''We are going to miss you being in our suite." said Jazzy.

"I want to thank you for your hospitality....but I'm only moving down the hallway into the newly renovated office space..This new mayor, She is really progressive and loved the work the WRONGFUL CONVICTION UNIT was doing..She was floored when she found out that I didn't have a staff or any other full time attorneys working with me or even an office...

"My boss, District Attorney Gil Garcetti lied and said that he was waiting for an opening in this building and that he fully intended to send me some help...Come on, take a walk with me down to my new suite." said ADA Karen Page...

Jazzy and Kayla followed Karen down the hall to her new suite..

"I'm going to have glass partitions put up with doors...They'll be able to see each other...but they'll have privacy when they're on the phone." said Karen.

"My Associate attorneys will be working in here."said Karen.

"Do you know who will be coming?" asked Jazzy...

"No Not exactly...Gil told me, one guy...the only male...Is A Former Public Defender , who is very good.. and The two ADA's are in his words "superstars"..We'll see... They'll start in the new year...

One of the ADA's just got married and they are moving into their new residence, while the uh former Public defender and the other ADA are a couple and are moving in together...I hope that won't be a problem." said Karen... It shouldn't be... Gil said all three individuals are very professional...

I will still be working with the great attorneys I have been working with on these cases..

Olivia and her guys, Yvette and her guys and Jessica and Chip... but I'll have additional Attorneys of my own to help out and to take some of the weight off of me...

and look.. They even gave me a conference room." gushed Karen.

Showing them the conference room...

"It's not much, but I can add some chairs." said Karen.

"Karen this is just fine...This is nice...."gushed Kayla.

"You didn't even have a conference room in our suite...Just a desk and a filing cabinent. You won't have to book conference room time with us anymore.Awwwwwww!" said Jazzy.

"I'm right down the hall, you two better come visit me every morning!" said Karen, hugging Jazzy and Kayla. Remembering that she was in this building a whole year by herself... She was ecstatic when Jazzy's firm 

moved in and gave her an office in their suite and Jazzy's friend, Kayla, 

cousin of her old law school classmate ,Olivia Bennett-Alexander  also came to work... Then she had two friends.. 

Not long after, both of their husbands moved in down stairs...and then Jessica and Chip and Yvette, another law school classmate and friend and her whole staff moved in with

 young Tony Billips all in one week last year and now she feels warm and cozy...

Many of these attorneys she had worked with before.. She had tried cases against them, and worked side by side with them...They were friends...and she liked all of them being together in this building..Eating meals together, using the gym together.. She loved it down here.. They told her when she took this assignment that she'd be buried down here , away from Center City..She didn't feel buried at all.. She loved it.

"Your phone is ringing." said Kayla.

They all said she and Brooke would be "Buried " down there...cut away from everybody and everything... But she and Brooke knew better..

All of their friends worked in that building...They had a dynamite cafeteria...and a gym...She and Brooke were looking forward to it.

They took a hot shower together... Got dressed and with Natalie, leading him gently by the hand, they left her apartment complex and headed into town to Sam Mother's Diner.

A Car pulled up in front of Sam Mother's Diner...

District Attorney Garcia sat at the table with Judge Jetty Dukes and Assistant District Attorney and head of the Wrongful Conviction Unit, Karen Page..

"Guys...this is your new staff.... Karen meet Assistant District Attorneys Brooke Kennedy, oh I'm sorry , it's Marks now...She recently got married! and Natalie Tennison, my little superstars and former Public Defender, David Charles , who did a stellar defense just recently....He's now on our team and effective today on your team Karen... In addition, Judge Jetty Dukes of the Legal Ethics Board has agreed to step down from his position on the board and work with us as our on site Judge of these cases... You said you needed support...You got it babe and I hope you like your new office." said Gil Garcetti.

"Hey Karen...I'm gonna love working with you."said Jetty.

''And you'll be closer to Virginia... I know you'll love that." joked Karen to Jetty, who had actually sat in on the last few Wrongfully Convicted cases she had had..

