The Yvette Show

Sean Marks and Ms. Yvette were fetching coffees for all of us at the Coffee shop down the street from the courthouse..
 

"Yvette, They subpoened Todd Dellums....He feels horrible about this...Like he's betraying Blake and you guys."said Sean.

"We know that Blake spotted Tony Salermo and went to the Feds....He couldn't believe he was out of prison...He had a 15 year sentence...and he was supposed to go into witness protection and here he was as free as a bird and in Philadelphia.   The FBI and local police turned this city upside down trying to find him... They found him, but he had served his time...5 years and had helped them out in even more cases....So there was nothing they could do." said Yvette,.

"I think Salermo didn't like being found out and he figured that Blake had told on him...I think he was going to talk to Blake that night....And other people found out he was here...Bad people, People he didn't want to know who he was and that he was here...Somebody followed him and somebody killed

him."said Sean.

"That's what I think and that's what we are going to try and prove Sean."said Yvette.

At the courthouse we were glad to see the coffees..

We were happy to get the hot steaming tumblers of coffee...

"Oh Thank you guys." I said.

"Thank youuuuuuu!" said Bee Bee.

"Hola....I sure wish they had Churros around here to go with."said Sofia.

"Thank You."said Kahlil.

"Thank you." said Jade.

"Thanks for the coffee...I just want to get this thing started and get it over with." said Blake.

"Oh that will happen soon enough...You'll see."said ADA Bruce Greene, who had just happened to walk in with his own tumbler of coffee.

COURTROOM E-

There was a new Judge hearing this case...Someone we did not know...she was a very attractive Black woman.

"GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING....I Am Judge Thelma Harper....Welcome to my courtroom....Due to courtroom crowding of cases , we are going to bypass a preliminary hearing...We know that a crime, a henious crime has been committed so we are going to go straight to trial.. I expect, some of you are tired of hearing this...but it is what it is..We are  trying to wind down our case load.. We will have Jury selection today.. Trial could begin tomorrow morning if we seat a jury today.." said Judge Harper.. "We will start today with introductions.." she said.

"Representing the Commonwealth, I am Assistant District Attorney and recent candidate for district Attorney Bruce Greene." said Bruce Greene proudly.

Even Lt. Tragg, sitting next to him, sighed and grimaced..

"Is he going to remind everybody that he ran for District Attorney everytime he gives a presentation?" whispered Bee Bee to Sofia.

"I know...Especially since he lost..." said Sofia.

Yvette smiled...She loved her two protoge's.... "Yvette Jones-Lockwood, For the Defense Your honor."she said.

"Keith Jones for the defense your honor." I said.

"Beatrice Evans-Jones for the Defense your honor." said Bee Bee.

"Sofia Garcia-Ahmed, for the defense your honor." said Sofia.

"Kahlil Ahmed for the defense your honor." said Kahlil

and finally-

"Sean Marks for the defense your honor."said Sean.

Bruce Greene hadn't known that Sean was helping us... Six Lawyers...This clown had six lawyers helping him....

Blake was wearing a brand new Italian cut suit with a great fragrance and sitting smugly next to Jade.

Jade found him and his fragrance enchanting....

Elaine had opted not to come to trial for fear of triggering Bruce.

Bruce was unhinged and easily triggered...He seemed a little disappointed that Elaine was nowhere to be found in the courtroom.Never the less the show had to go on.

"Alright we'll now have jury selection." said Judge Harper.

Jury selection began with Me and Kahlil  doing our thing...We had studied the Jury panel and knew exactly who we wanted to pick...We had our questions ready...

Bee Bee and Sofia helped us out with our questions ,which they had listed on their laptop.

Bruce had prepared and prepared well..He had some great questions himself... We battled to a surprising 6-6 tie...with him getting the Jury Foreman....It looked like a victory for him...

Kahlil and I were a little disappointed.

"Don't worry...We still have a trial to worry about."said Ms. Yvette.

"Outstanding!" We have a jury.....Trial will begin here tomorrow promptly at 9:00 am...Attorneys and Jurors be on time and ready for trial."said Judge Harper. "Court Dismissed." she said.

"I liked the Judge." said Sofia.

"I liked her too!"said Bee Bee.

"Get lot's of rest tonight kiddies...Tomorrow the kid gloves come off."snarled Bruce Greene.

"If that's the case...you'd better get a lot of rest then."said Ms. Yvette..

Me, Kahlil and Sean burst ino loud laughter.

Bruce stomped his foot and angrilly stormed out of the courtroom...

"It doesn't pay to be that miserable." said Blake.

"No it doesn't." agreed Yvette with a smile.

II-

COURTROOM E-

Bruce Greene is a talented orator, a great storyteller who can mesmerize a jury with his oratory...

