My wife Natalie, Her bestie Brooke , Myself and Renee Cantrell -Jones all found ourselves in court on the same day and found ourselves having a late breakfast at Sam Mother's Diner.

Brooke, Natalie and Renee ordered the Special which was French Toast

with Hash Browns

and Sausage,

While I had an Omelette with hash Browns and Sausage.

"Did you see those posters outside- Bruce Greene for District Attorney?" asked Natalie as she ate her food.

"I saw em....I tried to ignore them.."I laughed.

"I shudder at the thought of him possibly being my boss." said Brooke.

"I wouldn't worry, I hear Gil Garcetti has a considerable lead in the polls right now."said Renee.

As if on cue, Bruce Greene walked into the diner.....

''Wellllll look who it is...Good Morning Mrs. Cantrell-Jones, he said finally acknowledging that Renee was married. Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Mrs. Marks...How are you?" he said..Sounding like a politician..

"Bruce, get those posters off of the front of my diner...I don't allow anybody to post bills or advertisements on this diner." Yelled an angry Sam Mother from behind the counter.

"As you know I am running for District Attorney..."said Bruce Greene, ignoring Sam Mother.

"Yes we heard....The thought frightens us." said Brooke.

We all howled with laughter....

''Don't tell me you all are voting for Gil Garcetti?" he laughed.

"I'd vote for anyone over you." laughed Natalie ,completely serious.

Which brought about more laughter.....

''Well go ahead and laugh because once I'm elected, I intend to end that Wrongful Conviction,Conviction Integrity group and transfer the three of you and your boss back to working as full time Assistant District Attorneys...and take over that office space as my second office...." said Bruce.

''All the more reason we aren't voting for you." I said.

"If you win, I'll resign..."said Brooke...completely serious.

"And so will I....The Wrongful Conviction/Conviction Integrity section is the only reason Brooke and me are still with the D.A.'s Office...We were going to resign when Gil gave us this assignment. He said he valued us too much to lose us."said Natalie.

"Well that's Gil's thing... I'll be doing things my own way...."said Bruce.

"Yeah that's what we are afraid of..."I said and we all laughed....

Bruce looked at Renee...

"Renee, I've always thought of you as an independent thinker..." he said.

"After what you put my husband through.....They couldn't pay me to vote for you."said Renee non-chalantly.....

We continued eating our food....and ignored him...

Bruce got the message, he walked away, went outside and removed his campaign posters...tossed them into the back of his car and drove off..

An Attractive Black Woman sat behind us...We didn't notice her, but she heard our entire exchange with Bruce Greene and she laughed heartedly....

"Ohhh Bruce, you just don't know....When I get through with you....You won't be able to run for Meter maid...hahahahahahahahaha." she laughed.

COURTROOM A-

Court had just let out...Olivia , Beverly and their team had just won an acquittal of yet another case....

"Well guys, we've done it again huh?" said Olivia.

"Yeah looks like it.." said Donnie Ray....

''Wow we come back from a destination wedding in Cancun and win a big case....How nice.."said Beverly.

"I'm looking forward to a few days of rest and relaxation..." said Nelson.

"Yeah me too....I'm pooped from having a good time and from working too hard." said Josie.

"Me too!"laughed Bresha..

Naturally they met the press , who was asking them questions about the case.... As they fielded questions to the press.

COURTROOM B-

The Courtroom next to theirs had let out...It was a rarity, but Yvette Jones-Lockwood and her team had also just completed a case..

"Once again, I'm very proud of you guys...We come home and we knocked it out of the box...We got an acquittal for our client." said Yvette.

"I didn't think we'd be in court this soon..but work calls.. We did have a big mini-vacay."said Keith Jones.

''Wow we come back from a destination wedding in Cancun and win a big case....How nice.."said Bee Bee.

"Look, there is Olivia and Beverly...They were in the courtroom next door to us..."said Sofia.

"Wow, what's the odds of that?"laughed Kahlil..

Jade smiled.

The Press mobbed them just as they mobbed Olivia, Beverly and their crew and asked them questions..

Before they could leave...Assistant District Attorney Bruce Greene appeared..

"Gentlemen, as you know these are fine attorneys...all masters of their craft, but they use every legal loophole , every trick in the book to get acquittals... and that is because they are facing inferior and undisciplined ADA's..When I am District Attorney, I will be grading each ADA on their efficiency and their results...I'll be requiring them to take refresher courses in law.... I'm going to run a tight ship.."said Bruce Greene.

