A nice restful afternoon... Three friends sat in Mocha Joe's Coffee shop enjoying conversation,laughs and coffee.

''Well you know after brunch on Saturday we could all go to Bayside."said Chip.

Her husband, B.L. was eating with us tonight...He was not part of the conversation...

After Dinner, we all left the building and boarded the trains..

911 and Homicide was called.

"Wow.... somebody tried to disappear this body real quick and they failed." said a crime scene investigator.

Another CSI guy snapped photos...

"The Body is cold...a little rigor has set in....but I can ascertain that he died hours ago...."said Hazel.

"There is no identification on him....We'll have to get him to the morgue and get his fingerprints and dental records...

"Looks like death was caused by a gunshot wound to the chest...near the heart...."said one of the two Homicide Detectives...

"Damn! I was almost off duty...... Bag him up and get him IDed... I need the Autopsy Reports as soon as possible girls." said Lt. Tragg.

The body of the unidentified man was put in a city body bag and strapped to a gurney and put in a medical van....Headed to the morgue for identification...

"That Body Bag he was in...I know it's been in the water....Check it for prints, DNA or whatever we can possibly pull from it.." said Lt. Tragg.

He watched as the body was wheeled away....

"Hello Yvette...It's been awhile..I see you've moved up in the world, Last time I saw you, you were an Associate Attorney at McCluskey/Cozen/Connor & Pratt...You're a partner at your firm and you have your own staff...I'm impressed. I heard you're married now too...Congratulations." he said,.

"Hello Landon...I hear you're married too! And on a fast track to make Managing Partner at the Harris Group."said Yvette.

"Yes, All true, All True....Are you going up to your suite soon..I need a favor." said Landon Hughes.

"Okay...Sure." said Yvette.

We all walked up to our suite...

"Virginia? I haven't seen you in years....I heard you were disbarred , locked up..." said Landon Hughes.

"I was... I was incarcerated for 7 years and disbarred. I was paroled two years ago and Yvette hired me as her Office Manager. I also work as a Legal consultant." said Virginia.

"Good for you." he said... He slyly squeezed her butt...

"Behave! I'm married now and SO ARE YOU I HEAR!" said Virginia, slyly..

"Heh heh heh"laughed Landon.

In our conference room ,Yvette held court..

" Hello everybody, this is an old friend and colleague of mine, Former Judge Landon Hughes...Landon this is my staff...

"Senior Associate Attorney Keith Jones.." said Yvette..

"Hello, pleased to make your acquaintance." I said.

"Senior Associate Attorney Beatrice Evans, His wife." said Yvette.

"Good Morning Sir." said Sofia.

"And our investigator, Jade Lee-Ho." said Yvette.

"Hello Sir." said Jade.

"And like me, you know Virginia." said Yvette.

Virginia smiled.

"Yes I know Virginia." Landon laughed. "Quite a staff you have here Yvette, I'm proud of far you've come." he said. "Now getting down to cases...I'm here because I need a favor as I told you in the cafeteria. I'm here on behalf of a bright young attorney at my firm..Edward Holman... I don't know if you know, but a few days ago, about a mile from here ,down the pier, a body was fished out of the river." said Landon Hughes.

"I heard about that on the news....Harold Conrad Jr. , A wealthy entrepreneur and man about town. He had his fingers in several local businesses." I said.

Landon Hughes smiled at me.. "I like this kid...He keeps up with the news." he said. "Harold Conrad Jr. was our client, he was Edward Holman's client.... Apparently they had a disagreement about how he was being represented in court. Conrad fired Eddie and was looking for other representation...I immediately tried to smooth things over with him and was in the business of obtaining another attorney for him from my firm when he went missing.. Somebody shot him, killed him and dropped his corpse in the river where it was discovered in the afternoon a few days ago...

Some Drunken Wharf Rat named Hanky Peterson told Lt. Tragg

that he saw Eddie Holman drop the body in the river. He said he was driving a Black Bently....Eddie Holman doesn't drive a Bently at all...and he swears he was nowhere near Penns Landing on that date at that time. I need you to represent him." said Landon Hughes.

"I don't understand...Why us? The Harris Group has plenty of Attorneys..." said Yvette.

"That's the thing...Corporate doesn't want any sign of controversy...They don't want to touch this...One of our attorneys accused of killing a client and a big money client like that..I need you Yvette, an outsider to take on this case..I'll see to it that you are compensated..." said Landon Hughes.