He spun a story of how Blake Wade, a successful attorney saw Gangster, Tony Salermo

on the streets of Philadelphia... Tony Salermo, an underworld figure who confessed to killing his sister in law, ,Attorney Erika Crawley.

He didn't know about a new deal made with the feds , who reduced his sentence to 5 years and who released him to Witness Protection..

Apparently he fled Witness Protection and returned to Philadelphia, a city where he was virtually unknown...

Until Blake Wade saw him and recognized him and vowed revenge...

Yvette argued that this was total nonsense...Yes he recognized him. Yes he inquired about him to the feds...but that it went no further than that.. Besides she said...He was embroiled in a bitter Morgtage Fraud Case and was not worried about Tony Salermo...

Yvette admitted that upon seeing him on the street he did go to the FBI to ask why he was out... Turns out the Philadelphia FBI didn't know he was here either. He had recently fled Butte,Montana, where he had been given a new identity and was in Witness Protection..

Yvette went on to suggest that instead ,someone from the underworld had found him followed him and killed him...He had testified for the government in 115 trials and helped put a number of gangsters away for stiff sentences..

Bruce Greene called Todd Dellums, a U.S. Attorney as a hostile witness...

Todd Dellums couldn't hide his total disdain for Bruce Greene.... He answered some questions ,but was relieved when Bee Bee and Sofia came to his rescue..

Bruce was as usual, over the top and they objected to many of his questions, citing good cross examination rules, laws from like cases, predicates  and general law...

Judge Harper was mightily impressed with the two young ladies and ruled in their favor..

Bruce tossed his suit jacket into the air and spun around like a top in frustration.....

Judge Harper was astounded by his behavior and warned him several times about it..

This brought Ms. Yvette, Myself, Kahlil, Sean,Blake and Ms. Jade to guffaws of laughter..

"Bruce is winning our case for us."laughed Ms. Yvette.

"Look how the jury is looking at him." I said.

''Some of them are snickering too!"said Kahlil.

"You've trained Bee Bee and Sofia too good."laughed Sean.

"Those girls can cite case law verbatim...damn."said Blake.

"They study hard for it before each case..."said Jade.

Lt. Tragg was livid.. "Get yourself together counselor, you're blowing this case and you're making yourself look like a fool." he said.

"It'll be a cold day in hell when I need advice from you." snarled Bruce Greene.

Todd Dellums admitted that Blake Wade had come to the FBI and asked about Tony Salermo and told them he'd seen him and where he'd seen them...but that was all..He said they had one meeting...that was it. No more was said about it...And no he never made any threats toward Salermo.

He said the FBI and C.I.D. turned the city upside down looking for him which might have alerted other elements in the underworld of his true identity and may have sent them off after him...He was after all a 

known Federal witness in a number of cases, known on the street as a snitch.

Bruce didn't want to hear this , nor had he wanted the jury to hear this.

He called Lt. Tragg to the stand..

Lt. Tragg showed the jury lurid photos of the crime scene...taken in the walk space next to Blake's residence.

On cross I asked him if the police had uncovered the murder weapon...He said they had not.

Kahlil asked him if based on where the body was found he had come to the conclusion that our client was the killer?

He said yes, based on that and the fact that he had inquired about why this man ,who murdered his sister in law was back on the street.

Sean asked him if based on his reasoning, why didn't he arrest the people in the house on the other side.

"At least they were home." he said.

This brought the jury to guffaws of laughter.

and made Lt. Tragg as red as a beat....

Bruce accused Sean of badgering the witness....

Sean smiled-"No Further questions your honor." he said.

It had been an interesting week and a most entertaining trial....Bruce gave a very dramatic and nonsensical closing argument.

"Does the defense plan a defense?" asked the Judge, trying to compose herself ...She had been laughing.

"Yes we do your honor...Monday Morning."said Yvette.

''Alright, Monday Morning at 9:00 AM we will convene with a defense....Attorneys and Jurors be on time and be ready for trial....Court is dismissed." said the Judge.

III-

THE NO I.D. BAR-

Drinks were plentiful and flowing....

"Wow, your trial has really been flowing."said Elaine as she sat on Blake's lap..

"That clown Bruce Greene is winning our case for us."laughed Blake.

 

 ''We give our defense Monday and Tuesday and that should do it."said Yvette, who was sitting on her husband's lap.

Gary smiled...He loved how Yvette smelled and how soft her body was.

I felt the same about Bee Bee, who was sitting on my lap, sipping a martini.

"When he tossed his suit jacket up in the air and started that spinning around, I lost it."I said.

"I know, so did Sofia and I."said Bee Bee.

"I sure hope he doesn't saunter in here tonight...This is so cozy."said Sofia , who was sitting on Kahlil's lap.