"Hi Karen, I'm pleased to be working with you,First time since I interned under you....I'm tired of putting people in jail..It'll be nice to help them get out." said Brooke, who was seriously thinking about quitting the D.A.'s office at one point before this job was offered to her..

"Hi Karen, I'm pleased to be working with you....and like my good friend, Brooke said ,I'm tired of putting people in jail too!..It'll be nice to help them get out. and I look forward to working with some of the attorneys you hire to plead these cases out..." said Natalie.. She too was seriously thinking of leaving the D.A.'s office when this job was offered to her.

"Hello Karen...I've heard of the good work you 've done ,running this unit by yourself.....I look forward to assisting you." said David Charles....

"I know you guys tried cases against Olivia Bennett-Alexander and her team and Yvette Jones and her team before and then became friends with them... Well...you'll be happy to know that you will be working with them in my unit, because I routinely hire those two teams to try these cases as well as Jessica Sanchez-Burrows and her husband, Charles Burrows...You knew those two when you both were Public Defenders, so it'll all work out just fine.They will be ecstatic to work with you...and I am pleased to have your help..." said Karen.

"EXCELLENT...LET'S EAT PEOPLE!! IT'S ON MY DIME!" said the District Attorney.

Pancakes, Sausages, Hash Browns, Eggs ,Orange Juice and Coffee was served.

Lt. Tragg watched the entire thing...

''What is this meeting about Sam?  It's not often the D.A. meets with his underlings." Lt. Tragg laughed.

This was one of the rare times that he ordered food and didn't make a nuiscance of himself...

"Brooke Marks, Natalie Tennison and uh that guy that used to be a Public Defender, David Charles will all be working with Karen Page's Wrongful Conviction Unit...I think Judge Dukes will be part of the team too!  Karen had been complaining that she would like some help, so Garcetti got it for her...This is kinda like a meet and greet breakfast."said Sam Mother.

"What she meant was she's lonely and bored as hell all the way down near Penns Landing in that building by herself.... New modern building or not...She's down there by herself.. She needed company...None of the other ADA's wanted that assignment.. they say that's where you go to die.. Heh heh heh...I've been down there a few times...She's miserable...Now she's got a little company.. I don't envy her..Heh heh heh!"laughed Lt. Tragg..

Lt. Tragg didn't know and he wasn't going to tell him that Karen hadn't been alone down there in a few years... She had lots of company... Jasmine and Dabnis Coley, Kayla Bennett- St. Jacques and her husband, Ray, Jessica Sanchez-Burrows and her husband, Charles "Chip" Burrows, Young Tony Billips, Yvette Jones-Lockwood and her staff, Keith Jones,his wife, Beatrice Evans-Jones, Sofia Garcia-Ahmed, her husband, Kahlil Ahmed, Jade Lee Ho, their investigator and Virginia Shaw-Dukes...All former customers , who he only saw when they had court dates or occassionally on the weekends were working in that building.. All of whom avoided coming here largely because of Lt. Tragg and his insistence on annoying them, brow beating them, whining and complaining and picking fights with some of them...

He had been down to their building...He saw the beautiful cafeteria they had 

and the gym...

No, Karen had been thriving down there...She was surrounded by friends and that building had a lot to offer, which was why you rarely saw any of them... Lt. Tragg was wrong..and now Karen was about to be "bombarded" with even more people.

She hadn't gone there to die..She wasn't Buried...She was thriving!

4 Uhaul trucks drove up in front of the new apartment complexes...about 7 Blocks North of where Olivia, Yvette and all of their new found friends lived..

Clerow and Owen Todd brought  a crew of movers, 28 men to be exact to move all of their things into their new homes....

''Welcome to this area.. A few blocks from here...There is  Three Shopping Centers, filled with supermarkets of your choice, clothing stores..Phone providers, Game Shops, Restaurants, you name it..There is Multiplex there for movies , You've all been to Josies, Aqua Bar, Stoleys and the Mermaid Crab Tavern...They're all here..."said Bonita..

"There is a suburban train station directly behind this building that will help you commute to your job at the Bridge Building , where you'll probably see some of your friends and co -workers in that building...They get on at the next stop." said Sepia.

Showing them the train station...

