He was looking at dossiers on us-

"Hmmmmmm Ms. Big Tits and company. Them Again eh?" He mused... "All PENN LAW SCHOOL GRADUATES, ALL WITH A LOT OF TRIAL EXPERIENCE." he said. This was his second time dealing with us.

"The Arthur Cabbot case....Another one of Lt. Tragg's cases...Damn it, I was trying to steer clear of anything having to do with him...His cases are always poorly investigated and he refuses to recanvass or look anywhere but the obvious...." snarled..Courtland James as he looked over the Arthur Cabbot case file..

It was late Friday Afternoon....While he was busy studying the case files...We were relaxing elsewhere...

AT A SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT IN CHERRY HILL, NEW JERSEY...

EMILY'S SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT-

"Tony thank you for suggesting this restaurant again...It's beautiful."said Olivia.

"I thought we were ready for another night of fine dining" quipped Tony Billips.

"This place is very relaxing.." said Donnie Ray

"Yes, It is and after the week we had this is just what the doctor ordered."said Beverly, laughing...

"At least we won our case."said Nelson...

"Yeah at least we got an acquittal."laughed Josie.

"The place looks great and from the smell of things coming out of the kitchen...the food must be slamming."said Paris.

"Just like it was the last time we were here." said Bresha.

"I made reservations for us a few weeks in advance so that we could be seated together." said Tony.

"Good Move Tony...Just like last time...It's so many of us...we have to do that."said Alfreda.

"Yes, excellent choice." said Rockland.

"After the stress of having to research and prepare for this case, it's nice to have a nice night out like this at a new spot."said Yvette.

"Sorry you didn't get to meet with Sharon Manson." said Gary.

"It was a crap shoot...but I had to give it a shot."said Ms. Yvette.

"Where do you think she is and do you think she had anything to do with this?" I asked.

"I don't know. And we don't have time to find her and subpoena her...Guess we won't be able to question her...So we've got to go with what we got."said Yvette.

"Well I think we have enough to provide reasonable doubt.."said Bee Bee.

"Sure we do...We are going to have to argue really persuasively."said Sofia.

''Which we always do." said Kahlil.

"I 've turned this city upside down. I can't find her or anyone wh knows where she made her last tracks...I think she's left town.."said Jade.

"She's not wanted for any crime...So so far she's done nothing wrong.!" said Danny.

"Just go with what you've got...You guys have enough to cause reasonable doubt."said Virginia.

"Provided you don't have a jury of idiots."said Jetty.

Jazzy cracked up laughing.

"You laugh, but juries are funny and they are fickle." said Dabnis.

"Don't I know it." said Kayla.

"But you guys are good at Voir Dire...You'll be just fine." said Ray.

"I think so too."said Jessica.

"We'll be crossing our fingers."said her husband, Chip.

"Yes."said Karen..

"It'll make a great story on HARD BOTTOM"said B.L.

"You guys have been working hard and you did get him to loosen up."said Natalie.

"Yeah, you've already had some minor sucesses."said her husband, David.

"But the ultimate sucess is an acquital...Praying for you Vettie." said Brooke.

"Thank you Brookie."said Yvette.

"I looked at this case... I don't see where there was enough to even arrest this guy.."said her husband, Sean.

"Think about who arrested him..."said Zoey...

"Lt. Arthur Tragg... The Detective's Detective."said Lem, smiling.

Both tables erupted in laughter.

"Look over there...There is Bruce Greene and Paula"said Renee.

"Oh wowwwww!" they are really a thing...I can't believe it."said Tyrell.

In a corner across from us Bruce Greene and Paula Johnson sat together dining.

"They look very happy together.."said Lee Phillips.

"Oh Most definitely..."said her fiance, Matthew Akes.

"Here comes the waitress with our orders.." said Nina.

"Yes.." said her husband, Carlos.

Hot Fried Chicken platters arrived for some of us...with Collard Greens and Sweet Potatoes.