"I thought that Judge was going to toss him in the cooler at one point."said Kahlil.

"I just want to put all of this behind me."said Blake.

"I can imagine you do."said Jade.

"You're almost there."said Danny Ho.

"I think Monday or Tuesday I am going to drop down there."said Virginia.

"I miss when I was a Defense Attorney..."laughed Jetty..

 

"We finished up our innocence Project case today..."said Olivia,  who was sitting on her husband's lap.

 

Donnie Ray looked like he was in heaven as he held Olivia in his lap and hugged her.

Beverly was also sitting in her husband's lap.

"It's cozier in here than couples night at Curleys." laughed Beverly...

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmm."moaned Nelson as he sipped his beer with one hand and held Beverly with the other.

Josie and Paris and Bresha and Tony were kissing passionately in their seats...

"Those two are really going at it."laughed Alfreda.

"Give you any ideas?" asked Rockland..

"Yes you horny dog."said Alfreda ,giving him a kiss...

"Well alright!" said Rockland... 

"We've got a court date Monday...Maybe we can drop in on Yvette's trial."said Nina.

"Yeah, we can make a day of it."said Carlos.

 

"I wish I was still working a case with them."said Lee.

"It was exciting wasn't it bae?" said her boyfriend, Matthew.

Jazzy was sitting on her husband's lap.

"Ouuuuuuuuuu you're enjoying this a little too much." she laughed as she sipped her Martini...

 

"Awwwwwwwwwwwww LAWWWWWD Mrs. Coley, you just don't know."moaned Dabnis...

"Such a nice , mellow Friday Night..." sighed Kayla.

"Yeah after Brunch tomorrow...We don't have anything planned....We can come home and cuddle naked in our bedroom."laughed Ray..

"You are such a horn dog, but that does sound nice." said Kayla.

"I'm glad our case is over and it ended in our favor."said Jessica.

"Did you for one minute have any doubts?" asked Chip.

''Wanna go to the movies tomorrow night?" asked Karen.

"That's a great idea."said B.L.

"After brunch tomorrow ,I've got to go to the Dry cleaners to pick up our clothes."said Natalie.

"Then it's an afternoon of cuddling in our bedroom...How bout a kiss baby?" said David.

"You always want to kiss me." cooed Natalie..

"Ummmmmm because your lips are sooo damn soft." said David.

Brooke and her husband, Sean, who had been helping us were sitting at their table kissing passionately...

"Chocolate Daddy, I miss you not being at Breakfast and Lunch...I know you're working that case with Yvette."said Brooke.

"Two more days tops Vanilla and it should all be over." said Sean.

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmm....OUUUUUUUUUUUU" she cooed as they kissed.

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...awwwww lawwwd!" he moaned.

''What a nice mellow night." said Zoey, who like the others was sitting on her husband's lap.

"Yes , it is.."said Lem.

"Oh My God, look who just walked in...Bruce Greene and he looks like he's been drinking."said Renee.

"He's probably coming from Curleys....He knows we hang out in here.I hope he doesn't make this a habit."said Tyrell, who felt uncomfortable with Bruce Greene watching them.

Bruce Greene had been at Curleys drinking earlier and now he was here...it was almost 1:00 AM.

Elaine walked over to him....

"Bruce....I was wrong...I was Wrong for leading you on...I was wrong for getting sexually involved with you...and I am so sorry...I hope one day you will find it in your heart to forgive me." she said softly.

''If you think this is going to make me go easy on Blake Wade or drop or lesson the charges...You're mistaken young lady." said Bruce drunkenly...

Elaine turned around and walked away....

Under her breath she grumbled..."Assss hole!"

Renee Cantrell-Jones heard her and smiled....She perfectly understood....

At 2:00 AM, all of us piled out of the bar and into the two buses that would take us all to our homes...

Blake and Elaine got into his car , a 2025 Audi SUV 

They drove to Blake's home....Soon to be her home too once they were married...

"It feels good to be here with you." said Elaine.

"You wouldn't have anywhere to stay if we hadn't hooked up...Your girlfriend is back now isn't she?" said Blake.

"Yeah, she's a Judge...Her name is Thelma Harper...She came back and got assigned a case just like that."said Elaine..

"Oh My God!! She's the Judge in my murder case."said Blake.

"Really ??Oh My God!!! Small world.." said Elaine..

''Ummmmmmmmmm, enough about my trial." he moaned..

"YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!! OUUUUUUUUUUUU YOUR LIPS ARE SO SOFT!" she siad.

"SO ARE YOURS!" he moaned.

Bruce Greene protested vehemently that there was no relevance and that this was distracting from the crime.

Judge Thelma Harper thought it amusing and allowed it...

