Another Rum Cake-

CHRISTMAS EVE- JOSIE'S BAR-

Josies's ,The neighborhood Bar and entertainment emporium was where everybody spent Christmas Eve and New Years Eve...Tonight was no different...The crowds started drifting in around 5:30 shortly after work...

Gus welcomed the crowds...

 And the joint was crowded..

Seemed like more so tonight, Christmas Eve ,than norma;.

Honey Brown welcomed everyone also....

There was a fantastic Soul Food Buffet

Tonight they had three D.J.'s from out of town ...

.They kept the dance floor crowded...

and Symphony Sam and the House Band.. which kept the place jumping while the D.J.'s took a break and made plates of food for themselves..

and naturally drinks were plentiful. 

"I didn't think anything could top last night...but then again, I forgot about Josies."said Olivia.

 

"Yes, Josie's always does it up big.."said Donnie Ray.

"I've always loved it here...I've always felt at home here."said Beverly.

"This is our home, our neighborhood spot."said Nelson.

"It's so nice we have places like Josie's to come to as well as Aqua Bar, Stoleys, The Mermaid Club..."said Josie.

"Yeah, this neighborhood has it all.. Nice Houses, Lofts,Apartments, Condos, Clubs, Restaurants, even transportation." said Paris.

"Yeah all it lacks is a decent and clean laundromat." said Bresha.

"I got a feeling that's coming....In the meanwhile, It's nice they let us use the washing machines in the basement of the apartments."said Tony....

"That's good as long as our friends are living there...Nina and Carlos are looking for a house and once Lee and Matthew get married , they are going to be looking for a house too. I just hope it's close to all of us." said Alfreda.

"Even if it's not...They still work in the Bridge Building...They'll still be part of the group."said Rockland.

At another table, but waving distance was Serendipity and her fiance, Kevin... and Natika Sommers and her boyfriend, Deputy District Attorney Lester Burke.

 

"This is sooo nice, This is my first Christmas Eve at Josie's...Olivia told me it would be packed and to get here early."said Serendipity.

 

"None of them had to work today..."said her fiance, Kevin.

"So..is Bruce and Paula still a thing?" asked Natika to Lester.

"Oh yeah...He's been staying with her the past few days....He said he's taking her out someplace special tonight...NOT HERE, in case you were wondering...You can always tell when he's gettin some...He comes to the office all smiles, whistling and singing and generally in a good mood."laughed Lester.

 "I didn't think anything could top last night...but then again, I forgot about Josies. Liv called me and reminded me"said Yvette.

"Yeah, Josie's always does it up big."said Gary.

"This is bigger and better than last year."said Keith Jones.

"Yes, they have the house band playing and three d.J.'s .This place is lit."said Bee Bee.

"It is...This is the best night ever."said Sofia.

"WOW FIRST STEPHON BRISTOL's soiree and then the Steak and Seafood house party and now tonight... I'm really in the Christmas Spirit now." said Kahlil.

"Yes, so am I." said Jade.

"Nothing like Good Food, Good Music, Plenty of drinks, Good Friends and Good Fellowship."said Danny Ho.

"AMEN to that...A lot of these people we don't get to see during the year at one time...It's nice to see them all here." said Virginia.

"Yes, indeed." said Jetty.

Jazzy was busy making plates for her and Dabnis.....

"Why do you keep looking at me and smiling?" she asked.
 

"No reason...you just look so hot..." he said, continuing to smile.

"Awwwwwww you're kinda hot your self."said Jazzy,smiling...

"I almost forgot about Josie's Big Christmas Eve Party.." said Kayla.

"And Don't forget Dinner tomorrow at Renee's house.." said Ray..

"Oh we haven't forgotten that...That's a Christmas Tradition we've started."said Jessica , who had spent a few Christmas's alone in the bar...before she and Chip hooked up and before she moved in our neighborhood.

Chip remembered how lonely Jessica was around Christmas and how overjoyed she is now to have friends to shop with and party with.. No more lonely holidays...

Karen was equally glad to be surrounded by friends, Especially her two besties from Law School, Olivia and Yvette and their "extended "family. She now had one too with Natalie and Brooke and their husbands.

B.L. , like Jessica had spent many a holiday alone and or in the bar until closing...He liked this much better.

Natalie was busy making plates for her and David.....

"Why do you keep looking at me and smiling?" she asked.
 

"Because you're so hot and I can't believe I'm so lucky to have you." said David.

"Awwww I'm lucky too!" said Natalie.

"I feel so good right now...Like I don't want this to ever end.."said Brooke.

"Don't think about an ending...Just think about right now...This moment." said Sean.

Zoey laid her head on Lem's shoulders...

"I'm so happy right now." she said.

"I am too." he said.

"I can't wait until tomorrow...Everybody over our house for dinner." said Renee.

"Yeah it'll be fun."said Tyrell.

"I can't wait until tomorrow....This time last year I didn't know any of you guys...I spent Christmas alone in the Atlantic Bar.. Two guys tried to pick me up."said Lee.

"I'm glad they didn't....Now we are together and part of a whole community."said Matthew.

