FRIDAY NIGHT- THE NO I.D. BAR-

We were all once again at the No I.D. Bar, our regular Friday Night Hang out spot. 

"This has been a very good last two days...Tomorrow after Brunch I'm going home and wash my hair."said Olivia, sitting on my lap and drinking a Martini.

"Me and you are going to catch up where we left off last night."said Josie wickedly to her husband...She was sitting on his lap, sipping a Martini also...

"Snuggle up and watch a movie on TV with some popcorn..."laughed Dabnis.

"That sounds romantic... I'm tired of going out..I think I want to relax at home.."said Kayla.

"Sounds like a good idea." said Ray..

"Couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday Afternoon." said Chip.

"I've got some laundry to do...and then I may settle down with a good book." said Karen.

"People usually are when they approach us like this." I said and smiled.

"My most recent boyfriend, who I broke up with a week ago was found dead...Multiple stab wounds...

He had been dead for close to two days when they found him."said Ingrid.

"So you two were broken up...Why are you in trouble?" asked Beverly.

"His Body was found in the trunk OF MY CAR!  and I have no idea of how his body got there."said Ingrid...

"Ouuu that does sound like you're in trouble or about to be." said Beverly.

"OUUUUUUUU NOW THAT IS TROUBLE!" said Nelson.

"Lt. Tragg had me down at the precint grilling me all day in that smelly interrogation room.. I was surprised he let me go...but you all know how he is...I'm certain he's going to charge me at any minute."

said Ingrid.

"Knowing him, he won't look any further than you.." said Josie.

"He won't go any further than that....He always goes for the easiest target." said Bresha.

"I've packed an overnite bag in a rental car...I'm going to go find a hotel to stay at for now."said Ingrid.

"Ingrid.....Follow our buses when they come to pick us up...You can stay with us in the sub-basement of my Office /Duplex... We have a finished basement with a comfortable bed.. A Half Bathroom/shower, A 75 inch monitor that has Cable and Streaming capabilities and plenty of dresser drawer space and a small closet..  we have central air.. You'll be comfortable there..." said Olivia.

''Are you sure?"asked Ingrid.

"Buy me and my niece and her husband drinks." said Olivia.

"Okay!"said Ingrid..

She bought Olivia a Citris Martini..

"Why Thank You!" said Olivia.

She bought her a Lemon drop Martini

"Hey Thanks!"said Nelson.

She bought him a Glass of Beer.....

"Consider that your retainer... We are now officially, Your lawyers." said Olivia with a smile.

Ingrid felt relieved.

It was a nice night!

At our Office /Duplex-

"If you think it's safe to do so...Go ahead...You've got our business card...If you get arrested..

"Those names you gave us of possible charactor witnesses...We can get on that today..."I said.

"Yes... We'll split them up...Nelson and I will take ten..."said Beverly.

''And Josie and Bresha will take the other ten.." said Josie.

''And we'll go ahead and reserve a spot in Night Court for your arraignment if necessary.." said Josie.

"Who knows...Maybe nothing will happen." said Bresha.

The look on Alfreda's face told the story...None of us believed that!

TUESDAY MORNING!

We had turned in her rental car.....So Ingrid rode the train to work with the rest of the gang!

She found them to be very friendly and basically very nice people..

 

 "Going to work today huh?" said Yvette , attempting to make conversation.

"Yeah I suppose you've heard what happened. "said Ingrid.

"About a body being found in your car....Yeah we heard about it. "said Keith Jones..

"I take it your car has been impounded." said Bee Bee.

"Yes...I have no idea how that body got in my trunk...I know it's hard to believe , but it's true."said Ingrid.

"We've had some cases almost as desperate as yours and just as hard to believe..."said Sofia.

"Yeah, but you know that." said Kahlil.

"Touche'" she said.. She had been the investigator a time or two for the opposing counsel  against Yvette and her team and Olivia, Beverly and their teams....She knew exactly where they were coming from.

"Still we wish you good luck." said Jade..."We don't believe you're a killer."said Jade.

"Thank You!   I'm Not."said Ingrid.

"Good to know."said Virginia.

Jetty cracked up laughing....

"Everything will be alright." assured Jazzy.

"Thank you."said Ingrid...

 

"Hopefully somebody other than Tragg will take over the case."said Dabnis.

"Hope Springs eternal." said Kayla.

"If they do..they'll get to the bottom of who put that body in your car." said Ray.

"That seemed like a pretty selfish and horrid thing to do...Murder somebody and stuff the body in the trunk of somebody's car...."said Jessica.

"Yeah." said Chip.

"The Body belonged to my boyfriend , who I recently broke up with...He had moved out of my apartment and had taken his things two weeks before.. and I uh have a restraining order on the boyfriend I had before.." admitted Ingrid.

"Wowwwwww...talk about a complicated love life..."said Karen.

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuu if Lt. Tragg is running this case, you're in trouble girlie...I'm just keepin it real."said Natalie.

"It may look badm but on the bright side, you've got Olivia and Beverly representing you...It doesn't get any better than that."said David.

"I thought I had a complicated love life before I met you."said Zoey.

"If today is a normal day....You still come on back to Liv and Beverly's house and have dinner with us."said Paris.

They all got off at the Bridge Building..

THE OFFICE OF DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY LESTER BURKE-

"Ingrid...you're at work....I expected you to take off until this business with your car was finished." said DDA Lester Burke,.

"I couldn't hide out....or stay home...I had to come to work....I didn't kill anybody and I really don't know how that body got in the trunk of my car.." said Ingrid..

''Strange as it may seem Ingrid...I believe you.." said DDA Burke..

"But I Don't!   Sgt Brice..read her her rights and cuff her." said Lt. Tragg.

"Ingrid Stevenson...you're under arrest for the murder of  Jason Horsey....You have the right to remain silent..Anything and everything you say can be used against you in a court of law..You have the right to an attorney..If you can not afford one, one will be provided for you... Do you understand these rights as I am reading them to you?" asked Sgt. Brice.

"Yes...Can I call my attorneys before you handcuff me?" asked Ingrid..

"Sure" said Sgt. Pike.

She called Olivia, told her she was being arrested..

And at our office -

"Well the other shoe has fallen...Ingrid was arrested and charged with murder."said Olivia.

 

"Lt. Tragg didn't waste any time did he?" I said.

"I thought he'd at least wait until the end of the week."said Beverly.

"He likes quick arrests."said Nelson.

"That's why so many of them are the wrong person."said Josie.

"I hope this one is...I kinda liked Ingrid... I'd hate to think of her as a killer."said Bresha.

"We all feel that way Bresha...It's Tuesday...We have a night court date....If we get her arraigned and released tonight...That'll really piss Lt. Tragg off."laughed Olivia.

"Let's do it!"laughed Beverly...
