...My Neicey Poo and I came here to see you Bruce, to present you with this."said Olivia.

She passed Bruce Green a subpoena...

"That's called a subpoena....For you, bedtime reading...See ya in court."said Beverly, smiling.

"WHA...WHY...I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!" said Bruce Green...

Finally Tyrell spoke - "You wanted to be part of my trial...Now you are, Testifying for my defense as a hostile witness." he said and laughed as the three of them walked out....

There wasn't going to be dinner served today.

Alfreda was fixing Rockland dinner at home tonight...

Paris and Tony had brought their wives, Josie and Bresha to go platters from their building's cafeteria and they would be eating at home, alone with each other tonight..

Beverly was cleaning up the law library....with help from her husband, Nelson...

"You should have seen Bruce Green's face when we presented him with a subpoena..." said Beverly...

"I'll bet his head exploded.." said Nelson...as they finished filing away everything and tidying up....

He pulled Beverly to him...held her in his arms....

"I uh imagine that uh something inside you is uh about to explode...tee hee..." giggled Beverly, rubbing her index finger across Nelson's lips...

"Indeed..." said Nelson....

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" giggled Beverly...

Of all the guys she had kissed...She enjoyed kissing Nelson the most..He had big soft lips...He enjoyed kissing her too..and squeezing her..He once told her that she was so cute and sexy that sometimes he didn't know if he wanted to make love to her or just hold her and squeeze her tight...

He slipped her panties down...

He lifted Beverly up and entered her again....kissing her slowly and softly...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" she squealed.....her head turning from side to side and her body trembling...she was having a quick orgasm....her legs and her toes were shaking.....

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW LAWWWWWWWWWWD!" Nelson yelled out...

Olivia and I sat in our car on the Airstrip..

"My Niece usually comes with you on these junkets...I think you just brought me here to kiss and make out."laughed Olivia.

"The thought did cross my mind, but this is serious... C.W. Mapp is essential to our case.. He just came in today....He doesn't live too far from the airstrip..." I said as we drove across the Northeast Airport strip.

His apartment complex was on the other side at the very edge of the city....

But when Olivia and I arrived, we found we were too late...

"Looks like a suicide..." said one of the Crime Scene Investigators....

Dr. Hazel Baylor felt the hand...

"Body temp and lack of rigor says he died within the past hour....Olivia! Donnie Ray!! What are you doing here?" asked Hazel..

"I was going to serve him a subpoena..."said Olivia.

"I wanted to ask him some questions." I said..

''He won't be answering any questions ever again or appearing in court..."said Dr. Marcy Martin, who took the gun out of hands..

a .40 caliber just like the one that had killed Mrs. Thelma Green...Half of his head was gone from the impact....blood was everywhere....It was a grisly sight... As A Homicide detective, I had seen my share of sights like this.

There was a bottle of Tequilla on the kitchen table....one half drank, the other empty....

There was a photo of the slain Thelma Green on the table...in her panties and bra....

Olivia saw the photo and used her phone to snap the photo of the scene...

"Now why would her photo be here in his apartment? There was no reason to believe that he even knew her." said Olivia.

"Really! Why would he have this photo in his apartment? And is this a suicide? It looks pretty suspect... There is no letter." I said.

We watched as the body was wheeled out of the apartment complex...It was going to be written up as a suicide...but I wondered.

We drove back to our Office/Duplex-

Beverly and Nelson were standing outside , kissing and laughing..

"OUUUUUUUUUUU OHHH HUSBAND, THAT WAS AWESOME!" said Beverly....

"HONEY BUNNNN, OH MY GODDDD!" said Nelson..

as they continued kissing....

''Get a room!" I laughed.

Beverly eased out of Nelson's embrace and laughed... "So did you subpoena. C.W. Mapp?" she asked.

''Well we tried, but we couldn't...HE'S DEAD! Suicide!!! The gun was in his hand and two bottles of tequilla and this photo on the table beside the body..."said Olivia.

A glossy of Mrs. Thelma Green in her bra and panties.

"Where did he get this photo from? Did he know her?" asked Nelson...

Nelson had Beverly's lipstick on his collar and all over his lapel...

Olivia took some wet wipes and wiped his collar and his lapel off...She smiled at him...She knew how much he adored her niece and how much her niece adored him.

"I don't know.. but the murder weapon belonged to him...He had another gun just like it...He was suddenly $3000.00 richer after the murder and had left town...Now he's back and dead!There are a lot of questions that need to be answered here! Letting us find this was a big mistake!" I said.

"Indeed it was a real big mistake." said Nelson.

THE NEXT MORNING!

Assistant District Attorney Bruce Green sat in Sam Mother's Diner reading the morning paper...

He was astounded by an item on page three...

Police Investigate Suicide of Area man...

The body of C.W. Mapp, a pilot of a small cargo plane was found yesterday in his apartment ,dead, apparently of a self inflicted gunshot wound...There was no note left behind...but a photo of recently slain Thelma Green, wife of ADA Bruce Green...

A Bailiff, Tyrell Jones is awaiting charges on her murder!

He was astounded.... What was Mapp doing back in town...He had paid him $3000.00 in cash and told him to leave town and not return until after the trial...WHY DID HE COME BACK and where did he get a photo of his wife from...What kind of photo was it?

He hoped Olivia and Beverly didn't know about this.. Sweat was running down his back... He also didn't know what questions they wanted to ask him...

He didn't want Lt. Tragg to know about this either....

He looked up...and there we were.. We had all been in court to file a motion regarding this case.. The Preliminary hearing was tomorrow...

''Well look who's here..Don't say anything to him....I don't want hi to know we know about C.W. Mapp." said Olivia.

"He knows about it....He looks like he could use a laxative right about now.." I said.

Beverly cracked up laughing...

"Oh wow...how the plot thickens..." said Nelson..

"I want some of those thick pancakes myself." said Josie.

"Me too!" said Bresha.

So did Tyrell, who sat with us....He looked at Bresha...how she had matured since he met her..From a shy law school graduate ,who had just passed the bar, to full associate attorney...Sure of herself...It made her look and seem that more attractive and sexy....He could no longer have her, but he wished he could meet someone just like her...

Lt. Tragg walked in... He saw Bruce sitting there and he walked over to him....

"Hey Bruce...This guy, this guy they found dead in his apartment yesterday....He had a photo of your wife in her underwear on his dresser drawer...What was that? Was she possibly balling him too?" asked Lt. Tragg..