"And as you can see...you can park your cars in the garage here." she said.

"Howdy Neighbors.....I'm Zoey Anderson, this is my husband, Lem...We live in the next block." she said. She was carrying a pie.

"You might remember us from the time you ate dinner at Olivia's house or uh the time we were all in Curley's bar. Welcome to the neighborhood." said Lem...

''Yeah I remember you guys.. Thank you...Nice to know we aren't totally isolated from the world.." said Natalie..

"I remember you guys.." said David Charles..

"Zoey you and I have talked in Sam Mother's Diner a number of times...Yes, I remember you, from Liv's place too!" said Brooke 

''Well I'm pleased to make your acquaintence just the same." said Sean, who was the only one who didn't know Zoey and Lem..

Two Mini Buses drove up.....

Jazzy,  Kayla and Beverly were the first one's Natalie saw...,

''Not me...but my wife, Nat and David will be working with you guys...I'm still with the Fed you know." said Sean Marks..

"We are sooo glad to be living close to you guys and be working at the Bridge.." said Brooke.

"Mannnnnn, reunited with my girls.." said Natalie.

"This is so cool..." said  David Charles, glad to see them all..

"WELCOME BROOKE, WELCOME NAT, WELCOME CHARLES AND WELCOME SEAN....We are soooooo happy to have you guys here....We look forward to you guys partying with us...Dining with us...at our homes and out...Our circle of friends just got bigger.."said Olivia, who was overjoyed...

"I see you have movers....Well we have able hands to help you get your places set up and we brought food." I said.

"Our Catering truck is coming soon...Hope you're hungry because we brought dinner."said Josie.

"You just tell us how you want things, where you want them set up and we'll do it.."said Paris..

"WELCOME!!!! WE ARE SOOO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!" said Bresha. These apartments are just a block away from where She, Tony and Josie had lived...remembering her and Josie's early walks to work when she was an intern, before both women got married and bought homes on the block where they worked.

"WELCOME YALL, IT'LL BE NICE HAVING YOU GUYS IN OUR BUILDING!" said Tony.

"The Best thing about it all...You don't have to be worried about Lt. Tragg..He has no clue that everybody works in that building, so you don't have to be bothered with him."said Alfreda.

"Amen to that...Welcome you guys.."said Rockland..

"HOLA...WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND OUR BUILDING!" said Jessica.

"YEAH!! WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND OUR BUILDING!"said her husband, Chip.

"WELCOME BROOKE, WELCOME NAT, WELCOME CHARLES AND WELCOME SEAN....We are soooooo happy to have you guys here....We look forward to you guys hanging out with us.."said Yvette.

"WELCOME BROOKE, WELCOME NAT, WELCOME CHARLES AND WELCOME SEAN. Brooke, Natalie, Charles..I'll be your investigator... Karen shares me with Rockland." said Gary..

''Hey Guys, welcome to the neighborhood.. So glad to see you."said Keith Jones..

"Three less people for Lt. Tragg to torture.." said Danny Ho, who had witnessed Lt. Tragg and Natalie going at each other a few weeks ago.

"I'm glad to have a five day a week job again..." said Jetty, who was also part of the team...

"You took that job  to be close to me.. You just want to be all up under me.."said Virginia..

"I love them.." said Natalie, remembering the week she and Charles spent at Olivia and Beverly's house..The best two weeks of her life, she thought.

Charles thought fondly about that week...That was the week he finally got the girl of his dreams.. He pinched himself every morning when he woke up...He couldn't believe it was true.. He now had a new job in a new building....a new zip code and a new girlfriend... Meaning he'd be getting laid on a regular basis now...He couldn't believe it.

They Went in Natalie and David's Apartment  first , it was gorgeous.....

And then next door to Brooke and Sean's place.. everybody was blown away by both of their apartments..

For the first time since they'd known each other, they lived next door to each other...and soon they'd be 

working at a new job in a new building...for a new direct supervisor....They loved it..

There was food, Good SOUL  Food.. That was catered and enjoyed by all....

The crowd dissipated by midnight....

''HEY THANKS FOR THE FOOD AND THE HELP!" said Sean..