"You yourself have lost several times to both of these teams...Were you not disciplined Mr. Greene?" asked one reporter...

Bruce Greene was as red as a beet...He looked like he'd swallowed a canary.....

"IS IT TRUE THAT NONE OF YOUR COLLEAGUES ARE SUPPORTING YOU?" asked another reporter...

"MISTER GREENE ,some disturbing stories have risen that you may have had a hand in your wife's death..that you had more than a casual relationship with her killer C.W. Mapp, is that true?" asked another reporter..

"Did you have your wife killed and then kill her killer Mr. Greene.?" asked another reporter..

"WHERE IS THIS COMING FROM?" asked an astonished Bruce Greene....

THE BRIDGE BUILDING-

It was Lunch time , We were all watching the entire thing on the television monitor in our cafeteria....

"OH MY GOD!! THEY ARE KILLING HIM!" laughed Jazzy...

"A-HAAAAAAAAAAAAA,HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA, I'LL BET HE DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!"laughed Dabnis.

"OH MY GOD!!! TALK ABOUT AN AMBUSH!"laughed Kayla...

"DAMNNNNN, OLE BOY IS GETTING KILLED!"laughed Ray....

"AYE MIOS DIOS....They are killing him."laughed Jessica.

"Yeah like he killed C.W. Mapp."laughed Chip.

"You know he was never accused of that or indicted."said Karen in his defense..

"Yeah but it always seemed kind of suspect......I remember....It's been two years now and I was never satisfied that this guy killed his wife and then offed himself."said B.L.

"And how convenient...They found a photo of her in her panties and bra lying beside him....It was a little too neat." said Natalie.

"You think Bruce is capable of killing someone or having someone killed?" I asked.

"He's got a very big ego...I don't know." said Brooke.

"He is a big jerk...but a murderer..I don't know." said Sean.

"Well what do you think Tyrell? After all you were on trial for her murder....It all seemed like a set up."said Zoey.

"You were having an affair with her." said Lem..

"And he knew it all along...In the trial it came out that he had a Private Investigator following his wife the whole time." said Tyrell.

"And she was shot as soon as she left your apartment..She didn't make it down the street."said Renee.

"He had sent C.W. Mapp to prison for a few years and he was recently released..Like most ex-cons he needed money...Two withdrawals of $1500.00 dollars was taken out of Bruce Greene's bank account.

and a deposit of $3000.00 dollars was made to C.W. Mapp's account. He wasn't working...It was never explained where that money came from." said Tyrell.

"He couldn't explain it since he was dead." said Paris.

"A man deposits a large sum of money in his account and then kills himself ,It just doesn't play."said Tony.

"These are questions that should have been asked of Bruce Greene , a long time ago..."said Lee Phillips.

"But Nobody ever asked...They are asking now."said Nina..

''And what a time to be asking...When he's running for D.A."laughed her husband, Carlos.

Lt. Tragg was howling with laughter...He had been watching the news report at Judge Kelly Ann Mercer's loft.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH! It sure feels good to see somebody else get ambushed by those reporters..

They certainly have done it to me enough...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"he laughed.

"Oh Arthur that's not nice!"said Kelly Ann....

Bruce Greene sat in Curley's Bar tonight...Alone...He was livid...He had had the worst day of his campaign.. Ambushed by reporters on Television like that..

"I tell you Curley...This is Gil Garcetti....He planted those questions in those reporters minds..He's trying to railroad my campaign,....This is a hit job engineered by him." he said.

"Awww Bruce you don't know that." said Curley...

He was tired of Bruce whining and complaining....He almost wished Lt. Tragg was here to get into a bar room brawl.....

THAT NIGHT AT HOME!

"What of you think of Bruce Greene eventually being our boss?" asked Natalie.

"You heard his plans for us if he wins....And if he wins, I'd resign right away." I said.

"You, me and Brooke."said Natalie..

"Jessica Sanchez said we could always come and work for the Innocence Project if we ever left Wrongful Conviction.."I said.

"God Bless her...It's Boss Lady I'd be worried about."said Natalie...

"Bruce isn't going to win...The other ADA's hate him...They aren't supporting him...I'm not worried." I said.

"Look,.I'm very horny, I hope you are too!" laughed Natalie., changing the subject...