He and Blake Wade..

Tuesday was The Yvette Show-

The next day, Yvette produced Credit Card receipts that proved Blake Wade was at a Bar in Midtown and later at a Hotel in Cherry Hill during the time of the murder... She produced The Bartender at the Bar who served him and a "Lady Friend" and the Check in man at the hotel and the maid at the hotel who confirmed the time he was there...

...

She then produced the Coroner, Dr. Marcy Martin , who pronounced the time of death..

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this proves my client was nowhere near the scene of the crime and at the time of the crime...The Defense Rests!" she said.

THE WAITING AREA-

Brooke, Natalie and David came down to see us....

"WOW YVETTE, YOU PUT ON A SHOW TODAY!" said Brooke.

"That was lawyering 101 ." said Natalie.

"That was incredible...The Yvette show!" said David..

"I couldn't have done it without my team...My brilliant team that consisted of your husband Brookie..."said Yvette, hugging Brooke.

"I'm so proud of him..."laughed Brooke..

"The Jury has come back." said Sean....

We hadn't been in the hallway a half hour...More like twenty minutes...We rushed back into the courtroom..

COURTROOM E- 

"Well, this is rather quick..."said Judge Thelma Harper.. "Do you have a verdict?" she asked.

"Yes we do your honor."said the Jury Foreman.

Bruce looked hopeful...The Jury Foreman was after all one of his picks..He watched as the Jury Foreman passed the verdict to the bailiff and he passed it to Judge Thelma Harper.

She read it and smiled..

"Read it."she said Gently...

The Bailiff read it..

"WE REPRESENTING THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA IN THE MATTER OF PENNSYLVANIA VS BLAKE WADE, FIND THE DEFENDENT NOT GUILTY of FIRST DEGREE MURDER.

Bruce Greene was incensed...He leaped up into the air and spun around like a top, losing his balance and falling to the floor..

 

 Yvette fainted....Blake helped her up...

"We did it!"she said.

"I had no doubt...Thank you once again for doing a masterful job! And thank you guys too! All of you." said Blake.

"Oh you're welcome..All in a days work." I said.

"Or a week and two days." said Bee Bee.

"That Jury wanted to go home and they were grateful to us for not keeping them more than two days."said Sofia.

''We didn't need to, thanks to Jade's stellar work."said Kahlil, hugging Jade.

"Like Keith said, All in a days work." said Jade humbly, laughing..

As she promised, Virginia had come down to see us on the last day of the trial...

"Wow Vettie you put on a clinic today....The Yvette Show." she said.

 

 I couldn't have done any of this without my brilliant and talented team...You should have been here last week and yesterday when they held the floor, Thank you ,All of you." said Yvette.

"Thank you, for giving us this great opportunity to work for this firm." I said.

"Yes and teaching us everything we know."said Bee Bee.

''What a great mentor and teacher you've been."said Sofia.

"And friend as well."said Kahlil.

"Yes Yvette, You really know how to put a team together and run a case...You should teach a class."said Sean.

''She has...She's lectured at PENN and Middleton Law School."said Jade.

"That's my girl."said Virginia.

Bruce Greene had finally gotten up off of the floor.. Now he was jumping up and down like a petulant child..

Even Lt. Tragg was disgusted with his behavior as he tried to distance himself from him and ease out the door of the courtroom...

"Boyyy Bruce needs pyschiatric attention...I'm serious."said Natalie.

"Or sex."said David.

"All you think about is sex..Sex isn't the answer for everything.."said Natalie,laughing...

''Calms me down.."said David.

"What are you going to do Yvette?" asked Brooke.

"I'm going home and make love to my husband..." said Yvette, smiling..  It had been quite a day.

EPILOUGE-

Elaine and Blake got remarried.... and they set up shop here in Philadelphia.

Tony Salermo's murder remains unsolved at the present time...It's believed his death was a mob hit!

Yvette, true to her word, went home to be with her husband, Gary.....

Yvette was sitting on the side of the bed in her red baby doll.

Gary walked in and leaned over her shouders..

"Ummmmm end of a long trial eh?"" he said.

"Yes.....end of a long trial... I'm all yours...Tonight my focus is all on you."whispered Yvette.

opening her legs and entering her again....

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU! I DON'T KNOW!"  Yvette moaned..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUU VETTIE!"moaned Gary...

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM GARYYYYYY! OUUUUUUUUUUU!" moaned Yvette.

As their bed began to move up and down and their headboard began to lightly tap the wall.

For the next TEN TO ELEVEN HOURS their attention was on each other, their bed was getting a really good workout. Yvette was having multiple orgasms that left her crying like a little girl..and her body trembling..

Gary didn't seem like he wanted to stop..