""I've always loved it up here...Even before I lived in this area...Just coming to visit Olivia and Yvette."said Nina.

"I'm talking to their realtor... I hope we find a house near them all."said Carlos.

A few tables away were our friends, The Cops.

"Josie's never disappoints." said Sissy.

"No it doesn't....Great Food and Great music...Can't beat that." said Eddie C.

"I've always loved it here...even before we actually lived in this area."said Carlotta.

"Me too!  I'm glad we moved around here."said ADA Keith Wallace.

"So many folks we don't get to see that often."said Tyriq.

"I know and this is a great time to see em." said Sirena.

"Christmas is tomorrow....I'm as excited as a little kid."said Jimmy.

"I know....I seee." giggled his wife, Angie.

"Mannnnn this food is great..So is this music." said Hop.

"I'm going to go over and say hi to Olivia and Vettie and Karen."said Sharon.

"Your old law school chums."said Duke.

"Me too! though I see them enough, Testifying in court for them."laughed Hazel.

"Hi God daddy, God Mama."said Josie...

"Josie girl, how are you?  I see Olivia and Beverly have been taking good care of you."said Kevin Morris, hugging her.

"Olivia invited Kevin and me over for dinner during the new year....Tell her I love what she's done with the place."said Sepia.

"Thought I'd stop by here and say hello to you both."said Nina Rios.

"Hi Nina...we haven't forgotten you....we are going to try and you two a house close to your friends..."said Bonita.

"Hey Nina.."said Robert Foxworth..Bonita's husband.

"Hello Counselor."said Nina.

Kevin's main man, Kool Kat sat at a seperate table with his wife...Who worked for Sepia and Bonita.

"You want another drink?" he asked.

"No and you don't need anymore to drink either." she said.

"This is soooooooo nice...Next Year we are going to start coming out more."said Bonnie Shay...

"Oh Most definitely..."said her husband, Ronald Shay.

It was a wonderful night.

CHRISTMAS EVE-

Bruce Greene took Paula Johnson to the same stylish restaurant he had taken her to last year..

Bruce Greene had impeccable tastes in clothes...(He had on an expensive Italian Tailored Suit and a new fragrance) and in Restaurants as well...He was at a stylish restaurant for Christmas eve Dinner and Cocktails.

To his surprise ,he saw Lt. Tragg and his date, Judge Kelly Ann Mercer also at the same restaurant..

Despite his well tailored suits...He didn't think Lt. Tragg had the class or intelligence to even know about a restaurant like this...Let alone the paycheck...Bruce mused to himself, but here he was...

Here They were.

Judge Kelly Anne.looked deliciously beautiful tonight...and way out of Lt. Tragg's leauge....So many women he knew were dating below themselves, he also mused, but here she was..

"Bruce this is amazing...I love this place. Hard to believe this time last year I was dumping a Rum Cake on your head." said Paula.

"Well it's different this year...I've paid for everything...You don't have to pay for a thing and speaking of Rum Cake.. I've ordered one for our table, after we have dinner." said Bruce.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUU!" she squealed happily.

A Rum Cake was delivered to their table. Lt. Tragg saw it and he smirked-

"See that Kelly Anne? he ordered a Rum Cake  for their table.. Remember last year when she dumped it on his head...I wonder if we'll get a replay?"laughed Lt. Tragg.

"Stop it Arthur....Just stop. That's not nice!"laughed Judge Kelly Anne.

Paula and Bruce enjoyed their night.

Bacon Wrapped Scallops were served as appetizers.

Like last year, Vintage Wines were also served.

They did have a delicious meal of Prime Rib....

and more wine....

Like last year, Paula enjoyed everything immensely....

Unlike last year, Bruce didn't talk much at all... He spent the night eating and drinking and staring at Paula.

''Stop Staring at me...you look like you're staring through my clothing."said Paula.

"I wish I could.."said Bruce dreamily....

"If you're a good boy, you'll find out later on tonight what I'm wearing beneath my dress."laughed Paula..

She leaned over and kissed him softly...

a kiss that got more passionate....

Bruce had her lipstick on the side of his face and her lapel....

Lt. Tragg laughed..

"Looks like he got it right this year..."he said.

"Leave them alone Arthur." said Kelly Anne.

III-

CHRISTMAS DAY!

Renee and Tyrell were once again hosting Christmas...It was their third year as husband and wife in their new home....and their third foray of hosting Christmas.

They had a beautiful tree up and were ready to welcome their guests...

Renee was so excited and so happy to host Christmas Dinner again...

"Hi everybody....As Ms.Alfreda says...Dig in...Grab yourselves a plate...We are all family here...There are no strangers..."she said excitedly..

So was her husband, Tyrell.

Kayla and her husband, Ray St. Jacques hosted Thanksgiving Dinner at their house.. They used the top floor of their house..  They were more than happy to switch the Christmas Dinner to Renee and Tyrell's house which had much more room...

  Kayla smiled... She, her cousins ,Olivia and Beverly, Donnie Ray and her Aunt Alfreda had cooked the meal and had worked with the caterers to bring in all of the food. They had left Renee and Tyrell's house a little after one o'clock earlier today, and had Renee and Tyrell over their house for Breakfast this morning...