Along with plates of sweet cornbread and butter..

and fried fish platters for the rest of the group..

The Food was delicious.

and cold refreshing Martinis...

To Top the night off...There was live entertainment...A Live Jazz band that performed while we ate.

It was a great night for us all.

II-

Somewhere in Little Norway-

"My man did the job you paid him for and he winds up dead..what was that about?" asked the Russian gangster.

"He wanted more money than I agreed to pay him...He was trying to shake me down." said Sharon Manson...

"Then you should have called me...Not have taken it into your own hands."said the Russian.

"Well I'm sorry...." she said. She noticed he was going for his gun...

She silently went for hers..

They both fired their guns at the same time... His shot hit her center mast in the chest and she fell over the side of the bed...

Her shot hit him in the temple, killing him instantly.....

She crawled over to the window and tried to raise herself up....unfortunately, she fell to the floor and died herself...

Hours later-

"What a mess....Blood everywhere.." said a CSI man...

"Wow ,looks like they had an argument and shot each other...She hit him in the Temple... He hit her in the chest....He died instantly....She tried to raise herself up, but toppled herself over."said another CSI operative.

"Looks like they both have been dead for about four to five hours, judging by body temperatures"said Dr. Hazel Baylor.

"For this man, Death was instantaneous...For Her, she lasted a little longer, not much longer."said Dr. Marcy Martin

"This guy here is a Russian Mafia operative...Yuri Orbeck...He's a fringe charactor...He allegedly arranged contract killings....set people up with hitmen...We've studied him for a long time."said one detective..

"The woman is Sharon Manson....Wife of that guy who was killed along with her married boyfriend, this woman's husband..."said another detective.

"What a mess." said Hazel.

"I know, what was their dispute about? What was she even doing with a guy like this?" asked Marcy.

"Lt. Tragg arrested the husband of the dead woman....He's getting ready to go on trial next week."said Sgt. Brice.

"He may have arrested the wrong man."said one of the detectives..

"Wouldn't be the first time."said another detective..

The whole room burst into laughter.....Lt. Tragg wasn't here and everyone felt a sense of relief..

The Bodies of both were put in body bags, strapped to gurneys and rolled out to the van awaiting to take them both to the morgue...

SATURDAY MORNING- THE NO I.D. BAR BRUNCH...

We were having our Saturday Morning Brunch at the No I.D. Bar...Outside it was raining cats and dogs...

"Well with all this rain..Looks like we all will be going home after breakfast."said Ms. Yvette.

"That's okay by me...We can cuddle up,make some popcorn and watch Netflix and or Hulu.."said Gary

"That sounds like a good plan ." I said,.

"You KNOW we won't be watching any movie...We'll be under those sheets making love the rest of the day."said my wife Bee Bee.

''Maybe later on this afternoon ,if it stops raining, we all might get together and play some cards ."said Sofia.

"The guy she was with was a guy who arranged hits..He set people up with contract killers...Maybe she hired the guy to kill her husband and his girlfriend...and then reneged on the payment...See where I'm going with this?" said Danny.

"I see, but I wonder do I have time to prove it with the trial starting Tuesday."said Yvette.

"Just go with what you got...You all have enough to prove reasonable doubt...You weren't going to interview her anyway...She wouldn't have talked to you guys."said Virginia.

"Well She damn sure won't now."said Jetty...

"It's really raining out there."said Olivia.

"Yeah...Good thing we have bus service that takes us all to our doors."said Donnie Ray..

"Looks like we'll be spending a nice cozy Saturday at home.."said Beverly...

"I'll be warmed by your body heat babe!" said Nelson.

"Looks like we'll be spending the day at home, just the two of us."said Josie.

"Because, it would have looked too obvious.. I'm thinking she hired the hitman and after the deed was done, She reneged on the payment and she offed him." said Kahlil.

"I think so too! Unfortunately , we can't prove any of it. Even the guy who must have arranged the hit is no longer with us..They shot each other to death."said Yvette.