"Buffet style Baby." said her husband, Ray,...

"Renee, everything is just beautiful... You've outdone yourself once again girl. but then, you always do."said Olivia.

''Well done ." I agreed.

"I had help...Thank you all for all of your help...with the food, the decorations, everything.." said Renee

"Oh you're quite welcome...There's enough food for everyone and then some..." said Alfreda...

Her cousin, Olivia,Olivia's husband,  Donnie Ray and her "Aunt" Alfreda prepared the Christmas meal and The Christmas Table..

Beverly and her husband, Nelson and his mother arrived shortly afterwords...

Josie, Paris and his mother and father arrived too..

Bresha, Tony and Alfreda's husband, Rockland arrived.....Rockland had spent many holidays alone...He was glad to be in the company of friends at both Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Jazzy, Dabnis and their parents arrived...

Jessica and Chip arrived with their Parents and Jessica's Grand Mother..

Jade and her husband, Danny Ho arrived....

Yvette,and Gary and Ms. Yvette's Mother arrived next....

Sofia and Kahlil arrived with their parents and Sofia's Grandmother.

Bee Bee came with her mother and father...

Keith Jones's  Father came again with h wife..Someone we all knew 

ADA Sharrone Stokes...Now  Mrs. Sharonne Morrison.

They had gotten married last summer....

Nia Rios and her new husband, Carlos Diaz also arrived,...This was their second time sharing Christmas with us...

Lee Phillips and her fiance, Matthew Ake were spending their first Christmas with us.

His Mother , sister and Father joined everyone for the first time.

 Virginia Shaw and Jetty Dukes Arrived next...

Jetty brought Champaigne and Wine..

"Now it's a party" he declared as everybody cheered.

The Caterer arrived with a tray for everybody... An Italian Buffet, A Pan-Asian Buffet, A Latin Buffett, A Middle Eastern Buffett and a Soul Food Buffett...

Everyone's Parents were impressed and really happy that we had thought about all of the different heritages our group consisted of

Zoey and Lem arrived followed by,  Karen Page and B.L. 

 Karen Page beamed with happiness...She had a new husband, a new home and surrounded by her good friends and colleagues.

B.L. looked like he had a continuous blush on his face....

Brooke, her husband, Sean, Natalie, her husband, David, Renee and her mother and Tyrell , her  husband of two years and his mother and sister joined us...

"OH MY GOD!! ALL THIS FOOD!" exclaimed Brooke...

"Liv told us to bring our appetites.." laughed her husband Sean...

"She didn't lie....and she told us to bring containers to take some of this food home.."said Natalie..

"Good Idea....That will hold us on the weekends." said David..

"Oh My God...I really like hanging out with these guys, being affilliated with them.."said Tyrell..

"That's why we moved around here babes.." said  wife, Renee.

Our circle of friends was growing even wider.....That was a good thing! This was our biggest celebration yet....Just like last year.

IV-

CHRISTMAS EVE-

Bruce Greene was in a daze....

He had lipstick on his collar and on his face... His trousers were standing out like a circus tent.

This was a far cry from last year..He had been kissing Paula all night after they left the restaurant..

Paula Johnson had a wry smile on her face... She couldn't believe Bruce was so enthralled with her..

Couldn't believe that in one year he had changed so much...Gone was the bragging and endless talking about himself and his accomplishments that had bored her last year....And he was sooo sweet, insisting on paying for everything and buying another Rum Cake...Which she put in her refrigerator.

and the roses he sent to her office, which were now at her home... He was just so sweet to her now..

She had had a wonderful Christmas Eve-

She motioned to him to come to her...and she giggled and ducked into her bedroom.

He laughed and followed her into the bedroom...

She opened her blouse and took him into her arms...

"Merry Christmas Bruce..." she said.

"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM BRUCE!" she cooed.

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW LAWWWD!" he moaned.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS BRUCE!" she moaned.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO SWEETIE!" he said.

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!" she cooed.

He unsnapped her bra and slipped  her panties down.....

He nearly exploded just looking at them..

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW MY DAMNNNN!" he moaned..

She laughed loudly at how horny he was...

"I purchased these from Bridget Jones's lingerie store last week...I never dreamed anybody would be seeing me in them." she said.

"Ohhhhh I'm going to buy her a Christmas Present."said Bruce.

"You are sooo silly."laughed Paula.

"PAULA!!! YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE ME LOSE MY MIND!" Bruce hollered out...

"Am I?" she giggled as he flipped her over and entered her slowly....Bruce's eyes nearly rolling into the back of his head..

"OUUUUUUU JUST PUT IT IN ME !!!!ALL OF IT...UMMMMMMMMMM!" she moaned.

"AWWWWWWWWW LAWWWD!" he moaned....

Paula opened her legs wider and stretched her legs over his arms as he thrusted into her slower...Paula was so warm and so wet....Bruce didn't know if he was coming or going...

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" she said.. "You feel so damn gooood!" she laughed..

ELEVEN TO TWELVE HOURS LATER , they both finally climaxed.....
